i'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, but i don't know where to ask. Is there going to be a new server coming out any time soon? it is just so saturated on the current ones i've been playing and would like to see a new one. I know some friends who would like to know too.

exactly what server do you play on?

I play on Bria... one of the top three most populated servers and in the past 3 months when I go to an NPC city (besides one of the capitals) there is no more than one other person there... I think they should merge half of the servers with the other half... but I think that's not a very easy thing to do

Probably not for a bit. We're more focused on how to get more people on the existing servers.

Well, the "Great Crafting Nerf" will have the reverse effect.

TH

your time would be spent more worthwhile, to me, working on answering the "Top Ten Questions" than having this any-topic-concept thread... I think they serve the same purpose in many respects too... the only difference from my point of view is that with the "TTQs" our volunteer correspondents have invested a great deal of time and effort in compiling the questions (as we too have in submitting them) but in this thread, people are just randomly asking questions and presenting new ideas... I posted something similar to this statement here... please read it

thanks very much

I Agree with the issue on the crackdown. I myself have been scanned twice now. The first time was rather a surprise and i jusr kept going until in said i was ok but the second time i didn't feel like dealing with it so i shot it down. After shooting it down all i got was a TEF, kinda expected a squad of 10K HAM stormies to jump out of the bushes and kick my butt but nothing, not even an aggroed butterfly.

Honestly, in my opinion, there should be retaliation when a protobot is shot down whether it be by a rebel, neutral, or covert Imp(if they get scanned). like was mentioned here, maybe have a squad of stormies come rushing to the spot it was destroyed, or even 2 officers and an AT-ST but something at the very least.

So far the "Crackdown" has been a joke. I've seen more NPC Imps on Tat in the cities, granted, and a few scattered squads of stormies on Naboo, Tat, Rori, and Corellia but there is no Huge increase in their presence. They aren't any more agressive and any commando (includes novice) can do heavy damage if not kill them all. I am pistoleer 0/0/4/0 and i can use Fan shot with an FWG5 and almost kill them all at once UNbuffed ( not that it matters, when i'm buffed they all hit my mind at once).

Just my 2 cents. Thanks

This might sound like an odd request...but here goes:

When you get off your bike in the middle of the wilderness, sometimes you run for a way fighting mobs and whatnot, and then you look around and can't find your bike, and have to try and search around for it. This is kind of realistic, but maybe an on-screen waypoint could be generated to your bikes when they are pulled out.

This probably won't be an issue really when you can pull bikes out anywhere, because you can just store it and pull it back out again, so it might not be worthwhile doing in the long term.

Schematic Creation

Since the limitation of schematics to 1000 units, it is really annoying when you go to make a schematic that you lose the resources as if you were making the item. When this happens with items that take components, you are of course limited to less than 1000 items because you can't get any more identical factory crates than 1000 units.

This problem is compounded when an item takes components which themselvestake components. (Power Core Units are an example of a component that takes components, you can never get a run of 1000 Power core units).

I don't know about the SWG galaxy, but in most advanced societies we seem to be able to conceptualise designs on computers without having to use any materials at all. When we want to make it we create a Prototype to test the idea, not to manufacture it. For this reason I believe that we shouldn't see the end results as we are making a prototype or schematic. We shouldhave to make the prototype to test the theory, then we get to see the stats on the prototype item itself.

If we already know that we have a kickass item because we have the best resources and have made good experimentation successes, then we don't need to make the prototype and can get straight on with mass producing it, thereby not wasting any resources and we are able to make 1000 unit runs of all components.

Remove resource consumption from Manufacturing Schematic creation.

As a former Master Weaponsmith I know one thing that was really frustrating, spending countless hours surveying for the perfect spot to plop down my harvestors only to find the spot already overflowing with harvestors. I think being granted the ability to Survey while still mounted on a vehicle would be a great first step. Maybe make it an optional componet in Vehicles, a Survey Device Packet that would allow you to scan a larger area than normal with the same survey skill. Another great addition would be a single-use survey Satelite seeing as how this is a space based civilization. These could be crafted by Master Artisans and would allow you to surveya whole planet for a single resource. It would bring up a world map with concentrations marked on it that you could zoom in or out on to mark the best locations. Both of these additions would allow Artisans to make a little more cash before they start the grind into the upper professions as well.

Hi there! My name is Fenyx andI have been a Master Merchant for some time now. I am also a master tailor and mannequins have been brought up in the tailoring forum.
I would like to see a choice to create mannequins via architect or artisan (artisan would be better but not master cuz Im not one *smile) So that tailors may show off their merchandise. I am aware of vendors having the ability to wear clothing for i customize them all the time. However vendors are limited:
1.Tomy knowledge if you put a hat on a vendor you cannot remove it unless you remove the vendor entirely.
2. vendors cannot be custom made via ID. Mannequins would have that option or at least introduce that into the vendor options.
3. Clothes are not retrieveable when you add new clothes to the vendor... mannequins should as well as vendors have this option.
I would like to see mannequins have the same characteristics as a vendor such as paying maintenance on them, having lil or no animations, carrying weapons, etc.
Has this been brought up already? Is this a good idea for merchants to have this ability?
Just some questions and ideas
Thanks

Heck I'd just like to PUT the WORD "Architect" on my vendor! TH, what's with the filter not letting us use Architect but the other professions are okay?

Not to sound too sarcastic or anything but how about fixing the broken professions and other major annoyances in the game? I'm a Master Pistoleer and it seems most of our specials are either broken or useless. Take Fan Shot for example. How is it that I can hit a target at point blank but when I switch to FS, it says target out of range? Or how about a knockdown that doesn't knockdown?

I'm sure the other correspondents would agree as well.

The best idea i could come up with to allow us to place items on the balconies of our houses and on the outside walls was to create a 2m zone around the house on all sides that is ours. This would allow you to walk up to the side of the building and drop an item (and after publish 7) to move it up and place it on the wall outside. Same would work for the balconies. 2m would be enough space to drop an item and move it around as that would be a vertical 2m. You know it would be cool to have a big Krayt skull hanging over your PA door instead of on the wall in your PA hall

I think that it is unfair that zbrak have spikes on their heads, but can wear a helmet, yet trandoshans canoot wear helmets, yet they only have spikes on there heads also. I have even seen mon colamaries wears composite armour, with there heads bulging the way they do, yet trandoshons have a no no when it comes to helmets. We don't have heads 2 feet long, yet people who do can wear helmets but we still can't? I hope this is resolved. Also, we can't wear helmets, yet i can wear a chef hat, that contradicts eachother. Please tell me that trandoshans will be able to wear helmets in the future, I can understzand not being able to weard shoes and gloves with only 3 digits, but helmets we should be able to wear.

Hi all.

This is my first message on the board and I just wanted to say that something should be done about people leeching lairs for XP. It really isn't that challenging to go and get new missions, is it?

Well anyway, I thought maybe there is something that can be done against leeching. Maybe people who attack others' lairs should get a message saying if they continue they will recieve a TEF, or so - so when the person whose mission it is comes along they can do something instead of helplessly shouting: "F***ing leechers. Go away" (Which, even if put into milder terms, often gets quite abusive responses i might add)

Hmm, thats all i've got to say for now..

Have fun, @ll
