Hmm, i dont got this problem on my dancer character. I have a male wooky dancer (maybe thats the catch?), and the worst that ever happened to me was someone asking me how to distinguish between male and female wookys.

I don't recall having problems but most my exp comes at night while I sleep so it would be a wasted effort on their part anyway. It makes me wonder if the jerks realize there are male dancers in the real world. I'm sure they watch 'em all the time on MTV.
When I need a mind buff I don't really care where it comes from, male or female. All I need is the buff. If they were smart they would think the same. Do they really think females are behind all those avatars?

I haven't had any problems, in fact I have seen a bit of support as a male dancer. I figure as long as you stay away from the more feminine dances (lyrical, exotic, etc) you don't get as much bs from other immature players. Due to cheffing, I don't dance in the cantinas as much, however when dancing when waiting for shuttles or in buff lines I will usually get a 'Go Eerif' when doing poplock or popular.
I have always fallen in with the other entertainers though. Spent most of my time in SWG in entertainer guilds. It's true what they say about the dance partner, but watch out, a lot of ladies have claws

As a straight guy IRL that performs in community theatre, I agree with this one completely. I find it funny that the sports athletes, who spend most of their time with other guys, look down on those of us "artistic" types. I think I'd rather be kissed on stage by the pretty girls than tackled by the 350 pound linebacker any day of the week. But hey, that's just me.

Hi there!
I just started a male dancer character ( in reality I am a girl:smileyhappyand made some very bad experience....
While dancing in the cantina, other male players started to call me names and spit on me.
I wasJUST dancing, I was wearing pantsand was not hitting on any guys...(not even dancing near them)
So why all this hatred???
This happend to me a coupple of times in just a couple hours of playing! I tried to react very diplomatic but no use.
I don't feel like playing this character again, since it made me very upsetand also it also makes me wonder how good the SWGalaxies community really is?!
We may be blue or green, hairy or bold, 8 feet tall or two feet small but we all share the same galaxy... so please be tolerant!
Stop the male dancer bashing!
Dancer should not be a female proffession but sadly seems like it.
Males mostly select to be musician than to be dancer. As a female, I can say it seems odd and not funny seeing a male dancer dancing exotic.Because it is not really entertaining. You know what I mean. It is not about being male, it ispoor design of Devs that males would look bad with many dances.
No offense here please. I completely agree that community in our world (so in game) is not quite ready for many things. When I am with my male dancer friends we used to dance popular2 just not them to look like not-males.
