Hello TH

could we have the item naming colorization back and could you move the premium auction to an uncaped real auction system with byout and reserve price?

They said they would bring name coloring back, but do it in a way that allowed everybody to do it easily instead of just the people who knew the trick behind it.

Could all top correspondants issues been solvedBEFORE implementing anything new and beeing obliged to nerf them later?

What if a correspondant's top issue involve implementing something new? Kinda shafts your logic there.

Could we have warehouses and working cabinets as storage?

Wouldn't that be implementing something new?

Could we have walls and textured floors for our cities?

Again, something new.

Could we be able to level smalls hills, rocks, spots of water to drop houses in nice patterns?

You keep asking for them to implement new stuff, which is exactly what you said you don't want them to do... make up you mind.

Could you remove all crappy and non workingitems and skills tapes from loot?

Why? If all loot ranged between "good" and "great" then it would begin to defeat their stance on having "good" and "great" loot be very limited in order to prevent taking business away from crafters. If you take out the crappy items, it means the good stuff drops 10 times more often, which screws up the economy 10 times more than it already is.

Could we have something else to wear than Composite and maybe Ubese armors?

More new stuff?

Could Wookies get some loving, layered leather clothes, Wookie PSG...

Yeah Wookies do need something.

Could you nerf Human stats or buff non humans ones?

Wait... what? That makes no sense. Humans aren't exactly priveledged in the ways of stats. They're versatile in the sense that they can take on any role, but they don't make better Scouts than Bothans or better Medics than Mon Calamari. There's no point to nerfing Human stats, it's unnecessary.

Could we have a /roll function to move our objects in our houses?

Move them...... how? How are they rolling? Do you mean the ability to rotate them vertically instead of just horizontally? If so, then I'd like this, but you shouldn't since it's implementing something new, which you said you don't want.

Could we be able to lock doors inside our houses and keep the chating inside them private?

More new stuff huh?

Could all specials moves damage and effect increase with level progression so they would still be usefull and add variety in the game combat mechanics?

Maybe they should FIX all the special moves so they actually work before trying anything like that. Quite a few combat professions aren't exactly in good shape.

Could the entertainers get a way to heal battle fatigue in largest camps, rangers ones, with specialized droid?

Already a Ranger request.

Could merchants get vendors droids with 20-50 storage and advertising module?

I believe they said this is already on their "to-do" list.

Could smugglers get the ability to choose the slicing effect enc / speed / effec?

I'd rather them make the quality of the Upgrade Kits make a difference in the slice %, but that's just a personal preference.

Could the architects gets repairs tools to be used by customers to repairs their houses instead of paying maintenance fees?

That sounds like it would be awfully annoying.

Could we get a way even expansive to repair completely broken / decayed items to initial state, even if very expansive?

Expansive - having a tendency to expand. Characterized by richness, abundance, magnificence. Marked by or indicative of exaggerated euphoria.

I think you mean "expensive." (Yes, I'm a big jerk, I know)

Could the imperial crackdown be buffed? It changed nothing for the rebels : I havent been scanned once yet

Buffed? There's already Imperials complaining about how it allows Rebels to farm faction points like madmen, and you want to increase it?

You contradict yourself a couple times in case you hadn't noticed.

The error messagein the /tip subsystem needs to be more descriptive.

When you try and tip amounts over 1mil it reports that the amount is invalid...it doesn't tell you that its just because you are trying to type in too large a number. Maybe the error message could be a bit clearer.

I also think the /tip system should allow for more than 1mil tips, since you can do it through the trade window.

I for one am enjoying myself in SWG and am really excited for the Space Expansion Release if it is still in development! For one wanted to suggest some planets to add in to the expansion if any were to be added.

I think that among the planets added if any should be Koriban this would be a place to earn a Sith Holocron or two. It would be for only advanced players not beginning characters although they could visit the planet, and build player cities.

The second planet should be Kashyyk the home planet of the Wookie species and only Wookies should be allowed to settle there and make cities because I don’t want that planet to be over run with cities like all the other planets.

New types of houses for Kashyyk should be added to the schematic section of the datapad for every Wookie. All Wookies should be able to make a hut no mater the skill or profession because huts seem simple to make. Or better yet, the Wookie Huts should be available to Novice Architects.

The next planet should be Coruscant,. I’m not quite sure how to spell it but there should be specially designed vehicles for Coruscant. As you know most of Coruscant is high above the ground so these vehicles should be like the Vehicles seen in Episode II and I, hovering.

Ok now about the personal starships and the way they fight. It should not be like when we on planets and whether we hit or not is decided on a roll and if the number is higher than the other ships defense it hits and if not it misses.

It should be like when you click the mouse button the weapons fire. This is especially important in battle; whether you hit or not should be decided on how well the person flying the starship can aim on their own. No skill should be required to pilot a personal starship.

The controls would basically be like spacebar makes you rise up off the ground, “w” makes it go forward, “s” makes it slow down, “a” and “d” make it sort of avoid fire like the ship tilts.

Ties And X-wings should be available to members of the faction of which these ships are on the side of. They should cost about 4000 faction points and only declared imperials can use them.

Every time there is a space battle near, they should get an email about it telling them to well report to the location to aid in the battle. Or, Imperial Faction member players should be stationed on Star destroyers and take off in the Ties if the battle was one with the star Destroyer they were on.

There is the matter of experience when aboard these shuttles. I suggest maybe a shooting range for marksman and dummies to practice on for melee fighters. There would be a med center and a lounge (cantina) for all the healing needs. There would be storage and sleeping quarters.

Players Should be able to take part in some of the more major battles in the Star Wars saga like the battle of Endor, the battle above Endor at the Death Star, and one of my personal favorites, the Imperial assault on the rebel base on Hoth.

I would discuss more of what I think the Expansion should be like but I’ve probably dragged this on too long already. Please reply to this message with your comments and any developers working on the expansion give me your personal thoughts on my ideas. Oh and I'd like to sign up for the Beta test of the expansion if I can. Thank-you

ok i don't know why and haven't found out yet, but i think you guys should bring the earrings back. One, it provides another way to make your avitar unique; and two, I don't know about anyone else, but I try to make my avitars look as much like me as possible. I have my ear peirced and think it would be really cool to own one in game.

WOOKIEE LOVE

maybe if nobody wants to see wookiees in armor and the devs dont wanna code the graphics, then we could get a craftable(doctor, or BE) "injection" like a super-soldier serum or what-not:

- doesn't conflict w/ spices/foods

- gives protections equivalent to armor for 1 hour maybe

-WOOKIEE ONLY

-provides a money/time sink

- is easily "balance-able"

- perhaps could be upgraded w/ a new loot-able component? (I know you devs like the loot-able components:smileyhappy

That would only leave the skill tape issue...

so how about a WOOKIEE ONLY bandolier (like chewie wore:smileyhappy that has an equivalent (or close) number of sockets as armor and would accept armor attachments?

these 2 things and some snazzy new wookiee threads ( w/ more sockets also) and all of us wookiees will shut up, methinks

Personally I prefer to have 10 time less loot and when I get one it should be worthy, i'm just annoyed of looting crappy CDEF pistols, 1 unit resources and so on...

Could we have something else to wear than Composite and maybe Ubese armors?

Did you tried as most non Human to migrate your stats and wear a complete set of good armor?
Even there is no logic a Human can migrate to regen faster than a Transhodian, have higher focus willpower than aZabrak and so on...

The effect is already working, try using very low end tools and you'll get a lot of more low slice results

My challenge to Thunderheart.

Just answer on question

Ihave seen this posted numerous times andon multiple forums and never a response from the devs. I always see answers to the easy questions like yes we are adding candles (pat me on the back) we can move move objects in the house up and down(another big up) but I have yet to see an answer to a simple question that deals with gameplay substance and not eye candy. A drum roll please...................

Q> What is the game plan for character continuation once someone reaches master, besides dropping it mastering something else out of pure boredom.

A> ???????????????????????????????????????????????????

If it is legal to start a betting pool in game for credits shall we set up a pool. To see who the big winner is???

My credits go on never get a direct answer refer everything back to combat pass that does not address issues of combat profession having not being distinct from each other, havingmultiple specials do the same thing, have higher level skills do less damage than lower level ones, mods not working properly.

I will double down my credits with another questionairre on what would you like to see your profession? Yes I bet i'll be rich if I can get anyone to bet against me. (I have only answered endless questions about game play and never have seen them respond to anyone in our forums)

Just another rant

Besides my rant I enjoy the game for some odd reason but only because I took a break then came back and have mastered the majority profession again then find myself back to where I was months ago.

just wondered why you seem to be set on turning smugglers into nothing but mere slicers

1: The underworld tree is largely useless anyway so no change there

2: With the last publish chef rework you have very effctively killed off the spice market almost every one i have spoken to who was Muon dependent for thier skillz, ie teras kasi ,riflemen and all types of medic now use brandy and canapes (i include myself in this i am a rifleman as well as master smuggler )

3: As a master smuggler (a pistol dependent proffesion ) i use almost exculsively a Republic Blaster i see that in the upcoming publish this weapon will be taken away from me unless sacrifice some of my rifle skillz to take novice pistoleer, i had to get a lot of pistol experience to get master smuggler i think we have earned the right to use both the republic blaster and the dx2 with out taking a completely new skill.

4: I also see that it is gonna be impossible to use the /panicshot delay to do anything other than run away, thus removing one of our best combat tactics :ie knockdown, delay, last ditch.

so there we go it would seem that we have had spice removed, our pistol skillz rendered effectively useless and an underworld tree that was neva any real use in the first place

This leaves us with the slicing tree which i know is very frustrating for alot of us aswe are still restrained by a the completely random nature even at master level ( i dont know how some of you other master smugglers feel, but i know that i feel incredibly guilty when confronted by a new player who has worked very hard to afford his first set of composite only to be told that you have sliced the whole lot for effec and he cant wear it )

now i understand that you may be worried about the rapidly increasing numbers of smugglers that have risen of late and are trying to limit that with out a direct cap but plz bear in mind that there still some players out there who like myself have no interest in the whole holo jedi thing and wanted to play smuggler (Han fan not luke fan ) right from the start and neva intend to drop this skill

i enjoy SWG one of the best games i have ever played but unless something changes for the better in the profession that i love i am seriously thinking about cancelling my subscription and i am a ware of a number of sugglers who feel this way and do even more so after reading details of the upcoming publish

Points to make.

Fidd.

Merchants WERE tied into the bazaar system during beta...then some people started putting ridiculous cover charges on the houses they had a merchant in. People would get to the house to pick up their purchase and find they had to pay several thousand or more credits just to GET IN to pick up their purchase.

It's good to hear the devs are working on getting it working again, but first they have to keep cover charges from ruining the system again. (I'd suggest adding the cover charge to the existing price of an item, anywhere but in the building proper.)

Fenyx.

Drop your clothes on the floor...what do you see?
Clothes FLOAT as if they're being worn.

LeBob.

Yes, there is about one NPC city that is fully utilized on any given server. There is a reason for this.
Healers want people to heal, so stay in the hospitals where players visit.
Players want healers, so go to the hospitals where the healers are...unless they have only a few wounds anyway.
Entertainers want an audience, so go to the cantinas where the parties are.
Players want entertainers, so go to the cantinas where the parties are.
Buyers don't want to run all over the planet to pick up items from the bazaar, so stick to the cities where the MOST items are listed.
Sellers want to be able to sell their products, so list them in the most frequented cities.

How can this be fixed? Hmmm. Well, the hospitals and cantinas could be fixed by flagging occupied buildings on the worldmap. (If you KNOW there's a musician in Tyreena, you may prefer to go there over wading through lag in Coronet.)
The bazaars could be fixed by either...merging the bazaar system on a given planet, so a person can pick up their order anywhere on the planet. OR, by putting an incentive to post items on less frequented bazaars, OR, by putting an intenctive to post CERTAIN items on CERTAIN bazaars.
Examble of the last two.
For every 100 items listed on a given bazaar, the posting price is one credit higher, max 50 credits extra.
You can post resources for 80% the normal posting prices in Bela Vistal, and data and music instruments have an 80% posting modifier on them on Vreni Island. Tyreena is the place to post medical supplies, if you want the best price.

Arnwald,

Agreed. I've seen a few auctions that have maxxed at 6000. I don't know who the lucky person was, but AUCTIONS should have NO cap. Sure, cap the STARTING price, but not the FINAL price.

I've long wanted a gravel bed to level houses. Maybe a pile system for water, or pontoons. Houses should be able to be built ANYWHERE when you get down to it. A bulldozer isn't too much to ask for.

I think they're working on real combat droids.

Caps? Those serve a purpose.

Try /move forward 1 Try /rotate left 1 Try it with backward and right too. Try it with different numbers, or no numbers at all. We can move objects. I'd like to be able to /lift, /drop, and /tilt objects myself. A gun should not lay on a table with only the bottom of the grip touching.

We can lock doors. Make your house private. We can chat privately as well, just make a channel to do it, stick to groupchat, or use /tells.

I'd love a way to tell when I need to check my harvesters. HOWEVER. If you're on line, factories have this. As for harvesters. If you keep the power and maintenance paid up, you can check the status of your harvesters with a calculator, a calendar, and a quick glance at your survey tool. Yes, you have to be on the same planet to do this last.

Hmm...entertainers STILL can't handle combat fatigue in tents? I thought that was a bug.

I'd like a droid with more than 10 units of storage, but then again, I'd like to have 100 spaces to put items in my OWN inventory again. I miss that.

Hmm...Architects and repair tools. Well. They said they were going to give us decaying lightsources, so finally, architects get a renewable income source. I'm content to see how that goes before asking for more. Although I'd still like to be able to make factioned buildings.

SSquirrel76,

I'm inclined to agree. The problem is, as it is, the items in your house are not loaded until AFTER you step inside. This keeps lag down to reasonable levels. Can you imigine trying to visit a player city if you had to load all the lawn furnature as well? I'm for making the porch part of the inside though. Move the load line to just outside the porch. You can see the outside from inside the doorway, so why can't you be inside, looking outside, when you're on the porch...or the roof. THIS would allow us to at least put items THERE.
