I haven't seen any reports of this yet. Do you see this happening on live now?

Looking back on the first year of the game, we had three "monthly" storylines in a year. Are there plans to get this back up to speed so that there is some story-driven content to the game in year two and beyond?
Not currently.A great deal ofeffort went into the back end of "Cries of Alderaan" and now that the story arc is complete, all that work has been removed from the game. At the tail end, everyone was wishing we could just leave the content in the game which resulted in two different decisions. The first is that at some point, the team wants to re-engineer the "Cries of Alderaan" in such a way that it can be permanently added to the game because it was a fun adventure. The second is that future content will be built and added to the game instead ofproducing a lot of game assets and committing a lot of development time to temporary features.

TH,
You mentioned above that once the jedi revamp is completed, you will start to have focus discussions on the combat revamp. Wouldn't it help to actually have these "discussions" before you spend months coding the changes?

SWG: Krayt Skull Quest - A Quest Borken.
A long time ago (October 2003), in a galaxy far, far away (Bloodfin)...
Borvo's Guards: Check.
Thale Dustrunner: Check.
Take Borvo his cash: Check.
Do Borvo's missions: Houston, we have a problem. No missions. No gun. Nothing except, "Good" and "Next".
June 14th, 2004 (8 months later)...
Borvo doesn't know me. His guards don't know what they are doing. Thale won't have anything to do with me. Huff gives me the cold shoulder. Huff's guards tell me to go get Pappy Darklighter's pea shooter and bring it back to Huff.
To be continued?????
Any update?

More a curiosity than anything, do any of the Dev team play a Bounty Hunter on live servers ?
Off the top of my head, at least one that I know of.

TH, do you have update notes for the patch early yesterday morning?
thanks
/agree there. We would also like to get the conversion numbers posted as well, so we know exactly how many skill points we will have?
What stats will the robes have, protections, resistances. Throw us a bone here also. Many are coming out of 80 to 90% composite, and its gonna be a huge slap in the face when we get way outdamaged cause we did not know this thing, and start losing 200k Jedi xp right off the bat.

TH --I agree - - thats how it will occur.
What?
You mean the combat revamp hasnt even been started? Everyone was under the impression that you were all ready to go once you got the jedi bs taken care of. Now it comes to light that you havent even figured out your plans for fixing things. So what? The expansion comes out and this still doesnt get touched. Cmon more of us play this game than just your precious jedi.

LeBob - That was just part of the trickle patch...

I agree with many of the posts, they have alot of great ideas for the game. I'm a crafter, having some crafting missions would be cool, and i mean real missions, for example the oppurtunity to fill an order of weapon for the rebel cause or something, or to make some mines to be distributed at bases. Then i would like to see some real results from my mission. Read all of Lord Baryon's post and he has some very good ideas. My idea is the vendor revamp for crafters. I have 6 vendors and i have tons of items in stock (1500+) I stock over 300 powerup crates and obviously they are not all going to sell in 30 days! Instant sales should last forever, that is why you pay the vendor to keep your store stocked. Also, for all the resource sellers. Usually people can't buy the perfect amount of resources that they want, they are stuck with what the vendor has up there, which is sometimes 20k+ more resources than they really want. So for resources, lets say that you can put 100k of Douse Copper in your vendor, when you put it in the vendor you set a CPU for the Douse, lets set it at 8 CPU. Then a customer can come up, get the exact amount he wants of Douse, he just clicks on Douse and types in a value, lets say 4598 exactly then he will pay 8 cpu on it, which comes to 36784. The resources are like instant sales and stay in the vendor forever, or until you take some out. This works for both the customer and the vendor holder. The cpu should be 2 decimal places for those perfectionists, lets say you want to sell the Douse at 7.99! oh what a great deal! Thx for reading, i really hope that a SWG dev read this, can never really tell if they do.

So basically what you are saying here is at the bare minimum, 12 more weeks of SWG:Rifleman/Combat Medic Rampage (tm)? Ah well, fishing is fun.
