Can we say PvP party??

"Men have less hesitation about offending one who makes himself loved than one who makes himself feared, for love is held together by a chain of obligation which, because man is sadly wicked, is broken at every opportunity to serve their self-interest, but fear is maintained by a dread of punishment which never abandons you."

I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the team for getting this done. Thank you Thunderheart for going in there and fighting for us despite the fact we were hopping mad about about the error. We appreciate your diligence and the hardwork you do on our behalf.

Now let's go hunt some rebels!!

Might I suggest that decay be replaced with wounds.... Ex: Whenever someone clones they suffer 25% of their ham bars in wounds + 100 battle fatigue if cloned in that facility; 50% wounds and 150 BF if they are not cloned in that facility. This inflicts a death penalty, in that the person who dies has only 3-4 deaths before they have to spend some MAJOR time with doctors and entertainers, and it prevents clone wars.

It also provides a VERY MUCH needed market for doctors and entertainers, ESPECIALLY in raid groups. In order to have a successful raid in enemy territory, you will HAVE to have doctors and entertainers present to ... -snip-

Apparently you haven't PvPed recently.

Between disease and flame I frequently have 3/4 or more wounds on my HAM bars. Those two (disease and flame) also give you huge BF - so as it stands, I don't think we really need clone induced wounds.

Though, I guess another 25% wouldn't be a big deal when I already have 844 out of 845 mind wounds.

OMG, we won...

There was perhaps no other issue I ever felt so strongly about to put my account on the line. Sure there are still some bugs that need to be worked out and the combat revamp but these are things it is much more easy to be patient with. It had gotten to the point where I left my armor in the house and we know that not even using armor or buying any because of decay was not going to help armorsmiths. Armor is so important to PvP.

I applaud the dev team for realizing how importantthis issue, what must have been seen as a small thing, was to the players who actively PvP. I also appreciate them letting me off the hook on an issue I took a very strong stand on as I really do enjoy this game and I do appreciate the work they do to make it even better. It really is a amazing accomplishment to produce a game of this magnitude. Thank you.

So even though the very title of the thread states that "1% decay will be gone" it ISNT gone at all, and works in a way that isnt even expressed to us here. Could a dev please clarify how "gone" it actually is?

Now everybody, remember, don't forget to insure! If you do not insure your items will probably still decay the full 5%.

BUY INSURANCE!

Thanks for the change guys. This is how insurance should have worked from the start! Good job!

Woot this is the kind of comm. we like to see!

Now let's put our heads together on some sort of Han-out-of-carbonite clone sickness and some tangible benefit to going Overt instead of just abusing the GTEF system...
