Boba Fett has discovered that an ancient splinter group of Mandalorian mercenaries known as the Death Watch are not just the stuff of myth and rumor but are operating out of a hidden location. Boba Fett?s network of spies has also discovered that the Death Watch assassins have contracted a heavy of contingent of the Black Sun to help them in their unknown plans. Are you brave enough to find out what these heinous villains are up to? Work your way through this new adventure zone with over 6 Action packed new quests and unique new crafting missions to find out what has brought these ancient warriors out of hiding!

Have you made it out to the bunker yet?

What were your experiences?

What is your opinion of this new adventure zone?

Ok first off Boba didn't discover this, he knows that theywere allwiped out sometime during the twenty years before Boba was created. That means they are not "Ancient", The Mandalorians are "Ancient". Death Watchwas created when Vizsla and a fewothers left from JasterMereel's command. In fact Vizsla killed Jaster some 20 years before Jango's cloning.Jango was not at all happy about Jaster's death cause Jaster was pretty much a father to him since he was orphaned.

Why not just put, "Here, stop your complaints about mandalorian armor! Knock yourselves out!" instead of making up some lame story that goes against continuity altogether. Instead of Death Watch, why not something else?

Here, read this ifyou haven't so yet.

By far the most worse idea yet. The continiuty is now a hair line thin. Death Watch was wiped out long ago.

Did you take this idea from some guy who just played SW Bounty Hunter and read about Death Watch and doesn't know it's history and decided to have it in this game. It's like having a bad GM placing an army of the Sith and putting it during the time of of Episode on, and totallynot aware of the "Rule of Two" that was established by Darth Bane.

First off, Death Watch would not need to hire Black Sun for anything. Second of all, Black Sun doesn't need the money from them cause Xizor (who runs the syndicate) is uber rich. Third, Death Watch are (were, cause they all dead) a solitary band of mercenies.... MERCENARIES!!! That means they get hired by people for wars and/or protection!! Not the other way around!

And of course no one cares cause everyone has an itch for Mandalorian Armor.... MANDALORIAN!!! What is Death Watch still using mandalorian armor for, when they designed and supplied their own?

I guess it's my fault for not giving them ideas. Then again look what they did to The Crackdown.

This thread is where they got the idea. but they left out some real good stuff that would have made it better.

And these threads below are just as good.

Where are the "digiteers" that were promised?

You guys need me in your side. And I've tried to get your attention before... in a good and constructive way of course.

I think I can sum it up.

When the 'vette came out, we went up and got our butts kicked. After we'd been dumped back on Corellia, we sorta looked at each other before everyone said, almost at the same time, "Let's do it again". Which we did, even with all the annoying leg-work a 'vette trip requires. We probably ran it a dozen times since (until they upped the difficulty, at which point nobody wanted to go again).

Today we hit the DWB. I watched as everyone (in my group and others) slowly died off. I probably could have lasted for a while longer, but I just didn't want to be there. I ran out and biked back to the outpost. This time everyone said something along the lines of "I'm never going back there".

Personally, I think I'd rather run missions until I earn the 10 million I'll need to purchase one piece of the jetpack.

The last several attempts y'all have had at "content" have been pathetic. The Geonosian Lab was bad, the Corellian Corvette was worse. It appears the Death Watch Bunker is "insert negative here". What do y'all think you're doing for "content"?? I'm not sure where you think your Subscriber Base lies, but it's not with me. I've mastered (as all of my guild has) at least one elite combat profession, and many of us have played from release. We're tired of the crap engineered for the "uber player".

This new area seams to give an example to what i have been posting all along, about improper level scaling.

Since even with huge alliances and grouped together they are unable to complete the armor and things.

But then who the heck am I to say these things.

But I do want to say...I told you so.

By the way...I personally would have made this more of a covert sort of area.

I.e. Make it so players would have to sneak in...and be very careful...instead of a total linear one way path that has no way to bypass the obstacles any other way then to shoot to kill.

But perhaps in the future someone will edit this area and make it so perhaps a mission might provide a back door into the place.

But then again....I cant help in anyway with a raid on this area...since even my greatest created creature will die from one or 2 shots from anything there....Creature Level 70 means nothing in this game it seams.

Ok guess i'm with most people here.My group was only 6 but we were doing fairly well i the first couple of rooms but after that we became hung up in a hallway and mobs kept spawing one after another. We could handle the 2 mobs we initially had but 2 more came to take their place and 3 battle droids. And since this isnt instanced I swear I had at least a 10 minute lag between command and action.he devs need to remember not everyone has a broadband connection. One more thing why do the devs keep adding content for group players?Solo artists pay the same fee as everyone else but are forced to beg to join a group and if they cant find one then that particular content is pointless for them.

Super battle droids? never saw em in the original trilogy -whatever

My thoughts:

This bunker is both good and bad at the same time

good: Fun when you are with an army of campers

bad: Campers often ninja loot what items do drop

good: Fun to try and complete with a group

bad: Because it is not instanced, other players see a large group as a place to "throw away" their aggroed mobs, leaving the larger group to deal with the 5 SBDs after them so they can run through and complete quests.

good: Dungeon is large

bad: Because of the insane respawn rate, there is no way to backtrack through the dungeon and rebuff fallen players, and those who are not buffed are not useful in this dungeon. Also it is hard to navigate the dungeon as you are given little to no instruction on what to do there or WHY you are there.

good: MOBs are challenging

bad: Super Battle Droids are insanely powerful and spawn everywhere. Remove these stupid things that have no place in a Mandolorian bunker and you have removed my biggest qualm.

bad: Insane spawn rate means groups are bogged down in a single room for long periods of time.

bad: The promised loot drops have not been seen (stayed there for HOURS and all we got was one of the barrels for the new pistol schem).

bad: Battle Droids and Super Battle Droidds are out of context with the SWG timeline, and just stupid. It really takes away from the experience when a massive stupid looking droid that has nothing to do with Mandolorians runs in and starts punching you yelling "OH DEAR!" in a more flamboyant version of 3p0's voice when he gets hit.

bad: No backstory

bad: NOT INSTANCED AS EVERYONE IN THE **edit**ING COMMUNITY ASKED YOU TO DO SWG! LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE WHO PAY YOUR **edit**ING SALARIES!

bad: The attempt at including crafters in a combat dungeon was an ill-concieved idea that serves only to drive people away from this dungeon. It's hard enough with a full group fighting all the SBDs. It's harder when instead of another combatant you have an armorsmith running for his life through the highest level dungeon in the game because he has no combat skills. This can't be fun for crafters just to be dragged along as luggage only to have their items decay. Plus, giving them 5 minutes to craft the coveted Mandolorian armor is *stupid*.

Way too hard for no reward. For lots of players it's hard to find 10 others who want to go too, let alone the professions required to make the armor.

My 2 credits worth:

I have not been to the DWB so this is based on the comments from here and the TC notes. I probably will NOT do the DWB because I am not an UBER player. I have a job and work for a living, so I don't have the time to sift though a large mass of players to find a good mix to join up with just to tag along to see what is happening in there.

In addtion, it appears that the bunker is a real boon to amorsmiths, between decay and battle damge they will make out like bandits. So in order to make some money off of these mini-pub I decided to gobe a Master Smuggler and make a lot of money slicing all of the NEW armor that will need to be made. BTW I did do the Warren today, first time without tripping over people. Igot DBed once, but did finish it. Now this was a fine effort and would like to see more along this line of programming. The GCW is a joke since, there will be a few players that will own everybody. These are people that WILL do the DWB and recieve there UBERNESS from there. They will also control the majority of the credits in the game since they will sell the excess partsfor HUGE sums (remember Hologrinding).

I will have to give this dungeon an A for effort but; a total failure for FUN, since VERY few people will reap the benefits of the DWB and flaunt it in everyones faces ( See comments on people able to do the Corvette regularlly and reaping HUGE sums of money in)

Here's an idea for the Star Destroyer quest:

Make it a puzzle-based base raid. Make sure, however, that you can complete objectives without certain professions.

Give a goal and, like KotOR, give you multiple ways (in the same INSTANCED dungeon) to solve the problems in your path.

Have Smugglers be able to slice the computer systems with puzzles for encryption codes and actual menus.

Have BEs able to mess with things in the scientific sections. Have Doctors able to use the medbay for rebuffing if it's unlocked. Have Droid Engineers able to salvage droids for parts (can you say 1) helper droids and 2) DROIDEKA CRAFTING!).

Let Commandos place shaped charges on doors. Let Bounty Hunters intimidate low-level officers into giving up information. Let Pikemen jam their weapons in trash compactors to hold them open! DIANOGA BATTLE!!!!

Let weaponsmiths be able to enable guns in the armory so you can use them. You can chose basic-level weapons that will protect your weapons from decay while still not sucking or get, at random, enough special weapons for the entire team. Special spawns are based on titles up. Non-combatants get components or enhancers for their professions and combat gets either a new schematic or a random-stat loot version of the new weapon.

Squad Leaders not only give their boosts to the team but intimidate the enemy, say for an AR-level drop or significant HAM reduction. Rangers can stay dirtside and set up a camp because a star destroyer isn't wilderness (or maybe there can be some special animals from the science section that a team of a Ranger and a CH can tame). Ooo, idea.... BE makes uber new critter, Ranger traps it, CH tames it. All very difficult to do, but it makes a really nice pet and it's unique.

give each player an NPC raider that can be taught like a pet. An SL gets five of them.

And finally... make it so that a second group can join in as the other side in the conflict! Why are imperials going to a star destroyer? To stop the pirates and rebels!!!!!

Let Armorsmiths get the schematic for faction armors here, but they are EITHER: limited use and easy to make OR permanent use and requires loot.

The Science wing can also have a section for Medic-types to craft enhanced stim components.

Finally, make it untimed, but unless you're stealthy (use a smuggler or something) you get random patrols that will come in and stop you from camping. Unless you have a doctor to revive you, once you die, you're out of there.

Instead of making uber-buffed enemies, make them have 10k HAMs and wear player-quality armors. Tough ones wear stun 90% composite, for example. Make it feel something like a PVP battle. Make the weapons the same way and increase the special usage.

That's just a small taste of how the ISD could be fun without uberbuffed enemies.

This whole Death Watch Bunker is ridiculous. You gave us the geonosian cave, which was too hard, then followed that with the Corellian Corvette.

Those two attempts at "content" were not geared for most of your subscribers. Now the Death Watch Bunker is engineered for a smaller segment of your population. I am a master of more than one elite combat profession, as is most of my guild. We find these attempts at "content" to be laughable, and feel that you're gonna have to do better to keep the "Middle Class" from defecting and going to games such as World of Warcraft.

Please find your center and give something to the middle class.

The DW Bunker is no doubt very hard. The DEVS should tweak a few things to make it slightly easier for hardcore gamers.

Thing is this is one of the few VERY hard things in the game that will keep someone coming back just because it is hard. There are alot of dungeons in the game that are easy and people can just sit there and farm.

So yes, this needs to be adjusted, but not much. This place shouldnt become a farm for everyone and the special rewards shouldnt be able to be looted by everyone so that 1/4 of the people playing the game end up with this special armor - in which case it just ends up like composite.. At 1st only the people who really worked at it and could afford it had composite.. now everyone has it.. its very boring.

Alot of people feel they should be able to get it just because they play the game. You have to get it because you earned it and found a way to do something others could not.. You gotta work for it..

Please make it a more practical and yet please dont make it anywhere near fort Tuskin. In Star Wars all these people never went to such dangerous places. It should be for the elite.. Jango Fett nearly matched Obi Wan.. but he still wasn't as good.. Still Jango Fett would have no problem dispatching most other classes..
