What ever happens I would like to see these quests allow small groups of Jedi to do them together.

SWG is deficient in content and extreemly deficient in group oriented content even a year after release. I hope this is not something that gets left out of the Jedi Experience.

There are a number of things that can be done for the quest. I would suggest that the quest be done in a mannor that only one person can complete the quest without the help of others. I would also like to see the way to become force sensitive to be difficult. Sort of like getting a rare loot that is very hard to find to be used as a key to access the area to get the quests to start become force sensitive. Like a cave gaurded by incredibly powerful npc's that you have to give an item to enter. You could put the rare loot in a quest like to you with other items such as the av-21 generator and things like that that exist but are rather difficult yet not impossible to retrieve. As well as having special ways of find the cave to go to for the quest such as some sort of maps or waypoints for different objects that you find which would lead you to a specific place to find things that may help you move along in the quest. The item to get should not be able to be gotten by a person more that once. This would prevent just people going to get the item over and over again to sell it. It would be nice to make it an accomplishment other than something you just buy in the game. For anything to keep interesting there should be variations.

Can the ability to use 2 lightsabers be posable? I think it would be really cool...and if ur a force wielder can uhave punching moves if some gets close like force punch or force kick or force combo. But what i would like the most if u added dual lightsaber fighting..

I'll tell you whats a horrible idea and thats having group quests for the jedi quests. That would probablly be one of the worst things that ever happened to the game if you work it so these quests have to be done with groups. Groups would be a good idea for once you have already unlocked your force sensitivity and are among the jedi. But becoming a jedi initiate should be done by ourselves no group needed. Groups would ruin the idea of Jedi being one's personal quest. Andmostly it would just take away from the fun.

This type of business ethic continues at SOE because of their CEO, John Smedley. Little does the public know, that Star Wars Galaxies was scrapped in 2002 and redeveloped in 14 months from the ground up. In a meeting, they asked how they could get away with releasing such an unfinished product. John Smedley stated that people will buy it because it has a Star Wars name on it - and then laughed as they said they would complete the retail product (which consumers have already paid $49.99 for) with approximately 2 years of subscription revenue

I don't know if this has been asked before but I'm going to toss this idea out anyway:

Force Sensitive Character Path: Nightsisters

You can only do it if you're female and a dark force sensative type char.

Is it possible? Because I would so be a Nightsister like yesterday. Those chicks are very cool, and very stylish.

The mere concepts has destroyed the game. In Gorath i can sometimes go to a buff line and see TWO JEDI'S...then i hear jedis in the back round killing someone in three seconds....I have a feeling Gorath will just be demolished by the new publish 10.....How many people do you think are going to go do those quests....hmmmmm...EVERYONE....it will be hologrinding all over....No one will be there to build you a house.....Buff you....even Dance for you....what has our Star Wars galaxies coem too......I think they need to reinstate Perma-Death....and if the people who die and cant except whine and say I QUIT.....like 5 year kids who keep getting frozen in freeze tag...then fine...lets them quit....there will still be about hundreds of thousands of players there.....i dont even like the concept of jedi in the game at all.....It should be all NPC. Anyone in agree with my point?

Not sure if this message will still be applicable, or even read, but I believe it is the solution to most of the problems with the jedi class.

Right now, people are dependant to find a holocron to tell them which professions to master. What this means is that those who know where the holocron can be found can easily tell others, or even sell the location, to friends or people with lots of money. This is a serious problem and is a threat to the games health. What I propose is in line with the upcoming jedi revamp for publish 10, whereby you complete a quest to become a jedi. However the problem I see with this is that now instead of having only a select group of people with jedi powers, you have a whole server full of them. There should be a risk involved in becoming a jedi, and therefore, I propose the following:

You talk to a publically known jedi character. His location is not secret, therefore preventing the "elite" peoplefrom finding the location and keeping it to their friends. However, to get tothis special jedi character would bevery difficult. Now, in order to find him, you can go with a group, however once you do find him, you are no longer protected. What he does is if you accept his challenge, you go through the "trials" which is a quest that is in a specialroom that only you can access at that time. While in here, you will be asked to kill a number of difficultcreatures and preform a series of mental tasks that, if failed, will cause your mind to bedrained with each wrong answer.A way to prevent one profession from being overpowered when it comes to the trial, and therefore causing a flock, would be tomake it different for each person. Sounds easy right? What's the catch? Well, if you die during the trials, it's PD - Permadeath - your character is gone. You begin to wonder how many people would still be interested in taking the trials if when they die they would lose their character forever?

The problem? How do musicians, or weaponsmiths, or any non-combat profession get to be a jedi? That's a good question, and one that I still don't know the answer to. If you have any ideas on this, please help me out.

There is way to many Jedi showing themself on the servers right now. The scourch need to be intoduced into the game to keep Jedi hiding.

If anyone see a Jedi and report them on a central terminal in each city they recieve a small reward, let say 100 cr. A very short time after the report the scourch appear. Depending on power of Jedi this might be a few dark Jedi a slightly more power up to Vader himself and a group of dark jedi apprentices. If theJedi dont get away he loses one of his Jedi skill boxes as he is cloned (personaly I would prefer to have the fellow cloned without any Jedi skills, but that is just me). If the scourch manage to take down the Jedi the informer gets a bonus reward. The scourch should have the athority to call in any help they need if anyone helps the Jedi.

On top of this any BH should be allowed to help out the scourch and recieve a reward in proportion to how much damage the BH inflicted on any Jedi they take down.

Scorch should also make sweeps in cities from time to time, just like ST do for illigal items, and check for Jedi. This should include any player cities that are on the map.

So if you want to be safe as Jedi:

1) Keep your head down and dont show of when in towns.

2) Try to keep those vistits to civilization as short as possible. Do place your hous in a nice place away from all people, and not in a city.

3) Dont trust anyone you dont know very well, they could turn you in for the reward.
