i was just wondering if there is any intenetion to include cybernetics, such as Lobot has?

these could be a combination of DE and Doc manufactured items, or poss a new proff of cyberneticist( of doc/surgeon and DE)

they could include things such as combat enhancements ( better to hit ) or bounuses to data storage , there are other thing that could be done(possible ID cyber enhancements for ents or built in ent packages for those who dont want a ent r2)

Charcher transfer will result into bad economy for servers. The European servers might get flooded since they are the smallest resulting into large ammounts of lag in mayor cities. I suggest charcher transfer to be cancelled.

I am concerned about the character transfer system.

I know that no details havnt been released yet about how exactly it will work but I wish to add some of my opinions for possible consideration.

the different server economies are all unique, all have thier own prices and market nuances. If people have the ability to transfer money and items with thier character, it is likly to upset that balance. Some people on the more established servers have huge amounts of money. That sort of cash flooding into the market place, even from a few people could cause problems for the less established servers (mainly the european ones)

I understand the character transfer system is likely to cost and there will be limitations but I think that its ecenomic and social implications should be looked at very veryclosely.

Well I love SWG. I have been playing since month 1 and I love it. I may not be one of those players that have mastered every profession, and now working on their jedi. And I do not have 2 accounts so I can have alt characters on the same server. I am not even a millionaire. But again I say I love this game and I have been able to take part in many of the games activities.

One thing that I always wondered about was the ability to gamble. You see gamblers around and you even fight a few in the beginning stages of some missions. But you never actually have a chance to be one.

I think a great concept for the game would to allow DE, Architects and other crafting prof, to make casino's, roulete tables, card games, slot machines ect.. For players to bet on. It could all run much like online casino's do, but the winnings would be placed in your pocket. Losses can go towars Player cities funds, or the owner of the machine. There would have to be enough money in the bank to cover winings, but I think it would be cool.

Also what about POD racing. Or speeder race tracks. you could enter a race fora fee and the winner gets the booty. Plus a machine or booth would accept bets and calculate the propper odds. I have seen duels were winners get prize money, but it is to difficult to bet on them. Creating a structured way to gamble would certainly add a new and fun aspect to the galaxy.

What do you think..

in reply to "crazed" post on hiding players from radar. I think it is a great idea. But you can't make that so for just every one. I think you have to learn how and then apply it.

Such as ranger camo - rifleman take cover. I think that professtions should be able to hide from radar, but only the ones that should know how to hide. Like BH, Camados, Rangers, mabey SL. That could be cool. And just like the professtion already acts. Rangers could apply camo for all players in group, making the lot of them invisible.

Small tweeks, little improvements that have been made recently have been quite sweet. I'd like to suggest a couple that would definately improve my game experience and maybe some others. Again, these are small tweaks, not major overhauls or game changes.

1. Save the sort orders / column widths of vendors. They all show the same info & i always have to resort them & I ALWAYS RESORT THEM THE SAME WAY. Same with our data pads and inventories. As this can be a client side save there is no increased server load so please, please, please look into this.

2. a) Double clicking on a mount in my data pad should mean it generates / stores it. I know what it looks like, i want to ride it.

2. b) Double clicking my mount out in the world should make memount it. Again, i know what it looks like, let me ride it!

Sorry about the double post, i wasn't even finished with one!!

just to finish my double clicking on a mount thought, all that it would entail is making mount / dismount the default for MY mount. Examine can remain the default for other peoples.

Thanks for such a great game!

I liked the idea of having other unlock-able professions that are sort of a step above the general run-of-the-mill combat professions. This could add another tier to the combat system that would expand the dynamic of play quite a bit.

What I do not like is the idea of TKM being one of those professions. I have always thought it was completely ridiculous that a martial artist (or even any melee fighter) could ever realistically have a large advantage over ranged combat professions. Besides the jedi (which are force attuned), where do you ever see some bad-ass kung foo Bruce Li style action taking place where some crazy karate guy kills 10 people w/ machine guns??!? Ridiculous! Maybe in close quarters a win would be possible, but realistically, no half-way decent marksman would ever let his quary get anywhere near that close to them before bustin' a cap and ending the little foray.

Leave the superpower melee combat to the jedi's only. The idea of a TKM even having a remote chance of killing a jedi, or even a force-sensitive w/ limited abilities is just outrageous to me. Nerf the crap out of that profession. It has its place, but please: KEEP IT IN ITS PLACE!!!

One time I was driving in the desert and I thought, "What would make this game seem more immersive?".

I would like to see NPCs going places. Sure, animals hang around their lairs, and if thugs have a hideout, they hang out there, but I'd like to see all the random spawns, & all the crackdown squads activly walking spawn to a randomly selected destination.

Even more so it would be great if each planet had 1-3 special moving things... like a couple Sandcrawlers trekking the desert, or one BIG tougher Anceint Krayt Mother, who spawns once a day and is randomly going somewhere on the world map.

OR How about some real fun BH missions where 3 bounty missions can be found on the terminals every week. These NPCs would be about 2x tougher then regular BH marks, and ONLY BHs could attack them/read about the mission. Once the three BH missions were posted, 1 of the 3 would spawn at some random wp on any planet, and would be walking around in the middle of no-where, once that one was killed, the next target would spawn. The player that get loot rights gets a cool/unique badge and the mission has a generous pay-off.

Someone said something about not being shown on radar, and i agree....

I think maybe SL should have an ability which cloaks all their group members from radar so they can perform sneak attacks, and / or riflemen get cloaked from radar as an ability. This seems like a big tactical move and would be awesome to do.

I also agree that their needs to be OTHER unlockable professions... waht? i dont know.. but it would be cool (droid commander maybe?)

some quickies...

- light side Jedi should not be able to slaughter non-aggressive creatures without suffering some kind of penalty. I mean, just where do they think 'the force' comes from?

- uhh... for smugglers, the long overdue implementation ofSPICE EXPERIMENTATION please!! All that so called debate on the subject was just a distraction from the fact that the work was never completed on smuggler. Hopefully in the revamp, if spices are to stay a part of the skill tree, then smugglers should be able to experiment on the stuff they make, like everyone else that makes any thing else.

- as part of the Jedi revamp, I hope the devs are planning to compensate Holocron holders for those unused Holocrons they spent time/credits on in preparation for future grinding. Perhaps an option to trade it in for either credits, or for some of those force sensitive points that y'all were on about today. .. yadda yadda..

what are youtalking about?

You are not thinking of the teras kasi in the right way. They aren't like bloody kickboxers who spend little or no time considering chi/ki, which is the 'force-like' internal dimensionto traditional martial artists. I see the teras kasi as tapping into the force, but they simply have other words to describe it. Those who can master teras kasi, in my view,ARE force-sensitive. Now, that might not be canon.. but let's face it, teras kasi isn't canon AT ALL! It comes from one line in one book, and all it mentions is that two women practitioners mopped the floor of some bar with 8 stormtroopers.

Was Jango Fett a Teras Kasi Master? No, but yet he knocked Obi-wan on his ass, didn't he? Perhaps Jango could easily do the same to a TKM, but should he be able to? BLAH BLAH BLAH .. what a waste of breath. The bottom-line is that a player who chooses to continue to play their TKM should have just as much of a rewarding experience as someone crazy enough to have gone through that horrid, game-destroyinghologrind.

A Jedi Master should be able to beat down any single other character in the game, yes, but not with their eyes closed.

I coudn't agree with you more. I have fond memories of Star Wars Tera Kasi. Using vador and that powerful jedi slam.

TK is a very important part of the game. And yes I think that the TKM is the next closest thing to being the best of the best. On a spirtual level that is. The JM is just a diferent walk of life. Some one who is a bit more special. I mean comon why else do they call them monks and mystics.

On the other hand TKM do dish out a crapload of damage. Sometimes I think they should be taking a better beating.
