I found a simply solution to get them to shut up, by embarrasing them in font of anyone, if you dont know what this emote does, try it next time . . . . . /tiny

I use to have a few issues with immature guys making rude remarks to me and I handled it the way most others here did. In fact I use to use most these guys homophobia to my advantage when I saw them harrassing female dancers. I'd start hitting on and making advances toward whoever was harrassing the female dancer.. or anyone else for that matter, and I'd gross them out to the point they'd run away so they could go check and make sure they weren't gay. 
Female players and Dancers typically appreciate a good male dancer tho, which helps a lot. If your a known male Dancer thats been around a long time it usually tells most women that your a very secure person with who you are and don't let others get to you. Women find that sort of thing attractive in a guy. They also tend to find guys in little clothin dancing sexy also attractive, but thats on a different level. I've been a straight Male playing a Male Dancer since the first day of release.. I have5 Master Dancers right now on different servers.. No matter how ignored we are its the people that keep me coming back. I love the entertainer community, their the best people in the game.

My biggest complaint with male dancers isn't insults.... its lack of cloths!!! They even denied us the slave skirt!! </cry>

As a female dancer who absolutely loves the profession, I would personally love to see more male dancers out there. I find male dancers beautiful, strong, and absolutely masculine. (Yes.. I am female and a fan of Baryshnikov.. *drool* hehe) I find those who degrade male dancers disgusting cretins who basically need to get a life. If I happen to be online and dancing with some of my male counterparts, and witness such behaviour, it makes me flirt with my male counterpart all the more, just to prove that male dancers are scrumptious, and it would be a cold day in hell before I would offer my time or energy to even speak to people spouting off such nonsense. *smiles sweetly*
Totally off kilter, I can't wait to see the time come for dual dance routines.. I would positively adore being able to have a male counterpart waltz with me, or do ballet with me (all of those elegant lifts! *sighs*). One can only hope.. of course if that time comes I need a partner *eyes Tiaga with a grin*

Hmmm ok I keep reading about how the lady dancers like the male counter-parts and to dance with them but I have yet to be asked to partner up for a dance..../cry
I figure the women take too much harrasement from men as it is so I tend not to bother them but would love it if the female dancers wanted to partner up!! It's so much more enjoyable and just looks stunning.
I have asked a couple of dancers but I have to have a few Vas Brandies in me first
So ladies ask those male dancers to partner up too
Edit****hmmm on second thought my toon may be skank ugly and dances like Richard Simmons on crack which may be the issue***

I play a male dancer and I never get mistaken for a female and so far have had no homophobic remarks. Then again, if I told you that my dancing macro is titled "David Brent", you'd get the idea. Last night I got called an idiot by some guy although to be fair, I was on Tatooine talking about what a scorcher of day it had been. I did respond by saying "I'm an idiot? I'm not the one walking around the desert in a trenchcoat!"
I do decry the fact that I don't get tipped very often which I think is mainly because there are, at times, more ATK entertainers than clientele in the cantina which means there's not a lot of interaction. Some have and thanked me for being ATK. Others don't get the fact that I try to roleplay and chatter away in character about my history and what's going on. (Spoke to one person last night about the drinks behind the bar and they thought you could buy buffing drinks from the barman... /sigh)
It would be nice to have more involvement and to have people talk back to you but then I suppose it's a bit much to expect everyone who's an uber l337 gamer to have finely honed social skills too!

You may have a point probably doesn't help either when you're playing "Western" and I shout "yeehaw...I want to saddle Elwyn up and ride him like my Bronco of love!!".

I don't really get problems of any other master dancer. Maybe it has to do with Something with Eclipse being the unoffical Lesiban and 2nd Unoffical Gay server *after Starsider duh*

I'm glad you found it funny. Don't take us seriously. Ytoavee and myself regularly group to play tunes and have a laugh. We both enjoy the opposite sex but like to have a laugh at our own expense and help each other with things like the enterainer quests and missions. It's friends that make the game, as weall know, and Yto has become a real bud.
Now any ATK female dancers on Corbantis that want to have a good time, I love having a line of pretty ladies dancing in front of our little band in Theed cantina. I promise to try and flirt with each and every one of you.

Haha yes.....now if we could get Panthu and the rest of these wonderful ladies to see that Corbantis is the hotbed for LIVE HOT MALE entertainment then we'll be set.
I can promise you that Elwyn WILL flirt with you in a nice mature adult fashion. We like to play good cop bad cop. In the end it's all good since someone ends up handcuffed and put in the back of an AV-21. From there well you just have to stop by and find out...
