Thread: October 3rd Update
That is a good point.
I suppose since there are only going to be 6 building types to begin with, that isn't even one per skillbox. Obviously they don't want a novice urban planner who can only build city halls, having to grind city halls that no one needs, just to get one more skillbox. Having one city hall give enough experience to get the next skillbox wouldn't be a good solution. Half of the skillboxes would serve no purpose anyway.
I was originally hoping for Urban Planners that could help make city planning easier, by using skills such as terraforming and altering placement regulations. Maybe even shift houses to a certain extent. Those are some pretty big technical challenges though, but maybe someday...

"Minimized, we’re working on a method for all players to get the opportunity to get the new reward or badge. I’m not sure it will be a retroactive reward or an opportunity to do it again, but you likely won’t be gated from getting it."
I'm sure you will find the best way out of this, but if i can suggest, simply adding a final mission step to every theme park to grant the badge, could give all the players the opportunity to get it, without the need to do again all the missions from the very beginning
Dewbacks. banthas, ronto's.... im sensing a trend here. Why is half of the creature mount list containing creatures from tatooine?
I thought it would be cool riding on a grand wrix, or greater sludge panther. Well, if theres just going to be 4-6 creature mounts at launch, will there be more? And as for Meelee creatures, they should be able to fight with their swords and pikes on the mounts (i.e. Everquest) but as being a TKA myself and our attack range is only 6m, are you guys going for reality or balance on that note?
And one more question, The Warrens are in Corellia correct?

Regarding training, my understanding is Mount training has always been planned as a Master CH ability only.
Holo said "advanced training" soI took that asTraining IV
PicoTaco, I speak for most developer's when I say...
Swoop bike harder than kaadu
vehicles are currently scheduled for the monthly publish after the Player City/Mount one
now THATS what i like to hear.
I gotta ride a Bantha bareback on release ?!? OMG, my rear end is sore already just thinking about it!

I have a suggestion....how about where you say you are working on "enhanceing professions" youmake Droid Engineers and Chefs among the top priorities on that list?
You know your customers want this, and we are beginning to feel very ignored about these issues. There are countless threads about this in the general discussion, including a thread several pages in length from a chef that Im sure none ofyou Devs have read.
So are you ignoring us on purpose? If so, Im sure I speak for many when I ask why?

Is it just me, or does anyone else not see Cloning centers on the list of new buildings....![]()
Okay since it's not listed I'll assume you've scrapped the whole Urban Planner Profession, so we can also assume that you will be adding a ton more non experimental, non decayable, non continuing market inducingskematics that novice architects that choose to take just one line of Architect will be able to create with no differencial to the same items created by Master Architects.
What this means to me is that we already have a glut of architects we were hoping to decrease that glut by dividing the architects somewhat into Architects and Urban Planners, now we will just have more reasons for part time architects to stay in business, but now they won't just be creating (and selling at silly low prices) items that effect just one person but items that effect 100's of people.
I started my architect with the goal to go Urban Planner. I've saved skill points so that I would have room for UP. Please release some details regarding this profession or vapor profession if that's to be the case. I want to know if in the next month I should be reworking my career path or if there is a chance that you are not scrapping the profession in order to push player cities out too early.
really i want droids already so i can give up this ch bs already. I have to use ch just to compete in PVP, i gotta sick my pets on theirs so that i can aucutally face the person face to face half the time.
I want battle droids, droidekas BEttter probedroids, assian droids etc.
and i want to be able to use more then one droid at a time with some sort of system like after reaching novice of a elite combat profession (pistoler bh riflemen carbineer etc) you can use 2 and if u master the eliete you can use 3

However, since the game has run for several months with the wrong numbers, we will continue to go with those values. So the TC structure changes you are seeing are a side effect of another change and will be restored to their old values soon.
So just to be clear: Ignore the current rates and capacities on TC. They are not going to stay like that and they will not be pushed to live.
everyone that says blah blah this is only the harvestor issue...
Do what xstrider suggests and READ! if you read the THREAD and not just the singe post, you'll see this little tidbit on page 2:
"On that note I want to let you know that onschematics now go up to 1000 on test via. the scroll bar. This may or may not go live, but you are most welcome to come over and help test these things out."
So before jumping down his throat at least read 2 pages of a thread on discussion of test center changes.
