OK, here is your answer. I never said they will all of a sudden do any better. I am simply stating that getting JTL out on time and before the holidays is the financial decision that was made. And, personally I would like to see some space in the game of Star Wars. I would like to see the stars from within them instead of from on a planet. It does not take clairvoyance to see any of this, just the ability to use a spell checker.

This actually happened here in Orlando, FL. Its called Universal Studios. They built a 2nd, half-assed, better park because they couldn't figure out how to fix the original. And now people DO pay for both parks.

I'll stick around for the JTL Beta, but that's 'bout it. JTL will be buggy and flawed as the experiences here in SWG have proven. Me confidence in a solid product be low.
I do not see meself payin' more money for an expansion pack, so its time to put me money where me mouth be and let me 6 month subcription not be renewed.

Disney World made sure when the parks oopened they were bug free think of Universal Studios as a failure.Disney is Blizzard and SOE Universal Studios. SOE you have failed. Blizzard is the new King of the Hill. Blizzard has annihilated you before JTL even released.

Hello Everyone,
Congratulations on your recent promotion TH and sorry this had to be your first annoucement right out of the gate. Unfortunately, this may be the death of a potentially great MMORG. I have been playing for 1 year and 4 days today and have really enjoyed my time in SWG. I ve had my dissapointments along the way, but overall the people in my guild and city have really made the game for me, more so than the bells and whistles.
I don't normally post in the forums, but it's not just here on the forums that this annoucement is being discussed, every hunting group I ve been in since yesterday is filled with negative chat and discussion about this annoucement. Many people are leaving in droves and many of my friends in the guild are asking which MMORG we can all change too and meet up in.I don't really want to leave and I do enjoy the game to an extent, but I m beginning to question why I m continuing to stay.
My Recent, Albeit Seemingly Small Dissapointments:
The Anniversary Gifts were for those who have been in game for 3 to 6 months. What about those of us who were here since the first month of release?
I ve asked on several occasions why, there are Large Trees, Styles 1-4, placed throughout the cantinas and starports of major outposts and cities, yet my architect cannot reproduce them. Ex. Go to Dantooine, Aggro Outpost, Cantina where you can click on and look at a Large Tree, Style 3. Why Can't my architect make these?
I ve been leveling Pistols recently, profession 25, if you count politician, and I can tell you, the Iconical Weapon/Fighting Class of Star Wars is THE worst combat profession in game. Pikeman and Pistols took me 2-3 times longer to grind out than any other combat profession and once I got to master, I wondered why? Master Swordsman is a far better class, but I didn't play to play Everquest Wars.
I will more than likely give this game until the New Year. But after that, I m out, because I m tired of paying for something that is broken, and tired of being told that my profession or class is less than important than any other profession class i.e. Architect - Builder of the Galaxy.
Anyway,

Darmana, Ahazi Server, Dantooine Aggro Outpost ( I love living 300m from a major starport, with all the amenities of a player city, without all the hassle of taxes and player griefing).

Just one question.
1. HOW CAN YOUWORK AS A TEAM ONTHE COMBAT REBALANCE WHILE YOU'RE TOO BUSY FIXING THE NEW BUGS IN THE LIVE VERSION OF THE SPACE EXPANSION?
Seriously. A YEAR waiting for combat balance? I stared in amazement at my friends for leaving 9 months ago, because they were impatient waiting for in-game combat balance issues. And this is what we get for waiting? Looks like they weren't the morons.

I just got to thinking, Q is moving on to another project (presumaby EQ2 or EQ3?) and TH steps in right as they decide to delay the promises yet again...
Q was here for all the delays, TH was here but basically had his hands tied.
Q shaped a lot of the decisions that have been made that have hosed us up to this point. TH steps in and bats clean-up...
Does anyone else smell "sacrificial lamb"?

AND ONE LAST MESSAGE: I have been playing since day 1, I spent more actual playing time in this game then any of the 3rd party running macro users that did to get their jedi. I knew the system before anyone did, but refused to give it credence because it dictated to me how to play the game, (I DO NOT WANT TO BE A CHEF!!!)and caused massive server lag with all the spamming macro's throughout the galaxies. If because i didn't afk spam macro's enough means i have a longer wait to unlock jedi than the ones that did will certainly send this subscriber packing. I actually played the game or does that not count in your equations?

What makes you think having to make this post and stand behind it,did not have anything to do with Q leaving... They must have known for weeks, if not months, that this situation was coming.

Your right there are only two trains of thought about this. People that like it because it means they can continue to hologrind, and those whos spirits finally broke. Its all the talk in game, and alot of people I know have already given me their good byes. Within the next couple weeks very few people will be left, and they are staying in hope of being beta for jtl. That is it. Most of the good players are leaveing the game. That means you are going to be in a much depleted population with rank noobs, and real self serveing scum. Not a great enviroment.
I ofcoarse am being honest with any noobs that I talk to and tell them what happened, and that most of the older accounts are quitting. The only thing I can tell them is not to get too attached. This game is on its last legs. They should be ready to jump ship the day they come into a coronet with only 7 or 8 people infront of the starport in coronet.
