Thread: October 3rd Update
"You will be able to add comments next to friend’s names and classify them into groups. Additionally, the names are colored when they are online making it much easier to see who’s around at a glance. "
Wow, It is like you read my mind. I was just looking at my friends list thinking that I would like to organise it. I have friends, aquaintences, crafters, enemies, and even other guilds all on my friends list. I would love to be able to mark who is who. Stuff gets confusing.

Do we creature handlers need to teach the mounts a "mount" command,if so what LV of Training (i heard the mount command is in this tree...somewhere) do we need.
That way i can grind all month to get it if i need to.
**edit**?!?!?! If SWG or SOE or Lucas Arts or WHOMEVER decides to NOT make the badges/rewards RETROACTIVE...it would be one of the larger mistakes they have made since the "roll out" of this game. If they do NOT make it retroactive they are PENALIZING all of us "early acheivers" who went through the painstaking process of completing a themepark early in the game. As if it wasn't bad enough that we completed the themeparks when they were BUGGY....and the fact that we did NOT receive anything special for such a task is a slap in the face!
To make matters worse....IMO i think those people who have completed themeparks (especially if you completed a themepark BEFORE the 1st big patch came out) worked EVEN harder to complete it due to the known bugs with various themeparks. And if I have to run thru an entire themepark a SECOND TIME just to get the badge or reward....(unless its an uber-reward) that is NOT worth my time to go back and do again.
That would be like holding the Olympics...say the 100m dash....and after the race was over you heard the announcer say, "I'm sorry. But we don't have the medals at this time for those of you who placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd. But if you want...you guys/gals can race AGAIN b/c this time we actually do have said medals."
Please think more about this....b/c if you DO NOT make it retroactive that's 1 more straw on this camels back...and I'm not sure how many this broken camel can take (cough cough Squad Leader cough)

Oh come on.. It's not that bad.
Ifwe have to run through it again, it will delay (however briefly) that feeling of boredom from having completed everything already. I know I wouldn't mind going back over my tracks once everything is fixed and working properly. It sure beats sitting around fooling with PvP while we wait for something new to be added.
For all the people that have done the Themeparks and possible other quests that could award loot or badges. Can we not just talk to the npc again and get everything instead of doing the whole thing again? I dont really want to do Jabba's again.
Surely you can check to see ifa player gets the "I have nothing more for you to do, come back at a later date" message from the final quest giver and then award the final loot/badge.
Just a thought.

I cant tell you how excited I am for the friends list update! I know that seems like small stuff compared to cities and mounts... but I've been wanting each of the new features describedsince day one!
Q: There was stuff in the testing page about how bazaar columns will now remember their size .. something else I have been LONGING for!!! Thanks. But I have a question:
Will this trickle down to the datapad columns too? When I view list format in datapad that tiny tiny little icon column always wants to take up 1/3 of the datapad.

I must not give in to Tread hijackers. There has been more discussion about patch stuff with Vass on the Test Center forum.
Except that, not a single word has been said publically by any SOE employee about the 100 use schematic limit since Holo said he was checking on it a month ago. If you won't reply here, can you at least nudge the right person to reply to ANY of the threads on that matter?
