TH really dropped the ball on this thats all i can say. SOE lied and they continue to do stupid mistakes. For thos that say we are whinning and bickering you are all noob players anyway the veterans who been playing this game since release deserver some love and we are getting shafted yet again. This system is horrible and is not only bad for the ex grinders of a system which was perfectly fine but now is even worse for casual players so grow a brain and excersice it. WE been lied to, cheated, and manipulated again and again and again so why should this time be any different. All i know i bet alot of people did leave and alot more people went to otehr games like COH and alot preordered copies of WoW. IF this si signs of wahts to come to supposdly help everyone we are in a world of trouble. I got no hopes for combat revamp but if JTL flops this game is going down the drain with the SOE development team that put it together as simple as that.

They have ALWAYS said that there would be equitable compensation for the people who were hologrinding, ... and the system they set up IS FAIR! The free branch unlocks adequately rewards the people for grinding the professions, or have you forgotten that A LOT of people hologrinded even before it was announced that the system to unlock would change. It wouldn't be fair to give those people the shaft just so YOU could feel better about yourself for being a little further behind them in the race to get a Jedi slot.

ITs just annoying! All this waiting is a conspiracy to get more money from us! hehe

i dont really care who grinded what or how many professions you mastered .. i dont care if i have to wat 3 days or 3 years to visit the village .. heres what i do care about....

i have mastered 3 profs, and only started playing with pub 9 after playing eq since beta .. and yes the boards looked just like hese do now but things get better. I have visited every location on the planet and did jabba theme, rebel theme, and nyms theme. Have mark of intellect. I was surging with the force when i logged in today . I went and did warren today and those 2 badeges pushed me to glowing.

Now .. like i said i dont care about who did what or how long they did it for .. ALL I WANT TO KNOW IS WHERE DO I STAND AND WHAT TIMETABLE I CAN EXPECT TO SEE TILL I DO GET TO SEE THE VILLAGE. doesnt matter to me how long .. i just what to know how long up front. TH , shed some light please .. thank you

well to me this is why it takes 1-3 days.......

this is a turn based game, yes? the main factor that lags out this game is the turns.....all the turns get stacked and if a zone lags they stack and have to catch up but in the order theat they were done......

the one to three days is prolly because they cant have the old man spwn at more than 1 place at once and has to wait for 1 person to be done before he can appear to a different person...

either that or they just havent patched him out yet so....

I guess what bothers me the most if TH chooses to not answer the important questions. There are things on here that have been asked numerous times, that are deserving of a dev response..yet silence....Like I said before, I will say it again.....I am very disappointed

You macro'd and clicked the mouse a million+ times over the course of 25+ professions, over the course of months, yet when faced with the choice of sitting down and doing nothing for a few days to wait for your turn to pick up your prize, or quitting the game, you say you'd rather quit the game? Over waiting for 1-3 days? Riiiight.

It's clear you're not going to throw away all of the time you spent grinding professions over a 1-3 day wait. And if you really are going to quit, dude, you must be the biggest idiot alive.

You also say there's NO communication between the Devs and the community? Now I KNOW you're an idiot. What the heck do you think this whole thread was started on? What the heck do you think Thunderheart has been doing answering questions within this thread? There was A LOT of communication going on. Thunderheart communicated A LOT about what was going on in the initial post. In one post, TH dispelled all the rumors circulating around the Village. Think about it, if he didn't tell us how they separated people into lines to get into the Village, there would be idiotic rumors, conspiracy theories, etc., about why only a segment of the population were being visited.

Personally, I think you whiners are a bunch of crybabies; and if you DO cancel your account over something as silly as this, then it would be a GREAT service to the community for you to leave.

Damn straight man! I do not like waiting 1 - 3 days but compared to the time i've spent on this freakin game i think i can handle it.

If only i coudl've gotten paid just $5 an hour for the time i've spent in the game...ahh, i'd be sooo rich

Hihi everytime when the DEVs say something new we got massive whiners.
Hey all haters think about it... Its a technical problem - not ALL ppl who have qualified for the village can go to it cuz were 2 much and the server will crash if we all go there - calm down plz

everytime the same thing - in 2-4 weeks the com forget that the village excist just wait a bid and do some missions or go grinding... i have no problem with that - only that we got this news so late

You are more than likely in that last group to visit the village. The timetable? He DID givea timetable. He said the timetable would be based on how quickly people shuffled through the Village and completed their quests. They are watching the Village metrics closely to best determine how many people should be allowed in everyday. The Patch has been live for a little over 12 hours now, how do you expect them to gather metrics if it hasn't even been a day?

If you really want some kind of timetable, the best thing to do is use your head. If the first group are the people who unlocked betwen Patch 9 and 10, then the only business they have to do in the Village is to complete their Exit Quests which only consists of killing one Boss NPC. That's it. Then they're done, then the next group comes along. I estimate 1-2 days for the first group, and then 1-2 days for subsequent groups.

Really, you'll only wait at the most, for 1 week.

I swear, you people just need to take a chill pill and start thinking with your heads.
