My biggest concern? The fun has been taken out of being a MCH. I have had this profession since the game was released. It told a lot of time and effort to get to Master and it was worth it. We have been now been reduced to zoo-handlers.

Pets don't follow, pets autostore, pets run away from combat, pets spin-twirl-or stare off into space when given the attack command, pets don't understand the /tellpet command....well, others have mentioned this multiple times in other post so it's no big surprise that pets are not working properly.

What I would like you to address honestly is what is in the future plans for MCH? or do you hope by that time MCH will become so unattractive and non-fun that the profession will implode?

I agree with all the issues stated so far. I have a concern which isn't so much of a bug as just a minor annoyance. I think that Creature Handlers should be able to sell their pets on the bazaar and on vendors just like BE pets. It seems unfair that the only way to get rid of a pet is to destroy it or trade it in person to person trade. Just a thought.

I could live with the autostoring, specials not working, pets standing on top of me and all the other problems associated with pets,

IF.... the d*mn pet would go to a NPC, attack it, and not PATH ALL OVER THE GOD D*MN PLACE!

I am no CH and I cannot call my CL10 BE pet anymore. The adjustment of the pet stats always fails and the pet remains uncallable in my datapad

Also, my "/tellpet attack" Macro doesn't seem to work anymore, the pet doesn't react. When I write "attack" in spatial, it works.

Let's not put TH down here. He has taken the time to create this thread, so that we may respond with constructive feedback. I for one greatly appreciate that.

Here is a list of what I feel are some of the critical issues I have noticed since the last release (from most critical to least).

1: Pets do not stand ground in battle. When fighting with any pet, versus any enemy they will run all over the place. This makes it very difficult to control them accurately.

2: Pets are 'auto storing' back into the datapad. Also running off the screen on occasion, forcing us to 'store' them from the datapad.

3: Pets are not responding to alot of the commands, follow and attack in particular. Pre-patch the 'cat' models would follow me on my speeder bike with good reliability. Now, it seems I have to '/yell follow' repeatedly, and 'tellpet' seems to work or it doesn't for some players.

4: Pets when called, be it Droid, Creature or NPC seem to center themselves directly on top of our avatar. This is particularly annoying for those of us that play in third-person mode.

5: Ranged attack pets seem to have more issues holding MOB aggression. Special attacks aswell, do not seem to fire on a reliable basis.

6: Lastly, as mentioned earlier in this thread, the Kaadu and Dewback mounts seem to perform their animation on an almost constant basis. This can become very aggrivating after a long period of time, also bothersome to other players.

Once again, thank you for your time in reading our issues TH. It is greatly appreciated by myself and the CH community. Even though it does not seem so at times.

just to be clear, this happens ALL the time. it is not an occasional anoying bug, it is a CONSTANT GAME STOPPING BUG.

if you're a melee class, this will constantly result in you getting agro instead of your pet. if you're a ranged class, it results in your enemies constantly running out of your range. if you persue the target you will get too far from the lair and your mission will reset itself. something MUST be done about this NOW. it has rendered the CH profession 100% useless.

My issues:

a) Pets stand inside of you...Doesn't matter what kind they are...full adults, babies, in between. All of my pets have this problem. I usually use my top 5 tanks, gurreck (lvl50), Toxic Merek Battlelord(lvl50), mature hanadaks(lvl31), Other varieities of mereks (cavern creeper (lvl40), delirious avenger, etc). But even the mountain krevol that I tamed on Naboo does it (lvl 10 or 15). All of my pets are from the wild, none of that BE crap for me. Where's the skill in that?

b) All pets flee from battle at least 90% of the time. See above list for animal types.

c) The range attacks have stopped working altogether on my mereks. The special 1 and 2 seem to be randomly working. Before the patch, I know lots of people had problems with the specials and the range attack, but my mereks almost always worked when I ordered them. Now, very rarely does any of the 3 work. I've tried it on pretty much all varieties of merek that can be tamed. TMB, CC, Assassin, Blood stained, etc....

d) While not pet related, my speederbike autostores ALL THE FREAK'IN TIME...even MORE than my pets do. That's a pain when you're tapping lairs and get aggro-ed and then notice that you're getaway vehicle is no longer in the vicinity. Bad bad bad problem. (not to mention the pet side of it).

I hope these issues are resolved soon to make what's left of CH fun to play.

1. I love my pets but they have become too effectionate. They all tend to stand grouped together and right where I decide to stop. Its not so bad if they are small but try and look around with a full grown GM or Crazed Bolma.

2. It seems to be all my pets but the worst are GM - CL35 ; Crazed Bolma - CL45

3. All my wpets tamed from the wild

1: autostoring of creature pets (very annoying whilst in fight); pets are always on top of me; running from fight like crazy
2: all lvl and all type of pets either lvl 10 rancor or a grown one, lvl 37 Blurrg (BE) or lvl 50 Blurrg (wild)
3: no matter whether wild or BE - they run and run and run and ...

it might be a general issue with pathing but i have no major problems with the pets following me when not fighting.
depending on where you hunt it might occur that pets run from a fight more often on flat grasslands like on Corelia or on hills and mountains/canyons like on Dathomir.

it could be an illusion (?) but i've kinda figured that there's less running when 2 pets are out. if there's a third called it would look for trouble elsewhere than where it is supposed to do.

as a temporary solution (until it might get fixed) to keep pets outta your field of view i'd suggest to use the formation commands.
if your creature pet doesn't have any of these just ask your neighborhood CH to teach them. there're lots of CH who don't charge for teaching so don't hesitate.

My CL52 BE Blurrg runs like mad as soon as I issue my special attack macros which consist of

/alias a1; /tellpet stalk; /echo Pet has engaged; /tellpet a1

Where "stalk" is the command to "Follow Other" and "a1" is the command to perform special attack 1. I use the alias to issue the command by typing "/a1".

While attempting to train a mount for someone, non-CH (wild) carrion spat, I could not transfer a pet to him to make room in my datapad (Wild CL8 Shear Mite Broodling). Kept getting the message that the player had too many pets. He only had 1 non-CH pet (the spat) in his datapad, and a swoop bike. Both of them were stored at the time. I tried using the secure trade window, and the transfer command.

I have my max pets, but wasn't trying to exchange the pets via the trade window, just send itdirectly to him.

A few minutes later, his friend (non-CH) showed up and transferred an already mounted Carrion Spat to him.

First of all, I have been going for CH as soon as I started playing the game, because every skill gave you +5 to creature levels, and you started at level 15. As soon as I qualified for CH, go figure, it gets nerfed and taken down to starting level 12 and +2 to creature levels a skill. Needless to say, I was a little bit torqued.
