Thought of a few other things I've seen the past week or so bug-wise.....

If you type /waypoint to create a waypoint for your current location it creates a waypoint in your datapad for -1, -2 instead of your current location. You can still type /waypoint followed by your current coordinates to create a location.

People on your friends list not always showing up as online when they are. It only happens with certain people, and it is not a 100% of the time kind of thing. Removing them from your friends list and then adding them again sometimes resolves the problem. It may be a two-way thing: at one time one of the people on my list that I was having this problem with was having the same problem with my name on their list.

Exiting a vehicle too close to a building can sometimes make the vehicle unable to be accessed: you cannot use the radial menu to store or mount and you cannot type /mount without recieving a message about being too far away to mount even if you are right on top of it. The only way to store is to use your datapad. Once it's stored you can pull it again without problems. This has happened to a few other people I know, too.

Hello TH, since you didn't have time to reply in last week thread i'll repost here.

Hope you answer this time

1) Is there an ETA on the new FSCS unlock?

There wont be an unlock - - the whole system is being revamped. Its going to work differently than it does now. I am working on a Jedi revamp article, but it will be a bit of time. I have to finish drafting it and get some peer review on it.

2) a couple of weeks back you said that most of the jedi grinders didn't understand something important to the path, and suggested you could post about it if you were allowed to...well can you post about it?

No. I won't talk about those things.

3) You said that the FSCS had not changed since publish 6, however the flood of unlocks that was seen i the weeks previous to that publish has trickled down to very very few (and the number of pros that had to be mastered went way up on those unlocks). are there any logical reason the devs are aware of that weare not?

Not that I know of...

TH,

I really get the feeling that you're losing touch with the players. As time passes, your posts are reflecting more and more of an attitude attuned to the Devs' point of view, rather than that of the players'. When you were brought on board, you were the players' voice, our direct link to the developers. You kept us informed. Now your posts are becoming vague. It seems since the new forum design was implemented, more times than not we get responses from you informing us which thread the comments are more suited for, or that you will only consider addressing our comments if they are filtered to you through correspondents, rather than acknowledgement of our concerns and/or a gameplan to address these concerns. I for one miss the old TH.

Thunderheart,

Ichange my professions tag from Master Doctor to None, leaving me with no professiontag under my name.

I logout with no profession tag under my name.

I login with the Master Doctor tag under my name.

Because the gamedoesnt ever save theNone choice before logging out, I get 10 tells asking "you buff?"

Any chance of this being fixed in the near future? Its very annoying.

When I choose None, When I login the next day it should still be set to None and not reverted back to the last profession tag I choose before I set it to None.

This game has no longer became fun for me. I do not see it ever getting better. Goodbye Tempest and Eclipse. Salute SiN Guild.

TH

are you guys making any progress on the 'NPC stuck in wall' bug?

I've been trying to gain Jabba faction since COA III went live by hunting Valarians particularly in the slums of Mos Eisley, but they are almost 100% always stuck in the walls and therefore unatackable... plus no others will spawn since the area is spawn-capped (new word? )

I asked numerous CSRs via in-game ticket if they could do anything like 'unstick' 'despawn' 'suicide' the NPCs in question, but they said they could not...

if you guys are unable to get the primary problem fixed soon could you at least enable CSRs to do something like this?
ALSO another temporary solution (at least in the location of Mos Eisley) would be to move the spawn location 100m outside the city.... where there are no walls!.... no walls means NPCs cannot get stuck in said-nonexistant-walls

thanks

I experienced the following bug last night that is quite frustrating:

After hours of dancing I finally earned enough xp to have the Dancing Knowledge 4 box trained. I got it trained, updated my macro to do the exotic2 dance and then went to bed. A few hours later I woke up to go to the bathroom and checked my status in the game. I had now received enough xp to learn dancing techniques 1. So I had someone teach it to me. Then made sure I was still dancing and went back to bed.

About 6am, I woke up and checked the game again and was just standing there with the message to the effect of 'you are not skilled enough to do that dance'. So I checked my skill boxes, and the dancing knowledge 4 box was now UNTRAINED, but the techniques 1 box was still trained. So somehow in that time period, I lost a skill box and all of the xp (and time) it took to train it.

I know I didn't accidentally surrender it, because i made sure i was still dancing when i went back to bed after learning the techniques 1 box. And it couldn't have been a server roll back because I would've lost both skill boxes.

Has anyone else had a problem with skill boxes 'unlearning'? I'm really ticked off now that I have to spend all that time relearning that box.

Ive noticed that my harvestors are starting to degrade even when i still have a positive balance of cash in my maintenance pool and showing a days worth of run time. Another annoying bug is that I wont get a notification of a serious degredation of my harvestor untill its down to 25% or lower. I dont play everyday and here lately im lucky to play once a week. I keep my harvestors with enough maintenance to run for 6 to 7 days (this forces me to get on atleast once a week . But, its really annoying to log on check my harvestors to find out its going to take 1500 or better for repairs when they have almost that much in the maintenance pool.

Am I the only one that is having this issue. I havent sifted throgh all the threads to see, and no I wont... dont have the time... so here is my one post about the issue.

Thanks

8) THIS THREAD --- have you noticed that the thread gets smaller every week. why do you think that is Kurt?

Just thought I would answer you, since no SOE employee will. This thread gets smaller and smaller, each week, because PAYING CUSTOMERS are getting tired of voicing their opinions and complaints and being IGNORED, which leads to these same PAYING CUSTOMERS deciding to CANCELtheir ACCOUNTSand QUIT PAYING MONEY to SOE.

So, Kurt, I'll ask a similar question...noticing any trends, lately?

TH,

I belive the majority of us appreciate your efforts but there are 2 HUGE issues have you haven't responded to (4 weeks and running).

1) Is the Jedi un-lock system changed? Your last answer has left the community confused.

2) Will the DEV's please concentrate on fixing the known BUGS instead of changing/breaking the game and new content

"Shuttle destination screens are broken again!", "You can't Burst Run while running!"

Here's my impersonation of Thunderheart...

1) Not at all. Players are just missing something important.

2) We're constantly concentrating onthe known bugs.

Now, the truth...

1) Probably not. The "thing that players are missing" is probably some type of mathematical equation of skill points used, POIs, professions mastered/dabbled in, and starting profession. (Of course, I'm probably wrong.)

2) Yeah, they're constantly concentrating the known bugs...concentrating on ignoring them, just like they ignore our comments, ideas and suggestions.

Kurt, you or a Mod can ban my forums account for stating this, but... SOE's, SWG's Dev Team, SWG's Forums Moderators', and SWG's CSRs attitude towards PAYING CUSTOMERSis directly oppositionalof customer satisfaction and its precepts.

If you go buy a new car, pay the car lot for the car, but are told that your power windows won't be installed for two weeks...are you going to want your money back or are you just gonna suck it up and deal with it?

What if, after those power windows are installed, you find that you can only roll down one window and it only rolls down two inches? Going to start complaining?

Once everything is worked out with your power windows and you get in, roll down the windows and find out that the stereo either no longer works or just won't work with the windows rolled down...what then?

THIS IS WHAT THE DEVS ARE DOING TO US!!! FOCUS ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thunderheart, I posted on last weeks round table, with no response ... there is a serious issue with publish 7s crafting nerf.

I will irriterate At this point on intrepid alone, there are 260 + accounts from crafters that are ready to say bye to SWG if no one will listen to them.

Everyone figures the CSRs and DEVs just don't care and will do whatever they like, I hope this is not true and you guys will listen to the community on this nerf ... PLEASE LISTEN TO THE PLAYERS !

I've been reading the thread since this morning with GarVa.

The team met late last week and we're working on a long post. It should be up some time this week, but its dependent on the folks putting it together.

WE NEED CONFIRMATION

That when the new FS unlock method changes were will get FULL credit for the hundreds (or thousands) of hours of grinding we have done under the currentpoorly designed system. I'm on #24 and I sure as hell won't contiune playing if I don't get credit for every second I spent on this grind.

That was stated when it was first announced (whatever the original post was) that credit for grinding and such would be given.

Astu (Valcyn)

It was stated that "credit" would be given for progress under the current system. That doesn't even come close to saying enough. Do my 24 professions represent the same work as someone who has done 4 holo professions?

The ACTUAL quote read: (It should also be noted that players who have put in work towards becoming a Jedi will not lose their effort. Some sort of recognition of players' efforts will be included in the new system.)

Now to me, that doesnt instill much confidence in me. That is a far cry from CREDIT.. Seem like hollow platitudes to me.

Can you say a badge or some other sorta dorkness. Im with the previous guy. I havent ground thru 23 professions, and plans to finish off all 31 if i have to, to become a jedi, just to have them yank the carpet out from under me when im grinding the 31st profession. And as for it NOT unlocking.. meaning the main character.. Im a friggin wookiee, how much would THAT sux ballz. The whole reason im a grinding mad man, is so i can finally have a KEWL and playable character.

BTW the link for the announcement is:

Issue: Why do items i pick up from my house (one in Corellia and one in Tatooine) disappear from my inventory after I leave the house? They reappear again the next day but it is soooo annoying. One time Ipicked upmy armor, put it on, ran out of the house and next thing you know I was running around in my undies. (Is this one of those boundary related problems?)

Issue: My mount stops following me after I dismount.Pets that are not mounted follow me though.

I did a /bug report already...just wondering if Publish 7 got fixes for these issues.

TH, I LOVE YOU! ok now can you do this for me?

solve the debate and set our minds at ease.

1) Has the # of silent professions gone up?

I think that answering this simple question would put the community at rest and help elminate some of the frustration for those that are on profession #20+. Heck it might even knock down the price of jedi accounts on a certain auction site( which by the way disgusts me, haves vs. have nots).
