Problem: Endless spawn of Valarians behind the starport causing the majority of people to crash. I have a 2.4 Pentium 4, 1 gig of ram and a Radeon 9800xt with 256mb of vid memory and it killed me. Recently the background npc's (npc's that cannot be attacked or spoken to) have gotten out of control, I thought this publish was going to solve that problem. Well you killed the background npc's but you allowed the Valarians to have a Insta-Clone™ machine or something. Many people cant even log back in.

Healing bugged? Says I must wait before I can heal. Wont allow heal state, or heal dmg. Known?

single line is not an option for me becasue ppl would be constantly out of range, i usualyl finish off a guy in under 10 sec and can do that for minutes if iam lucky and not out of queue, but it requires RL concentration on my part and ABLE to read the names..
i think it becuase of the removal of the shadow thign.. great :-/

I cant believe some of you how you are acting! This patch does have alot of stuff to make a person mad.Would oyu really like to have massive messages saying this sucks, i hate this, you are stupid? No you wouldnt. its degrading. If youve waited months or weeks or some period of time for this you can wait a bit longer to do something youve wanted to do. Ive wanted to be a jedi and i am probly in the 5th group. I dont care cause i get to become a jedi even if i have to wait!

Okay, so the community is outraged by the "gating". I was too... until I helped a friend go through the Warren today. If you want to see what the Village of Aurilia would be like without "gating"... just head up to Dantoine's Agro Outpost, and head over to the Warren POI. The place is a madhouse, over 200 players in there when I was. Everyone is dashing there to get what seems to be an important badge... just as everyone that is currently "glowy" would be doing, if the Village wasn't gated.
/bug The Dantoine Aggro Outpost did not appear on my planetary map, nor did any of it's facilities.
/theory Hologrinder friend of mine only had "a surge in the force". He was missing both Warren badges and the Theed Librarian, among some other ones. When he got the Warren Compassion badge, he became a "glowy".

You want to wait 6 months? I sure as hell don't (and I like how everybody has evaded this point). It's six months. Half a year. As in, a very long time.

I dont think that things are terrible, sure they are bad for now, but I'm sure it will get better, thats what usually happens. The only problem i have with it is that we dont know what group we are in, when our group is going, and i dont even know what group is in now. I can wait for my group to go but I would like to know when that will be. In the mean time stop complaining, tell the devs what the problems seem to be, not the stupid complaining about the aurilla cap, that is obviously hated but if you played on TC2 you would know what the lag will be like and then you will probably end up leaving anyway so in the meantime just help your friends get what they need to be glowing and wait your turn like the rest of us and sooner our later you will be allowed in

you mean to tell me you can suspend 200 damn accts in like a week now thats thousands of accts in detailed transaction. "we at SOE want to protect your gaming experience". but you cant get a god damn patch out for everyone to enjoy the day it comes out. Make up some mickey mouse BS excuse that ahh youll see the old man in 1-3 days because we want to make village enjoyable for everyone and yet i have to hear anyone in the damn gorath server to say they have seen the old man??? **edit**!!!!! keep the ebayers from selling duped credits, but you cant even take care of the honest ones who pay hard earned money to play this game and all you wanna do is keep bending us over the barrel. Ahh well i guess........ im done B******* about this man. like my old man used to say crap or get off the pot. So im taking my 2 accts and getting off the pot. time to go where my dollar is appriciated. and if your all smart at least cancel your accts for a month then maybe theyll listen or get put on the chopping block.

2. In case you missed the memo, these are SOE's boards, and there is no garauntee of freedom of speech. If you're really that upset, I'm sure SOE customer service would be delighted to hang up on you if you were to call them.
3. I'm not insinuating that I can prevent people from posting whatever they want, wherever they want. I am merely requesting that issues regarding the jedi aspects of this publish be kept in theappropriate (and seperate)thread, so that we can have a thread devoted towards other issues that have come about with this publish.
On a lighter note, kudos to the devs for finally fixing the vehicle warp bug.
In case you didn't notice, it says open discussion in the topic title, and I am participating in an... open discussion. Gasp. What a concept.
And don't try a strawman on me. I didn't expect to log in and be a Master Dark Jedi with one saber for every color of the rainbow and more powers than the Emperor. I expected my shot at the village. I met the requirements, I expected my go. I thought the grinders would get their Jedi, bypass the village for the most part and everyone would be happy.
Instead grinders get in the village first, PLUS their free skill boxes (double reward) while I get screwed over with a 1-6 month wait, not knowing when exactly in that time I could get a visit. It's utter BS. The devs deceived us in the most cynical manner imaginable, and I say it's unforgivable.
