YEAH **edit** make the robes invisible to normal people and they see us wearing brown cloaks and the jedi can see us with our robes

Haden Blackman: We're purposefully holding back information on Force Sensitivity and Jedi because we want Jedi to be rare and mysterious. We don't have a "target" for the number of Jedi or Force Sensitives in the game; again, since it's a rather organic system, it's not something we want to try to control through any numerical limits. It will be interesting to see what happens in Beta, though.
In terms of the Jedi system and information about it, if we find that we're being too restrictive, we can always loosen up later - it's much more difficult to tighten controls after launch.
Dan Rubenfeld: Jedi can't just run around attacking players at will. Like all player characters, they can attack members of the opposite faction -- so, a Rebel-aligned Jedi can attack an Imperial character. While Jedi Masters are powerful, attaining that status is a rough road, so we don't expect Jedi Masters to dominate the game.
Today...
The Jedi Ranking System is an entirely new level of Jedi vs. Dark Jedi PvP gameplay that is above and beyond what existed in the old system. Now, upon completion of the Jedi Knight Trials, a Jedi will be flagged permanently Overt members of their faction; Light Jedi will be flagged Rebel faction and Dark Jedi will be flagged Imperial faction. These changes are part of a new type of experience created for PvP encounters as Light and Dark Jedi clash in exciting battles in order to gain or hold Force Ranking. Killing members of the opposite faction will increase this Force Ranking number, yet killing the same person over and over will only yield experience for the first kill. To maintain a balance in the Force, there is a decay timer that must complete its duration before the dueling Jedi can again get experience for killing that same player.

JEDI have SHI-T!!!!!! to do with pvp system, you're talking about THE FACTION SYSTEM.

But after pub9 came out all you see is jedi knights EVERYWHERE. being an impi like to fight in some pvp. but now all you see is jedi every stalking you killing you every second. Just look at the intrepid server there is aleast 3 jedi knights in each city. SO if any imps want to do some pvp the little knights come around and kill y ou in like 5sec flat, not a chance. this is getting waaaay out of hand. Soon there will be nothing but jedipvping. let me ask you in the star wars moives/books how manytimes did you see a jedi justrun up topeople in the city and kill the.pvp is the only way to get someenjoyment in the game now its lame. why should the most powerful players be allowed to just run rampid on us. A bit big, but direct to the point. The current status of Jedi in the game is ruin the feeling of the era. If Jedi is allowed to run around fighting lightsabre duels without fear of repressals from the Empire it is rediculous.
Also the Jedi is over powered and have no restrictions, from what I have seen, in how they may behave.
All Jedi should be forced to behave according to Jedi code (dark or light) or start lose Jedi skill boxes. They should also go blue glowie (or red for the evil ones) when they die. They should be forced to remain in that state fora week, unless of course you once again reintroduse the permadeath for Jedi. If a Jedi Die and enter glowie stat they should only be visible for those with open forceslot, and only be able to comunicate with these. They should also be incapable of physical/forceinteraction with anyone else.
You need to introduce the Imperial hunt for Jedi. They should pass though every city and check all they see for force powers. If you have them you should get attacked by an overwhelming force, which should include Darth Vader if you have good force skills (just make him invincible, and able to stop anyone from running away). Then maybe we should start having a little resemblence to the era we are supposed to be in, with Jedi HIDING from the Empire instead of running around lightsabre dueling in starports.
