I gotta agree... the initial concept made me snicker a bit too.
:-D
But I have seen the actual model, and it looks awesome. And the concept for the 2nd set of wookiee armor is simply amazing.
I have a feeling you will see more next week ...

When I first looked at the pick I almost cried, it looked rediculous.
But after looking at it again the only problem I really have with it is the helmet. **edit** is up with that? Two bowles put together with a slit for the eyes? It looks rediculous. Clean that up a bit and I'll be happy.
The rest of it I think looks pretty good, I was just hoping for something other than bone armor *sighs*. Anyway, more to come they said, maybe the rest will look more technological and such.
Questions though:
Will this have kinetic resists? Will they be decent for a lower-mid level armor (say 25-30% range)? And will it have at least one layer slot? Even if it doesn't have a natural kinetic resist, if we can add kinetic that would be beautiful.
All in all, I am happy. Fix the helmet, otherwise it looks good as a first armor.
Now, lets hope I don't cry when they give the stats...

Any chance that you've seen the armour that the Wookies will be wearing in Episode 3? If not It'd be great if you could get LucasFilmto show you so you could use theminSWG. Who knows you may be already doing this. I'm just asking...You're probably not allowed toanswer though.

I'm reminded of why it is I never wanted to get a wish ring in PnP DnD... Looks like the Straw man from the Wizard of Oz and a gold pit droid had a child. T hen again, maybe there is some EU stuff on Wookie Armor I'm not familiar with. Anyway, as long as it is functional I guess that is what really matters. Also, I'd never make fun of a Wookie in SWG no matter what they look like, I very much enjoy having my arms in their sockets.

It's silly, but the more I look at it the more I like it. And personally the helmet is my favorite part. It reminds me of the imperial gunner's helmet a little. (You know, the dudes in black that actually operated the Death Star's big gun.)

Actually the helmet is the funniest looking part about it. I mean come on, it looks like Dark Helmets, helmet from Spaceballs...ahaahhaah.

The helmet is the absolute worst part.
It's a combination samurai hat and trashcan lid.
The chest plate is ok though.
I've been giving the devs a lot of credit recently, but this deserves some criticism.
I think the devs need a new armor designer.
RIS armor: ugly
Bounty Hunter armor seen in game on some npcs: ugly
Wookiee armor: ugly.
Bring back the designer of wookiee clothing.
