This post is mostly a gripe and I've almost quit twice...but keep comming back in hopes thats somthing would have been done aboutthese few itemsI wrote in this Postwould be fixed...but still nothing. So here is in hopes Somone in the Higher Up's is reading this and Taking notes. Sorry about my spelling


1.) People have told my friend and I one of the biggest things is that everyone should be able to attack everyone weather in a faction or being neutral when I said "well thats why they put in dueling" the response is usually "In Starwars do they ask if it is ok if he or she can duel them?" I had nothing to say... and they had a point. Now I know what you are going to say " The reason we did this is so that people will not attack the smaller guys that just started the game and this will prevent this from happening"....This is true however this limits the game we have found people still like the dueling aspect of the game but just that it is more of a one on one fight so noone can interfere... but most players that I've talked to would prefer the attacking everyone idea better.This is where you'd end up saying somthing to the effect of " Well what about the guys that constantly attack the smaller guys and are being harrassed by these other players." There is a way to counteract this problem letting neutral players to be like faction players allowing them to hire thugs to protect themselves but these would only be available to neutral charactors kinda like a benifit for being neutral. also hiring maybe a player Bounty Hunter or Mercenary could also be good idea and would definatly broaden then professions some.



2) Some have mentioned that adding another handgun should be added to the game so charactors can use two pistols just like in the movies Example: Jango Fett if this requires makeing the damage of handguns smaller this would be acceptable.


3) This was another big issue with alot of charactorsis the fact that there wasnt enough Armors added to the game and everyone looked like everyone else it was said another six armors added would give it some more flavor .


4.) Also I still maintain That every and all droids that are being use in gameplay both pets and not pets should be allowed to be bought and used by the player charactor ...if the moneys right that is. I mean this is Starwars and everyone and thing has it's price.


But My Biggest Beef is still with the Bounty Hunter ...NowI know there are alot of People out there who say Bounty hunters are too strong but thats bunk. This Profession is totally upsetting and is in need of a SERIOUS andI mean Serious revamp.

1) This is a Profession of Fear, Money, Recognition, and most of all Respect, both In and out of combat. This is a profession that should make anyone tremble... And make Jedi go "Hmmmmm Now I might have a problem" not " Ahhh it's just another Bounty Hunter." and when this statement comes from a common player this is very very disturbing.I mean did any of you guys watch the movies and or read anything about bounty hunters? Bounty Hunter 's should almost be a match to Master Jedi ... whenI say this I mean when the charactor has reached Master Bounty Hunter ...This is whereI hear Player Charactors saying NO FRIGGIN WAY! I again Disagree.. JangoFett took onMaster Jedi ..and whyI think he lost wascause, If you got trampled by a Huge animal likeit was shown in the moviethen attacked by a Master Jedi right after with noreal time togather your berrings you'd die too!Now I know Some are gonna say....But Jango was a mandalorian warrior he is an exception ... I'll give you that, however Boba Fett was never a mandalorian and at Bobas age do you really think he got alot of Mandalorian training?...probably not, and he had to make do with what he learned. And in saying this...Boba took on only the Strongest of allllllll Jedi which was Luke Skywalker,which made Master Windu... look like a Padawan!!And I still think he did pretty good.In shortit comes down to that Bounty Hunters in this game should never need to be in a group and should be the only charactor to actually do Hardgroup missions Solo!Does This Unbalance the gameplay....Heck Yes!! Just as it should. Just like Jedi should too. A bounty hunter should be able to take on a Jedi and have a real shot at beating him one on one.



2.)AnyPlayer Charactorwhose has been or currently are Bounty Hunters... is that this charactor definatly got the short end of the stick!! Also in my friend and I's humble opinion we too agree.Not because of the time to get to the Novice skill but infact that one is forced to be a Ranged Style Most Playersagree it should be very hard to be a bounty hunter infact they like the idea how hard it is to be one. However they disagree on the skills to be a bounty hunter and the skills when you are bounty hunter. When we've talked online to Players have said and asked " why do you need scout skills really? it has nothing to do with bounty hunting ." In response I said "well you probably need the trapping skill and hunting skill" they retorted with "hunting and trapping come on get real! those are skills you would use for maybe a ranger, not a ." and you know they are right again I myself saw no reason for Master Scout even though I could see How Master Brawler should have been added instead..I know the reason you put this there was for the time and boring parts of Master Scout to deture people that didnt wanna take the time to complete master scout to be a Bounty Hunter. More so I have found talking to other playersthat also Investigation takes to long,and therefore alot of players wont do bounty hunter sayingthat " Bounty Hunter shouldnt be this hard to get."ThisI disagree with seeing that it is a true bounty hunter skill. And will weed out the little wannabe Bounty Hunters. Remember The Path to isnt supposed to be easy.


3.)Well everyone likes their charactor different and is no exception if all are the same, by utilizing guns how are they different? by Armor alone? Even in Empire Strikes Back when Princess Leia was Boussh a according to the books and materials that I have read Boussh relied more on his pike rather than a gun. In the game there are other bounty hunters out there that could be fairly good at using a gun but could be a Master at using a pike,axe or sword. This should be the choice of the . and allowing him/her the oportunity to be the way they'd like to be. Then being stuck as a gun Bounty hunter that isnt original at all ...and I know thats not what your company was not striving for. Not being Orginal


4.) Last but not Least ...Bounty Hunters should not be using Lightening Cannon!!!!! A Bounty Hunter is supposed to be like a James Bond charactor a lot of cool gadgets to take on their opponents.A gadget for every and all circumstances and if you dont have one should be able to make one. Remember Jango and Bobas only real heavy weapon was the rocket on his Jet Pack. And For Gods Sake make Genades and Thermal Detinators worth using....In the Movies everyone crapped their pants when Boussh brought out the Thermal Detinator. and in the game your like ahhhhhh what amI gonna use that for?..... all I got to say about grenades and such is when your out of the blast range you May have a chance to surviveotherwise no matter how big orstrong your Charactor is BOOM your oatmeal ! With the exception to armored chars but if you are armored you should survive but with some serious problems like stunned for a really really long time.


This Game it supposed to reflect the starwars universe correct? With all these elements that my friend andI along with all the Many Fans whom love this universe and have been devoted enough to have put themselvesin this forum to be herd, we hopeto have changes made to the game. For the better of the game not to cause problems we only hope that you take heed to what we've been writing and hope that you hear what we the players point out to you.

I know people have been there, but how many? 5? 10? 150? The point isn't that people in the books, (which, most aren't even canon... Only the Timothy Zahn books, are authenticated by George Lucas [which happens to be why alot of books contradict each other directly]) But the point still remains that there really is no good reason to go there. It holds no tactical advantage, any mineral resources it has are worthless (as deemed by Imperial surveyors), and the organic resources are too dangerous to be worth harvesting when there are better ones on much safer worlds. Do you think Luke would just up and decide that Dagobah would be a nice place to visit on a whim? No, he wouldn't have even considered of going there if Obi-wan hadn't told him to go there. People shouldn't WANT to go to Dagobah... the universe deems it worthless.


If Dagobah were to be released, the only reason would be to have Yoda in the game... and if he were, he would become the main prestige target to all of the imperial players. They will cascade down upon poor Yoda's head like so many rain drops. There will be so many that even he can't fight them back. As a little factoid, if the Empire ever knew Yoda was still alive and was there on Dagobah, they would simply have brought in an Imperial class Stardestroyer, and layed waste to the entire surface of the planet in under 24 hours. They would have eventually got him from 500 kilometers up.


By asking and fighting for the release of Dagobah based on the creatures that can be found there, I can't believe that you TRUELY want it for the creatures, due to the fact that there are other worlds with similarly dangerous, (or even more dangerous) creatures. The only thing that Dagobah has over Kashyyyk or Kessel, is Yoda.


Maybe I seem like I don't like the movies or stories much, but the truth is I'm a SW purist. I do NOT want to see Yoda released in this game, (I even think they went, and are going to far with Jedi). After the game time evolves past the time of RoTJ, then I don't care about Dagobah any more, cause, then it truely will be about the creatures, and not Yoda.

"Cities: I would like to see all the decorative buildings have an interior, same with the houses there and all the halls. They should be rentable by the month, so players can rent the houses and apartments that are in them. Many a time i have seen places sitting empty for just taking up space. It would be nice. Very nice. Have vendors in there, stores, etc. This concept would be amazing. "


Really neat idea! It has been suggested several times..maybe someone some day might listen The present urbanisation of the game ..well, it stinks. To many ghost-town playerstructureswith (mostly empty) Vendors. Indeed, there ought to be a fine for empty Vendors.


Also, make the big Concrete Heaps (like Coronet) smaller and neater..make them pretty towns. AND KEEP THOSE STINKING AND BURNING VEHICLES OUT OF THE CITY, ANY CITY- well at least out of certain areas - like cantina doors and bazaars and space port entrances.


There are (in my opinion) also to many entertainers in cantinas - well, at least in Coronet and sometimes in Theed. This is a pitty since there are nice outdoor venues where they could play and entertain. Indeed, entertainers ought to be able to play anywhere in any city (and still get exp and being able to heal) - sort of basking. It would give more life to the city to have the Bards in other places then only cantinas.


Well, that was my imput. Have been playing this game for almost a year now and left at one stage in disgust but came back recently cause of the neat graphics, and because of old friends. Haven't found better ones anywhere else.

No they do not have a point! If this game ever gets all PvP then 3/4 of all players will leave. This is a role player game and one ought to have the choice of not fighting in the War. It is a big, big galaxy and there is so much more to it then WAR and KILLING.

Indeed, the cloning process is to easy and the penalty for dying is not harsh enough. In EQ you loose a lot of exp and sometimes even a level. Also you need to go and recover your gear. No insurence in the arcane world lol .

Thank you Sony for letting us participate in the largest online paying beta-test for the past year. SWG is soon to be where it should have been a year ago. Just hope it is not too late.

We need more Star Wars music in game 24/7 and new battle music, not just the half a second mp3 that play during a certain time or when entering a planet.

More areas where vehicles cannot go.


I really enjoy my speederbike and swoop but when I ran from Theed to Moenia at launch I had much more fun. Running about constantly and exploring. Now, its jump on bike, autorun, alt-tab to forums. I would love to see areas or even new planets with restrictions on vehicles. Even stating that "electrical storms" on this planet cause many vehicles to malfunction rendering many places unexplored. A true explorers paradise.


HUD save feature and toolbar lock feature.


Lets face it.. SWG can be a buggy buggy game. I have had several hardlocks or crashes that when I return my hud has reset to first install state. All of my toolbars now have to be reset and I have to rearrange my compass rose, chat boxes, toolbars and all that. Granted it doesnt happen often but after one patch I remember it was quite frequent. I suggest a text file that will save position of all hud items and record what macro is on what toolbar and have it saved. Also, allowing a feature to lock toolbars so my itchy clicking finger doesnt constantly move around a macro deleting whatever is near it.

Not sure if this idea has been brought up before but I think neutrals should be able to attack both imperials and rebels. Playing as a neutral really sucks because when your friends reguarly go out hunting rebels or imps you can't really join them.


As a neutral you should be able to attack either and get some sort of faction standing acordingly. These FPs wouldn't be spendable but if you had say 1000imperial you would be attacked by rebels and vice versa.


As far as PvP goes a neutral player should recieve tefs but be able to recieve either. If you have an imp tef you wouldn't be able to say, buff an overt rebel until your tef had worn off.


If you went overt you would be neutral until you attacked somebody. If you attack a rebel you become an overt imp and vice versa until you go covert again. Or you could make it so that a neutral player could go overt by talking to any recruiter and would obviously be an overt member of that recruiter's faction.


This idea needs to be expanded abit but I definately think neutrals should be able to join up with imps or rebels and battle along side them, could kind of be considered a hired mercenery (without the pay,lol)

I have 3 requests that i will be happy to see:


1) Add pavimentation for player cities


2) Add Coruscant


3)This is the most important, revamp the quests and loots of other planets like u did some months ago for Dantooine and Tatooine.

I'm sorry if this has ever been mentioned or not, I don't have the time to check this or many of the other forums due to the fact that I work 14-24 hour shifts at a time and only get a couple of days off a week. Those days are usually used doing catch up on personal matters, or of course logged in playing SWG.


I would like to see a "Roleplaying" Server, that might be strictly enforced as a server set asside for only those who wish to play the part, or those who wish to PVE when applicable. I just get annoyed by those who run around making statements such as, "Dont' you hate people who think this is actually Star Wars." And persons who choose to name their character, "Anti-Roleplayer" and "McChicken Sandwich" These are fine for persons who just want to use the game as what it is....a game. But for those of us who grew up watching Star Wars, and who just like to get away from RL and immerse themselves in a fantasy role where they can be the ruthless bounty hunter, or the daring smuggler, or the Tyrant Imperial, or the Heroic Rebel leader. It would be nice to be surrounded by those same type characters. When I hear someone come up to me and say something like, "why did you waste all those faction points on that stupid Stormtrooper armor." I want to say, "why did you waste that perfectly good wad of George Washingtons (or equivilant, for those of you outside the U.S. on this game." I was happy when I bought this game, I was excited because I could actually play a character who was in the Star Wars Universe. But when you have rebel Oppressors, and Imperials in hiding. maybe it should be a Post ROTJ game instead of pre-ESB. I know this is possible due to the fact that those who enjoy roleplaying characters in the rebellion actually play like the Empire is in charge, and that they are in hiding. But those who run around as Overt Rebels killing every Imperial they see, NPC or not, it ruins their roleplay. I know because I have a rebel character or two myself. It would satisfy many of us Roleplayers if we could have a server of our own, it would intensify our desire if you could create a way to transfer our characters to the Roleplayer Server, however that might be asking too much, atleast in such time.


Just a thought, sorry it took so long to say.

This will get buried, but I can hope somebody will read.

Read up on "rewarding" behavior. The behaviors which most effectively reward behavior are unpredictable. Slot machines act this way. They are known as the most addictive form of gambling. What else acts that way? Loot drops. You never know what you will get from a loot drop. Everquest knows this. This is part of their winning formula. Your population wants this, too. They want their hit.

Certain rewards are not very compelling. Getting credits and hides is not compelling. Making X sales per day is not rewarding. They are rewarding, in a paycheck kind of way. But they aren't compelling.

This is all simplified. You're better off to hire a behavior psychologist for a day to come in and talk to you. Or read a psych text book (which is far more boring).
