I am on the verge of quitting now. I have been searching for 6 days/ 40+ hours. Nothinig. Got on 3 of those days at server reset. I have had 12+ rangers, 20+ pps helping me look for these things and offered a 2 million cred bounty. This is becoming ridiculous. I have followed the migration of Grauls, killing every one in sight and hanging out for a respawn. I have sent several tix to CSR, they have done nothing at all. The spawns rarely exist, and I dont have time or have an interest in being on playing this game 24/7. I was one of the first Guardians and have waited for over 4months to be dealt this crap. Im over it, enoughs enough.
If you guys have more wps or any other advice pass it up, or Im ready to hang up my saber and move on. This is beyond fun, it just makes me angry and frustrated that this is whatyou guyshave come up with for our Knight Trials. These arent Knight trials, more like uber Ranger trials.

I have to agree here. On busy servers in particular, natural spawns are rarer than England winning the Football World Cup.
Planets such as Dantooine and Lok, you are unlikely to see the Knight Trial mobs unless you login at 5am after a server reset, and I don't remember Insomnia being a prerequisit for the Trials :/
I've just done a 12 hour stint looking for an Enraged Kimogilla spawn, I spent 5 hours lastnight, we had other people searching in other areas at the same time, so about 85 man hours looking, and not one single spawn.
I cannot see the fun, or the challenge, in running around in ever decreasing circles, in the hope that the server crashes & gets a restart so that soemthing spawns in the 10mins it takes for the server load to cause everything to despawn again.
Players on quiet servers may have issues with finding enough overts to kill in order to progress in the FRS, but they are at least more likely to find the mobs they need to get IN the FRS in teh first place.
I have seen posts from players on servers such as Tarquinas, where it took 2 days to do the trials, on Chimaera (and servers such as Bria, eclipse etc) you are lucky to do ONE part of the trials in 2 days. It can take 4 or more days per mob type, which is absolutely ridiculous.
Unless you are unemployed, or an insomniac, you have very little chance of progressing in the trials
The way this SHOULD have been done, is something similar to the way that the Scythe Quest works. A series of smaller mission quests, and you get a Treasure map, you follow the mapo, search for the treasure, and then the mobs spawn one after the other.
This would negate the problem of those on busy servers being gated from progressing, unless they login at 5am.

The goal of jedi template diversity you discussed as a reason for limiting jedi skills to 2 1/2 trees has been utterly missed. The overwhelming majority of jedi are focuesd on the saber and enhance trees, because those two trees are substantially overpowered, especially in combination. A jedi with forcerun 3 and extremely high saber block is near unkillable unless he does something stupid, and is able to swoop in like a vulture, pick off the weak, and swoop out of combat to heal up and come back later. This problem needs to be addressed.
In addition, the defense and powers trees are woefully underpowered. A jedi defender should be the hardest character in the game to hit; instead, we have lower melee and ranged defense than most regular PvP players (not taking into account saber block, of coures, but that's not in the defense tree), decent toughness which does not work against other jedi, and decent state defenses but nothing astonishing. If saber accuracy is increased, the defender tree becomes even more underpowered, since other jedi already hit us at least 70% of the time. Defender needs a dodge skill added (right now a pure fencer with no additional skills is a much better defender than a force defender), should cap melee and ranged defense, and the higher of jedi toughness or saber toughness should be used to determine the melee toughness of a jedi against another jedi.

Will get moaned at constantly for this but here goes.
I beleive that the removeal of Jedi TEF was a mistake.
Now everywhere I go to Jedi are sat in dungeons farming XP at a stupid rate due to the high damage on their weapons and the speed of them.
I went to the geonosian caves and in total counted over 40 Jedi, each outdamaging any true player and just resting on spawn spots.
This to me ruins the game as it causes me to go through a relatively 'hard' dungeon when soloing to a walk in the park, as all the harder mobs are either farmed or killed whilst following you if you walk near to Farmer Jed the Jedi!
The removal of the TEF has ruined the feel of the game for me, as in this time line, 40 jedi would not converge on the same place at all, hell there probably weren't that many Jedi alive in that time line, although this is possible.
I can do Jedi missions as a BH, but find it near impossible unless going in a large group or knowing from witnesses, or the Jedi themselves where they are due to the fact that the Droids couldn't find snow in Antarctica!
I'm now limited to what I can do - went to kill Acklay for bones for a stun baton, bam, 2 Jedi burst run in, starts swiping, outdamages 5 of us, fair enough I say, go walkabout and the same thing happens the next time I tried a few days later.
yes this was possible before, but at least I could then go, oh look, Jedi and take a swing back!
The Jedi death system is better this way, because PermaKill was a tad too harsh, lol.
robes, good idea, but let them wear something else, weaker armour types maybe, with restrictions to LS use or Force powers whilst using them
I'm not a Jedi player but I hear this day in day out through player Jedi, BHs and in these very forums.
Please reconsider some of the updates you made in Publish 9

Well - I never thought I would say this because there are a good many things right about publish 9 - but the entire Jedi think is now completely out of hand. The occasional player (read those that have a life outside the game) have been reduced to jedi target practice with no hope of re-establishing any meaningful position within the grander scheme of the new world order. We have gone from the starwars legend of a few thousand in the galaxy to one at every corner, at every space port, at every POI during prime time, waiting to fell the unsuspecting. I will not pay for a game in which I am simple living target practice for a power gamer. Its that simple. Further the story line has drifted so far from the original that its lost a great deal of what made it special.

You *must* roll back FRS xp to compensate for the xp illicitly gained by exploiters who farm overt members of their own faction. Some punishment for the users of such a blatant exploit would be nice, too, but I have little hope of that. But you have to roll back their xp, and if it means rolling back all FRS xp earned since Publish 9, so be it.

So here it goes a couple of things on Patch 9
TWO WORDS: Death xp buffer: Okay i understand the whole goal is to prevent a BH JEDI money exploit but make the payout like 50k to 100k for their missions and put the death buffer of like 3 with a week to decay like the pre patch system. I has been proven over and over that the BH's will hunt the jedi for only 15k. and losing 200k per death and getting ganked myself last night after one guys follows me around and when i get to spot where i can lose him i get ganked by 5-6 others while stepping away from keyboard to take care of something in RL. Additionally one of the BH's seemed to think that killing me only cost me 30k of Xp anyone know why he would have thought that? So he apologized afterward because he had no idea i costed jedi so much XP
This is to support the casual players like myself who i believe make up alarge number of the players,I cant take 2-3 hours to get the xp that it takes <5 min for someone to take away. I need of the casual players should be more important than the few that would exploit it, and if payout was less then it would prevent to much distruption of the ecomomy of the game. This can only be a win win for everyone: If i do die I can at least either take chance (by my choice) to keep getting xp, or not play for a few days to at least no I will not lose any xp from it. Therefore I am happy therefore you the devs and sony still get paid because happy players dont cancel their accounts. I already know people that are not renewing their accounts because they are in the xp hole and have lost desire to continue to playing just to try and get back to zero xp

Also a BUG: After I do get to a Doc to heal i gave the Doc a TEF long after i had cloned this is a bug maybe dev you didnt know about.

If there is Jedi cities they should be placed on planets like Darthmore and Lok. The Jedi is in hiding, and a bloody city would be noticed on a more civilized planet.

DarkJedi should not be able group with anyone except DarkJedi, because the Imperial Troopshunt all Jedi not only Light Jedi. Or the DarkJedi should not gain any FR Points if he didn't kill his target allone.
The way DarKJedi gain their FR Points now is like this: A DarkJedi is grouped with 3-4 normal imperial players thease players hide themselfs until the DarkJedi gets attacked. Then the other players who are grouped with the Jedi attack the same target ... or the players attack the opponent and the DarkJedi comes along und make the DB. The result is that allmost nobody is overt.
