"May I ask why you think that the 90% of us not at the top combat professions don't deserve new content? Why should I have nothing new to do in the game just because I'm not playing the template of the month? I have done all the old existing easy content, does that mean I'm SOL because I'm not uber? So please tell me, am I supposed to just live with nothing new to do while you and the other top end fighters have fun exploring all the new content?"

Plonger, the dungeon is to enforce grouping - which is a good thing in my view. There is nothing that stops you from entering the dungeon with 19 friends. You don't need to be the uber uber powergamer from hell to do that. The problem is that even the powergamers (I call myself a powergamer) currently see that there is no way to complete the dungeon. We went there with many full groups, all in composite, riflemens/fencers/CMs/Master Docs and even Jedis. None of us died but in the end we all ran out of buffs and had to burstrun out, simpy because the SBDs are too much of a timesink. I agree that the casual gamers won't stand a chance against these NPCs but if the DEVs intend to balance that dungeon out i'm sure a few groups of weekend players will be able to deal with it. Remember even the powergamers not only need powergamers. You need DEs/Armorsmiths/Tailors and even - yes yes - Entertainers - to heal your BF inside the dungeon (I know this sounds crazy but it's true - you end up with high BF Values). The droids screw the dungeon up atm...

Battle droids and super battle droids are just a lame waste of time.

Why not just put in something called an 'Impenetrable wall of Fortitude'. Give it a 5 million ham and have it recharge at an insane rate and so it takes 500 people beating on the thing for an hour before it goes gets destroyed.. Then 5 minutes later another one spawns and we have to spend another few hours beating on it for it to break down for 5 minutes..

Oh and while we're at it.. and a hour time limit on the wall and so if you don't break it down in an hour it resets to new..

Lame......

oh one more thing. asides from the whine factor, why is mandolorian armor reserved for only commandos and bh's. arent mandolorians mercenaries???? no one else gets profession specific armor. if someone gets through this dungeon, i think it gives them the right ot wear it. dont you??????

Mandalorian Armor can be worn by Master Commandos, Master Bounty Hunters, Master Rangers and Master Squad Leaders.

Is that everything, you can say to this whole thread????

I would be very surprised if entertainers actually could heal BF in the bunker.

Not to mention all the idiotic morons who run down, aggro 15 SBDs on them, and run to the top. That is how our group finally died.

This has been a popular griefing tactic in the Geo cave. That's a piece of "high level" content that you can actually make progress on with patience and persistence, but it still depends on no one suddenly running past going LOL LOL LOL LOL and trailing a half dozen enhanced klikniks onto your butt.

In my original reply I stated that I'm simply not interested in the DWB, but I do have an optimistic hope for it -- that, as it is, it will keep the uber elite 1% occupied long enough for the devs to make content for the rest of us. For that purpose, putting Boba Fett armor in it was genius.

I'm going to restate my question to Thunderheart, because I think it's at the heart of what a lot of us want to know: What was wrong with "some" players soloing the Corvette?

One of my guild mates was among the soloists. She's a super dedicated player who spends half of every day in SWG. Frankly anyone who puts in that kind of time will figure out how to solo. Her soloing didn't diminish the Corvette for the rest of us, except insofar as SOE's eventual reaction.

Was too much Corvette loot entering the economy? Couldn't you make the loot spawn depend on the size of the arriving party, ie. at least n people to get an AV21 powerplant? What ever happened to risk versus reward?

Maybe there's a good reason I'm not grasping. Why were some soloists a bad thing?

There's a mistype on the little screen loading card for the Bunker..

it currently says something at the end like, "Perhaps you can find out for yourself. If you're up to the challange..."

I believe you guys meant to say, "Perhaps you and 500 of your closest friends could find out. If you're all up to the challange..."

actually I think he's right, the dungeons seem to be coded as cantinas for some bizarre reason.I don't know if they ever fixed it, but I remember there wassomething that wouldgive themessage "You cannot [do whatever] in a cantina"

Well, you seem to have missed my point. Content to me does not mean donning some armor, getting buffed, then hiding behind 19 combat characters until it is time for me to help them by either crafting something or healing them.

Content is not being there to make life easy for the fighters. Content is something that I can actually participate in as an equal, not the secondary group member along for the ride who only gets to enjoy the content as an observer.

The difficulty here and in the corellian corvette really is rediculous. We need a combat balance not more dungeons to see how out of wack combat is.

And I'd like to know what happened to 'loot enhancements' as well.

The harder it is, the better for hardcore players...if you an't willing to put in the time then SWG isn't for you! Things is no fun being too easy!

I like how this dungeon went in the combat perspective but the lag is an issuebut I m pretty sure endor server will be upgraded in the the next server stablity!

Where to begin, well I will say what I don't like this time around is the fact the Mandolrian Amour is crafted. It gives me very little incentive to fight and fight SBD's to assit a crafter who in the event of making a piece of the armour will hereby turn around and sell it for litteraly millions upon millions. So many die to line the pocket books of the crafters.

Unbelievable..................................So because I only spent all my time becoming a master armorsmith, master artisan, and as much merchant as possible, I shouldn't play SWG. What are you, 12?
