Along with all of the other thoughts and ideas about making shuttle easier or faster lets add these two along with those others.

1. The Ticket Collector does either a city wide annoucement or a localyell annoucing arrival, 1 minute to departure, and finally taking off. These will give players more knowledge when it comes to catching a transport. This would mianly focus on Transports rather then the local shuttles but maybe have the shuttle collectors do the same thing but on a much small say scale.

2. Letting the players buy destination tickets rather then just sectional tickets. Exp... From Naboo you buy a ticket to Dantooine and in doing so the Ticket Terminal gives you all corosponding tickets for that flight at one time. This will help dramatically cut down on wait times in the Starports do to the simple fact some people have better or worse computers and connections for the game along with lag to miss these rides because they arrive and respond slower to getting new tickets for the next leg of the journey.

I support server merging of some sort for the betterment and longevity of the game and it's player community!

How about spam flood control? If someone yells/shouts/says something with more than twice in a minute, it only appears in a flood channel and in the text bubble above their head. Although people could set up /tellpet commands, so that not everyone would have to go switching out make pets listen to the flood channel for commands as well as spacial.

Begging for Politician content! Politician is a skill point sink. You get no benefits that add to the gaming experience.

The Politician correspondent has dropped master politician and is now 1/1/1/4. If the correspondent is dropping most of the profession, maybe it says something.

i had heard rumors of a rebel at-st equivelent. are you guys discussing this, or was this just made up. either way, it would be a great idea. i know that imperials are seriously outnumbered by rebs in the game, but pvp wise things aren't that offset. would be nice for there to be some even ground, when it came to a 60k+ ham pet.

I would like to see new house styles where theroofs can be accessed which have shorter walls so you can look down to the ground from all sides .

Also I think that it would be nice to be able to place items on your balconiesand roofs.

Something to think about

Wastoid,

I completely dropped merchant, (I didn't have master merchant.) I still have a NPC type merchant greeting people with a custom greeting, even though if I made a merchant now, I'd be stuck with a robo-bartender or vending machine, and no greeting of any kind.

I suspect that politician is the same, that once something is set, there are no tests to see if the mayor is eligable to have that as the bonus.

Probably not for a bit. We're more focused on how to get more people on the existing servers.

Yes. These items are going to be considered in an upcoming publish. There are a lot of low level programming things happening to improve bazaar and vendor functionality and use-ability. Once that's done, we're going to pick up the bazaar and merchant discussions. DocSavag (merchant Correpsondent) has done a great job at bringing me the merchants and player perspective and we based a lot of it on the long threaded discussion that was posted (its in the archive now).

The current servers are very lagged. If you ever played two accounts on two servers this is very clear. There is anywhere from a 3 to 10 second lag between what happens on one screen and what happens on another. In the FPS world, this would be horridly unacceptable and the game would fail hard. Lucky for SOE they are in a different game genre that is kinder to laggy servers. Dantoonie and Lok remain rather lagged, although they have improved as of late. The focus doesn't need to be on getting a new server open, but it certainly shouldn't be on getting more people on the existing servers when the existing servers have moretrafficload than they can handle. The focus needs to be on improving server response time and adding in more content so everything doesn't seem so saturated. There are a few places in the game like Rori or Talus that are ghost planets. So there is room in the current game for both more content and players, but the servers can't handle anymore load than what they have until they are upgraded.

First I have noticed huge improvements in the vendor server response time. It is actually function even during peak hours. It still isn't there yet. It can lag a minute or more at times still. It is getting there, but it isn't there yet. Better searching abilities would be nice for the regular bazzar and people's vendors. Maybe tie it into the new droids some how where they can be search to see what is available and then someone can head out to the actual vendor. Either that or have a master merchant listing in the regular bazaar where people can search all items on their vendors from anywhere in the galaxy.

This is very good news. As someone that just spent an hour and a half in-game rearranging and repricing items on vendors any fixes/enhancements that make lifeless tediousare welcome.

Is there any news on a player city "bazaar" viewer? While it's understandable that you do not want to bring bazaar functionality to Player Cities to keep some reliance on Static Cities, it would be nice to at least be able to view the bazaar before you head out travelling to see what is there (or possibly purchase and then pick up).

For instance, right now if I am in a player city on Naboo I'll take a shuttle to Theed to just get a look at the bazaar. That's great if there happens to be some there, but if it's in Keren, Theed just became a useless stop. If we could at least view the bazaar from player cities we could go directly to our destination saving unneeded travel/expense yet still retaining bazaar functionality.

Hi there! My name is Fenyx andI have been a Master Merchant for some time now. I am also a master tailor and mannequins have been brought up in the tailoring forum.

I would like to see a choice to create mannequins via architect or artisan (artisan would be better but not master cuz Im not one *smile) So that tailors may show off their merchandise. I am aware of vendors having the ability to wear clothing for i customize them all the time. However vendors are limited:

1.Tomy knowledge if you put a hat on a vendor you cannot remove it unless you remove the vendor entirely.

2. vendors cannot be custom made via ID. Mannequins would have that option or at least introduce that into the vendor options.

3. Clothes are not retrieveable when you add new clothes to the vendor... mannequins should as well as vendors have this option.

I would like to see mannequins have the same characteristics as a vendor such as paying maintenance on them, having lil or no animations, carrying weapons, etc.

Has this been brought up already? Is this a good idea for merchants to have this ability?

Just some questions and ideas

Thanks

I very much like the mannequin idea. Another limitation of vendors: you can only have them if you're a merchant, and you need Master Merchant to have up to 6 of them. For a tailor who wants to display a bunch of different outfits, this would be insufficient.

I would love to see a way the merchent can make credits by putting things on consiment. Basicly renting out the vendors to others.
