Thread: Publish 8.2 Feedback: Death Watch Bunker
My only comment about this would be, is this a sign of the new direction of the game? I can understand adding in a few very high level adventure area's. But is there any chance you might add in some normal things that can be done by the average to high average player. I think the difficulty is abit out of reach for most people. The basic fact is that you can't get a group to do this with the way the game is. Why would they, the exp sucks because the damned things are resistant to almost everything except for electric, the time it takes to kill things also makes it crap. NO REAL LOOT to be found, I was there for 3 hours i looted a total of 2800 credits, while i didn't die, it still cost me 10k for the buff that i used while i was there, not to mention the food I ate probably another 10k maybe, and the damage to my armor / weapons (from use). Cloning fee and insurance another almost 5k. All the travel expenses what maybe 10k yavin to tat to endor. So that brings the cost of this little outing for me to be somewhere around 50k maybe. Now if it was an enjoyable time, i wouldn't care, but to me the SBD's they are just too boring, they take way too long to kill, you can't possibly progress in this place because by the time you kill something 3 more bigger things ahve spawned on you. So why would a group of people do this, when they can just get into a solo group and do an average of 4 to 500k in the same time in missions. With less costs out of poket to them, this is why the game is messed up, there is no reason to make things ungodly hard for the people who try to explore the content of the game, for the amount of time it would take me to complete this dungeon i'm sure that I could spend it running missions and make more then enough money to pay for whatever i want in an auction of some crazy gamers that found some kind of exploit or loopwhole to make it through. The armor probably will be out of my reach on this but i'm can't use it anyway.
Well, I didn't actually come here to rant, I just would like an answer if this is going to be the new standard for content added to the game? Will every new dungeon added be filled with droids that are untouchable to the average player? Or (I hope) is this new content (DWB and the Corvette) just a part that was added to try to give something to those extreme players? I just hope that all future dungeons won't be this hard.

I've been to the bunker twice today. First time, I didn't know one thing about it other than new loot. Got there, fought some of the Super Battle Droids and almost went through a chestplate and helmet before I discovered that I couldn't get into it without talking to an NPC on Tat and/or Corellia. Later in the day, I went and talked to the persons necessary and went back. Got in, grouped with some people and got in the second main room where you needed to kill an NPC for the key. Looted the key and got in the door, proceeded to kill for two hours. Insane hams, and damagegiven by the NPC's...a great challenge, without a doubt. I somehow got tef'd in the spam and got triple incapped by an Imperial PC that took it upon himself to disease/poison/fire me while I was feigning death (wondering how I got a TEF). Took the whole fun out of my trip, and it reminded me of the early holo craze at the Weapons Depot when Imperial PC's could kill the Storm troopers and target any tef'd Rebels. My suggest to SOE for these types of fun cave/dungeons.
MAKE THEM INSTANCED!!!
Make it like the Corvette but without the two hour run around before hand...
you wouldn't feel like sharing the locations of the NPC's you have to talk to on Tatooine and/or Corellia to gain access?
no one is willing to share this info and that's really annoying

The harder it is, the better for hardcore players...if you an't willing to put in the time then SWG isn't for you! Things is no fun being too easy!
Dumbest. Post. Ever.
I'm so tired of all you people who think that because you have no life other than SWG that everything should be made for you. Too bad the Devs apparently think the same way.
Again...way to hard.....I did not even want the armor...just looking for something new to do, but DAMN!!
Battle Droids (Roger Roger) are far too powerful.....suppose to bet the scrub of the bunch.
Super Battle Droids....insane.
The Bounty Hunters...not too bad.
Anyways, after getting whipped around in a group of 20+ players with 3 jedi and not getting one loot item, it is no longer any fun.

These were made for the elite not for the weak. They promised 2 put new areas 2 the game that are for non-powergamers.
Just got back.. all I gotta say is you have to be f'ing kidding me with this crap. This isn't fun. Its complete overkill. You cant kill the stuff fast enough to avoid the next spawn. You need the whole server to go just to get to the first bottom room. Just like the Corvette once was enough for me. I wont be going back. Looking like Boba Fett isn't that damn important.
