If people are complaining about the game right now and how they feel nerfed on pub 9 wich isnt supposed to be a nerfing publish (aside from jedi nerf). Then what will happen when this game turns like any other MMORPG where you cannot do anything really interesting pve orpvp if not in a decent multiclass group?

Publish 10 seems to be aiming to do that, how will people feel when fighting normal mobs feel like fighting krayts after they changed their HAM to 400k. I think SWG had something different ina term that group play wasgood for hard challengesbut solo play was doable to a certain level with interesting rewards.

What they dont realize is that the majority of the player base seems to enjoy that about SWG and they are about to kill that out of the game. Now the only thing that will have similar power to the current average combat profession will be jedis. That is what will turn SWG in JediWarsGalaxie everybody will want to be a jedi, wich is fine by my or else how is it possible to have a working FRS without that.





If it goes that way, they can kiss another one goodbye.


As for issues with THIS publish, so far the added "option" to NOT display messages from AFK people is completley USELESS. Yes, the option is there, and can be turned on. However....


People now just don't bother "actually" going AFK due to this. And with the ability to make a loopingmacro,AND also set THEIR OWN auto-AFK timer, they can STILL go on as before with their catina and starport SPAM!!!


The "idea" was a good one, but you need a better way to make it actually work.


Spam Wars Galaxies is thusfar unaffected....

yes it is a game but it bother the normal player to see tons of jedi standing around waving with their lightsabers.

it does not belong here (episide 3 -4 ) and a lot of people feel offended even harrassed by this behavior.

i will wait a little bit longer but i ll cancel my 2 accounts if this will go on.

then you and your friends will be happy...jedi server only

There's certainly lots of toys that look like guns in this society. Some of them are so real looking that you can't tell if they are real until they fire a stream of water at your faceinstead of bullets.





Try going to the nearest major airport with a realistic looking toy gun. Wave it in the air in plain sight of security personel and scream, "None of you can touch me!".


Then come back and tell us what happened.... or I guess we would see it on the news anyhow.

Things like swoops cant be called in toolbar
Badges are the same, No different at all
No afk ignoor option
No painting
Items with no damage stats are red - could be a null / 0 code error
Chat Lag
Combat lag
Swoop dismount when you ride into a building
Swoop etc repair bug still there
No medic displayed in stack

Did not happen to me, haven't logged in yet. We all thought a Rez would stop the XP loss, and was the reason why BH mission payouts on Jedi were reduced.


Since I have a Master Doc and a mid level Jedi, I was planing on having the doc within a minutes ride of my Jedi while leveling.


Can you let us know if this a bug, or not.

I would assume so, You died. plain and simple you should suffer the lose, Other wise, i'll just have my doc on auto-follow the entire time. I think once you die, rez or clone you lose xp.

Issue: Can't gain any kind of experience at all

Instructionson how to recreate the bug: I have tried killing things and crafting things on three characters and cannot gain any type of experience at all!

For those mentioning no painting. Please re-read the announcement. The paintings arent slotted to be in our inventory until june 30'th which is tomorrow.

Just to clarify.. if you people actually did some investigating, you'd know that paintings don't come out until the 30th.. *looks at the calendar* Oh yea! Today is the 29th.. so quit whining about your damn paintings, you'll get them tomorrow.

IssueL Lightsaber resistance and armor in inventory or on the vendor

When any armor piece is on the vendor from before the patch it shows a resistance to lightsabers in the base effectiveness (a substitution for restraint). However, for -any- armor item (including PSGs) in your inventory or purchased from the vendor (and then transfered to your inventory) it has Lightsaber as a vulnerability. If an item is put on the vendor from inventory, Lightsaber is shown as a vulnerability.

I have a very well stocked armor vendor. It would take HOURS to unstock and restock every piece and the suits in bags (for which I put the HAM of each piece and total HAM in the description).

I also was under the impression (illusion) from information from Test that PSGs would be resistant to Lightsaber. Did you decide it was too much for your precious Jedi to be faced with any resistant items?

I haven't crafted any PSGs yet this morning to verify on newly crafted.


Issue: Vendors not showing resource names or quantity and factory crates not showing quantity, except in examine.

This is the great crafter and merchant nerf. Even with the names on all the items on a vendor or the bazaar it would take hours to go through resources looking for specific ones. Now.... it will take a day or more. No one will want to buy any resources, because no one will want to go through that much torture to buy any.


Comment: I know that both of these issues were mentioned. The first I had additional information on, the second, I wanted to express my outrage.

When i logged on, i continued to do what i was doing prior to publish 9...and that was buying resources from vendors, and the way it was had it listed like this

ummm is this suppose to be an improvement or am i missing some kind of configuration showing me some of the most relevant information at a glance. I hope that this is an issue on my end and someone could kindly point out what im doing wrong. Otherwise why are they "fixing" something that was basically perfect before, now we have to click on every single one of them and this is not fun. Please fix the bug or fire whoever had that idea. Thank you

In an advanced tech society, there would be lots of ways they could createa visual illusionsimilar to real lightsabers forkiddie toy lightsabers, and the only way you could tell the difference would be in seeing one cut something in half. I doubt a person in this society would believe a light saber being waved at the front door of a starport would be anything but a toy lightsaber. They would have to see a lightsaber actually working to believe it was real and take action as if it were real.

JEDI ISSUE:

why not implent a filter which allows to turn off a whole charcater (evev the charcater itself). so i will just have a ignore list of 200 jedi and i ll be happy
