There's certainly lots of toys that look like guns in this society. Some of them are so real looking that you can't tell if they are real until they fire a stream of water at your faceinstead of bullets.

Try going to the nearest major airport with a realistic looking toy gun. Wave it in the air in plain sight of security personel and scream, "None of you can touch me!".

Then come back and tell us what happened.... or I guess we would see it on the news anyhow.

After watching that LAPD video last week, you'll get the same response if you're unarmed with your hand and legs spread on the ground, too. You think the LAPD was worried about TKAs?

Issue: Bazzar and Vendors, Resources are not displaying the resource name or quantity. This is new as of Pub 9. This is very very very bad. It makes buying resources exceedingly tedious. Please make sure that somewhere in the main list is displayed the resource name and quantity.

While I'm at it, please add the ability to sort resources by subcategory (i.e. show me only STEEL within Inorganics). That'd be super.

Well I know this has been mentioned already but the display of resourses on vendors and the bazaar REALLY need to be reverted. The bazzar as it is now is useless for buying resourses who wants to click though pages of carnivore meat to find the right type and ammount.

I can't believe you guys tookthe time tocode tool kits to buy from junk dealers. 10 items and return it later for 1000 credits. WOW!!!! Please, you insult my gamerness. Isn't there more important things to be working on? Like bugs? Like making everyone specials work? First a wasted upgrade to ID, some crappy droids, and now more wasted time. I don't really see a single thing this patch does for most people or myself. If exiting a bike no longer warps me, it is the only thing that I will think is good about this patch.

In an advanced tech society, there would be lots of ways they could createa visual illusionsimilar to real lightsabers forkiddie toy lightsabers, and the only way you could tell the difference would be in seeing one cut something in half. I doubt a person in this society would believe a light saber being waved at the front door of a starport would be anything but a toy lightsaber. They would have to see a lightsaber actually working to believe it was real and take action as if it were real.

I wanted to add an important point... this is NOT a bad game balance issue. This is a bad ROLEPLAYING issue. If you guys want to allow some policing of bad roleplaying in SWG, us roleplayers would be more than happy to enthusiastically support it. Characters running around with names like "The Rock" and "sCrIptKiDDiE" are no less disruptive to the playing environment than these waved lightsabers. How about a TEFwhen people shouting out scores of Yankees and Pistons games?

You know when you can tell that your player base is disenheartened?

When someone, like myself, opens a "Reply" window to post about some issues with the patch, then stops and figures "what's the use" and doesn't.

Argh, the weapon switch delay sux. I cannot imagine being a BH, but have read their frustrations and feel them myself. I don't care if it is something that is now working as it should or not, but we are now spoiled to the old system and want it back. Dont be an Indian giver!

I see your point, but why add insult to injury? Especially when it involves an icon of the universe the game is played? Doesn't that affect everyone?

I'm a good roleplayer. I've been playing P&P RPG since the first D&D hard cover handbook was released in the 70's. IF I had a Jedi character, I would not be running around wavingmy lightsaberfor no reason. However, there is nothing that can be done to force someone to cooperate. This is strictly a roleplaying issue. When you have roleplaying games that refused to address roleplaying issues, this is what happens.
