100 FP seems fair

Generally, when I run a factional mission I get 50 to 60 faction points. If you run to missions at a time, it generally takes 30 minutes, and you would get 100-120 faction points.

I think the loss of 30 minutes of game time a day to get faction insurance is the TOP END (since I play 2-3 hours a night, 30 minutes of time is a huge amount), I would say faction insurance should cost 100cr to 200cr.

If you price it much higher, you will be causing players like myself to spend over 1/3 their playing time just trying to avoid decay...that isn't fun anymore.

Why would I want to spend my faction points to have a 24 hour non decay period?

Here's why not. BECAUSE I ONLY PLAY FOR A HOUR OR TWO AT MOST PER DAY! You can bet that I won't be pvping for those two whole hours. Pay for 24 hours when you pvp for 5-20 minutes.... I don't think so.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. I have never been involved in pvp and I never will until the decay disappears.

What he said below. Someday, apaprently in the far-distant future, the SWG team will start to listen to its player base...but by then we'll all be customers of Blizzard or BioWare or Valve, and that player base I mentioned will only be SWG employees.

I'd say 10 or 25 fp per item to be insured. Plus normal insurance of course.

And NO, PVP insurance should NOT be available to coverts.

you will have no decay on your insured items.

Does this mean no %1 also? if 1% is removed, then I say 30 to 50 faction points. If %1 is still in effect with this system, then what is the point and am against it.

I'm sickened. More than half of you are just coming the boards to scream about getting stuff for free. You don't consider the issues at hand, balancing gameplay, maintaning the economy. You are just here to 1) get your high by talking s*** to the devs and 2) beg for free perks. It's obvious many of you don't read any posts, you just type in abusive knee jerk mob mentality posts.

Look, it's really simple. By making stuff easier to get, it devalues that stuff. All your greedly little retarded minds can think about is how great it would be if you got XYZ. You can't even think one step outside the box, and realize that if you got XYZ for free, so does everyone else, and you are back to where you started... except the universe is filled with useless piles of XYZ everywhere that's worth nothing.

If you make your deaths meaningless by removing all penalties, it makes your kills meaningless as well. Don't you get it? You're digging your own graves. PvP will become pointless. "Oh jee... I killed him for the 100th time what's the point? He just respawns for free. Maybe asking for no-decay and free insurance was a stupid idea." Well, you probably won't be intelligent enough to realize your own mistake, and just blame it on someone else.

Just STOP for one sec, stop trying to figure out how to get more for yourself for ONCE IN YOUR LIFE... try to think about how to make an interesting and fun game.

Well, that all depends. Can I purchase a second "Day Pass" before leaving the game at a reduced price so I can come back tomorrow? Also, does the "Day Pass" get me free refills on my drinks while in the game, or do I get to go to the front of the line if I show my "Day Pass"?

Click here for proof that the Devs hate Riflemen. And here's the kicker! (Seperate thread)
Making a controversial point: Ignored
Making a good controversial point: Locked
Making a great controversial point no one can argue: Thread Deleted
There are few things you can post, for everything else, there's a CSR waiting.

STOP and think for ONCE IN YOUR LIFE abouthow long it takes for the average, rules-abiding casual player to earn the 600kcr to 2 million credits for a medium-grade to high-end suit of Composite armor. Now STOP and think for ONCE IN YOUR LIFE about how rapidly that armor will decay in PvP battles.
