Sorry Asgoia, but that kind of post gets us nowhere, and probably pisses some dev off that going to push us even farther back.
If you want anything to get better, try saying why it's bad, prove it with examples, and make constructive suggestions to make something happen.
Lastly, not to get you any more upset then you are, but you must be a really bad Pikeman, I've been a master Pikeman for about 6 months, and there's almost nothing in the game that I can't solo except for the highest of level creatures. We don't need to be 50x better, we just need better range mods, more polearm toughness, and some new weapons. Other then that, I think the combat balance will drop all the other professions in line where we'll do what we're supposed to do in PvP. Additionally, this conversation belongs in either the pikeman forum or the in concept thread for the Pikemans role.
Armor certifications...seems logical if weapons were to have them why wouldn't armor? That way we would see people in other sorts of armor like...well what the hellare the other types of armor? LOL
And about the PSG's I know these things are all but useless so why not make them regenerate thier condition back? a Light AP shield I would wear it if it wasn't usless in 4 hits.
1. Why not add special attacks to weapons? Instead of revamping each professions' skill tree, why not add some that are only accessible with a certain weapon equipped or certain conditions are met. ex - a tangle shot (slow) for the tangle pistols's stun dmg, a disable shot for the ion rifle that temp paralyzes machines and robots (like it's supposed to), a grenade launcher shot for a commando weapon where the skill or loadout changes the dmg type of players' choice, full auto suppresion for a carbine that affects posture change in an area, etc
2. Don't give a generic accuracy modifier for posture, make it weapon specific. Rifles should have no modifier when kneeling, give them a penalty when standing.
3. Drop the rate of fire for rifles, but give them the ability to aim and call any hit location while prone.
4. Carbines should have the best rate of fire and accuracy while moving.
5. Give pistols dual wield.
PLEASE ADDRESS THE POISON ISSUE DEVS. I hope in the combat rebalance, you balance out the fact that poison is a weapon, and should suffer the same pvp mitigation that any other weapon suffers. Right now, MCM's are totally out of balance with the other combat classes. This is killing PVP.

Any chance of just upping mission terminal difficulties? Alternatively, can you just nerf us all?
I started a wookie that now has one-hand 4, hunting 3, marskman -/-/-/2 or so, medic 2/2/1/- or so. No armor, standard player made gadaferri stick without slice or powerup, stimpack b's, no buffs or food. My default mission level is 9 or 10, but I can find 15s on, for example, the theed mission terminal I've been using lately.
The "problem" is that level 9 or 10 missions are a joke. Spin attack on lair for ~15 seconds and you're done, except for all the harvesting. The 15s are even easy, although I can't just spam spin attack to finish them.
I presume part of this is being a brawler as opposed to being a marksman, as I don't remember putting out nearly this much damage as a marksman. Being a wookie probably helps with spamming specials too, I suppose.
Please don't average mission level difficulties for groups of 2. At least give mission levels corresponding to the higher level person, if not greater.
When two people are grouped, it averages levels. This doesn't make sense. When I have help, please make missions more difficult than when I don't, rather than the reverse. I'm tired of having to un-group to get missions "my level" (which are too easy already) and then re-group so they can get missions above "there level", or having to pull out a pet to change the equation to not average.
Is averaging mission levels of a group of 2 a bug or by design?
