Devs,

I just want to take this opportunity to thank you for everything. This game has had it's ups and downs but I can't stay away. I think you have done a tremendous job with all of your updates and look forward to the future. The 'vet is awesome and the future jedi systems looks promising. I know you don't get a lot of positive feedback but this game is amazing.

I am part of a medium sized guild on Sunrunner. We use Teamspeak to communicate betweenmembers and are a very close group of friends who play everyday. I'd just like tovolunteer us for anything you may have challenges with. I.E. if you'd like any of us to test a bug on our server or help you in any other way. (SE beta) We use VoIP and are extremely organized.

Again, thank you for everything

I AGREE WITH HER.

I have 4 SWG accounts, they are for me to play with my 3kids, we do not do PVP, but because of the current forced overt, we have a choice of swiching to neutral or canceling or accounts. We in no way want to have anything to do with PVP and also want to be rebel for the same reasons a she does. It allows us to offer support in ways of healing and offering trades or merchandise and meds to the rebels that are overt. Personally we believe in what the rebels stand for. Getting a TEF is one thing, being forced overt mans the end of our day of gaming. When TEF the rebels protect us for the few minutes that we are TEF and when its gone we can go our way and enjoy the game.

To many times we hav had full buffs and were going to hunt and were forced overt and then attacked by masters that could care less that we dont PVP, even begging them to stop because we just wanted to hunt and and even put our weapons away to show them, they killed us just for the fun of it. I refuse to pay $60 a month to be treated that way and have my kids treated that way.

We use to enjoy our SWG time but nnow we find ourselves playing the X-Box, Game Cube or PS-2 or watching a movie insted of playing SWG. I am serious, last night we discussed canceling all 4 accounts.

Why make it cooperation oriented w/ other players? It should be a solo thing to increase the difficulty of the missions. If this is a new way to become a jedi through quests, it should be pretty hard, but not impossible (like the corvette, lol) Also, players might like to do this in seceret, not wanting other players to know of their jedi advancement(Bounty Hunters). If player cooperation is incorporated, it might take a while to find someone to help you. You could have player cooperation, but not make it mandatory. Make it so friends can help you if u need help, like the corvette missions. What about npc cooperation? Perhaps a few npc fighters(like stormtroopers, or pets) help you in a few missions, giving you the power to control them. That could be cooperation oriented.

Overall, i just think the grinding way is so boring, and i am very excited to suit up in my composite armor, get out my LLC,(lol, if needed) and get ready to take part in the jedi quests, cause there really isnt anything to do anymore. Cant wait!

Wouldnt it be cool if weswg used galactic time ? Plz implement a reference time system.

What about a planner with alarm ?

It's friggin hard to plan anything. I know its simple math, but even then

Hello TH.

Well, I've always thought that this game needed more sound. Like in the form of the NPC's out there. I know there's a lot of them, but it could possible be done. I know more music is being added so I won't go into that.

Voices, added tothe bubbles? That could be heard only by u when u speak prompt the NPC. That way there's no annoying chatter all the time. No spynet guys though.... Lord knows that we talk to them enough and don't want to hear them. Just missioned based NPC's. Also, U can't here them after u've finished all the quests unless u can reset it. Maybe add a mute to the npc's also? I know that could get annoying to some, a blessing for others.

Well, there u have it... Hopefully I'm not the first to think of this, so maybe it'll be on the development board sooner or later. I know it would be a lot of voices, but to be a first rate MMORPG u need to step it up.

Yeah, I agree with you, there should be an ADDITIONAL level system that makes it possible to increase Stat-Points.
It's just very sad that most of the good ideas never get read by a dev because of the amount of posts that are here.
Please, SOE, hire some people to read threads and pick out the good idea, I want to know that there is someone listening to me.
I really think SWG has a great potential.

I strongly disagree with this post. One of the things I like most about SWG is the fact that it is a "skill based" game and doesn't add to your HAM when you level up. I think it get's way out of had when someone has THAT much more health than another player. I like the fact that if a group of people with less skills mob a higher level person, they actually have a chance (small one) of taking him/her on.

What I would like to see, is everything that is in the game currently be fixed first of all. Like the speeder bug that everyone uses to fix their speeders. My main isn't even a crafter and I can see how it's effecting things. I bet there are very few speeders sold at the moment because everyone can fix them for free. The other thing you could do for crafters is give them the ability to move their vendors if they empty them. I see no purpose in making the create a new vendor just because they made a minor change to the layout of their house/tent. While your at it you could give the image designers the ability to, if given consent, make changes to vendors.

The absolute biggest problem I see at the moment is the whole jedi/holo deal. This is going to ruin the game completely. I already know people who've left the game because of it. The cantina's and Medical facilities right now are a joke. The only people actually in there are the one's who are macroing. The few people who enjoyed playing entertainers no longer like it because of all the holo grinder's who've taken the place over. I realize this topic is has been beaten to death, but there is a reason for that.

Player bounties! Everyone wants them and not just Jedi bounties. No, I'm not suggesting that you throw bounties on unsuspecting players. What I'm saying is that there needs to be optional smuggler missions that the smugglers can take that will, if failed, create a bounty on their head. I think this would add a great deal of fun to both professions involved. Maybe idea could incorporate actual "smuggling missions" that the smugglers have been wanting for a long time. Maybe even have checkpoints at the major starports where the imperials or planetary law enforcement are actually checking people for illegal contraband. Smugglers would have a skill mod that would allow them better chances to get by these points. This would create a need for players to hire smugglers as well as more NPC missions the smugglers could take. I know many smugglers who just want to be a "smuggler".

Um... I forgot to add that I think the whole economic system is hosed. It will take a VERY long time for this to be fixed even if something were done about it now. I hate to say it, but I think almost everything needs to wear out. Maybe houses should become old and after a long period of time the maintenance rates should start to climb. Same with harvesters. Clothing only get's damaged with death. Not sure this is enough. Many people pretty much never die.

There are people in SWG that are so rich that they will probably never run out of credits even if changes were made to the economy. I don't personally have an easy solution to this, but I do think there is a problem. It just seems to me that some of the crafting professions are hit hard by the fact that the stuff they create doesn't ever wear out. What about droids for example? As far as I can tell, once you buy a droid you will never have to buy another to replace it. The architects were given all of the lighting items that are supposed to wear out. But, they seem bugged and don't wear out at the moment. Or atleast they do, but the lighting changes don't take effect unless you move them (This is what I've been told).

what i am sayin here is that AFTER you keep your template for say 5,000,000 xp only then could you get a stat increase and it should be small like 1 point to add to any stst on you ham ..this would be essential to make the game more playable long -term if im a master pistoleer , i dont want to be capped out all that i can do is buy better weapons and armor ...or drop my skill i want to grow with pistoleer over time ...it may be a LONG time but over tim ....example ........master BH has aquired 10,000,000 XP AFTER the fact that he has become master BH he sould be able to do something with these ...i think that this is a "long-term" idea SWG is still less that 1-year sence launch ........time will tell

Right on Asgoia, guess that one big post was a brain cramp on your part.....additionally, I don't go anywhere covert, no need for a flag....I seem to fair pretty well in pvp to as a masterpikeman/master doctor. It's unfortunate that I have to rely on thaktillo and and can't use my LVA against TK's cause of the armor hole. But these are two problems that I think will be addressed in the combat balace without touching pikeman. I do agree with the need for new weapons as you are correct, we are labeled by the devs as the most powerful melee class.

a few more things

Give us T-16 Skyhoppers ( http://www.starwars.com/databank/vehicle/t16skyhopper/ ). You dont have to make them super strong or anything (maybe make its gun about as strong as a laser rifle or t-21, but slow, that way it isnt really a pvp vehicle, its just fun to use.

Let us Dual-Wield, add that option to Jedi Knights (and DJK's), so they can use 2 one-handed sabers (dont take out the 2 handed saber option though, that way at master jedis can decide between 2 handed saber, staff, or dual sabers ), fencers can use 2 swords (maybe a stun and a vibroblade or something, or 2 stuns) and pistoleers and bh's can use 2 pistols, but in order to prevent it from being insane damage do what D&D does, a - to accuracy on both, and damage on the offhand (maybe spread dual wielding stats throughout the trees so at master its just slightly less accurate than 1 pistol, and the offhand does slightly less damage) maybe add as well a 1 weapon skill to the trees, so as you go up the trees you keep doing as much damage, or slightly less, though more accurate, with one weapon than 2 (so 2 is just for aesthetic purposes pretty much).

For the Jedi Quests DO NOT MAKE US KILL ACKLAY FOR BONES, or anything of the sort, if you want us to kill a hard mob for a loot make it in an instanced dungeon like the corvette, and a 100% drop chance for that object, that way 500 jedi-to-be's dont camp the same rare mob for aneven rare-er object (I have a jedi friend who played eq and says this is the one thing he really fears of jedi quests, and it makes complete sense)

If you are going to make the main char jedis, at least do something like make Novice Padawan 100 sp, Master Padawan 10, NoviceKnight 75 sp, Master Knight 10, and Novice Guardian 50, Master Guardian 5 sp,so we can be say force sensitive though not a jedi master, and still have other stats, although maybe still have checks like you cant heal or take out another weapon if you have taken out a saber in the past 10 mins.

Possibly do something like classify skill usage into Jedi, Agressive and Passive, so if we become a jedi we cant become a doc (padawan uses 250 _agressive_ sp, but we can still get passive skills, 250 sp worth, so we can be jedi/rangers, or jedi/droid engineers, jedi/weaponsmiths, jedi/artisans, jedi/entertainer (we cant mind buff our selves ) (maybe one day jedi/pilots? since it isnt defending our actual avatars with a rifle) ) that way we cant become jedi/riflemen, or jedi fencers, or docs, or any of that stuff. This can be most useful for supplying money for our jedi grindage (pearls are at least 4 mil, we cant get that kind of money if we are just jedi, and some people are going to want to use their 2nd char as a fighter, so how will we get money? Be Jedi/Tradeskiller of course. I said "Jedi, Agressive" to prevent people from being both say... TKA/Rifleman and a bunch of passive professions, so you still have a total of 250 sp, so you cant be agressive/passive (and you definately cant be agressive/jedi) but you can be Jedi/Passive (if you think about it most jedi in the movies werent rifleman or something of the sort, they were tradeskillers and pilots)

How about some useful furniture?

Allow a wound heal (similar to camps, slow but useful) while sittingin a chair in your residence, and maybe even BF heal while in bed. Closets that can store clothing and armor, weapon racks that can hold wearons, tables that hold lamps and nick-knacks, data terminals that hold schematics, book shelves or desksfor deeds. Each piece of furniture would end up being a container inyour house that could hold a specific type of item, thus increasing the storage capability of a house, as well as making a USE for furniture besides just looking good.
