Nice list As a non-dancer I would have to say that the AFK thing is a big issue. Before the massive influx of Xmass AFK holodancers Cantinas were a fun place to hang out and meet people, now I find myself in a Cantina with 15-20 dancers but maybe only a couple actually present. This makes me feel less inclined to tip and less bothered to try to talk to people and much less likely to take up dancing again (which I would really like to do). The idea of dancing your way through Jabba's palace is nifty too, long as you avoid being fed to the Rancor

8 months later I would still love to have master rewarded with fully flourished dances rather than only 2.

Why, Why, Why did the developers finish the basic low level dances and do so little for master?

Has anyone ever explained why? I think we at least deserve a why, it's easy enough and requires them to do nothing except explain what they were thinking. They would not have gotten away with making the best combat maneuvers available to the weapon classes of marksman and brawler.

During my entire climb to Master Dancer, I went afk once for a half an hour when I made a trip to the grocery store. I was so close that I couldn't bear to let those 30 minutes go by without getting even closer. So, considering the amount of time that is spent, I really wouldn't say I went afk to get Master Dancer. Even if there was nobody to talk to I was always playing around with flourishes and techniques because I'm one of the weird people that actually thinks it's fun to watch my character do his thing and mix it up for hours on end. Heck, I rarely even used macros. I was always there typing /flourish 1, /flourish 2, and hitting F3 and F4 for spotlights, and smokebomb. Call me crazy, but I actually enjoyed the whole process.

As to the questions to be answered. I think the "dancers only thing" can be expanded to go beyond clothes. After all, it feels more and more like we are being pushed to the outer fringes. I mean, how many dancers actually get to go out into the field to use their dancing skills? Nobody really cares about carrying a dancer along to heal mind wounds in camp, it's just not worth the effort, especially now that docs can do the same exact thing, which I find to be infuriating. I'm one of those dancers who doesn't want to spend all of their time in the Cantina. I want to go out and see things. Sometimes I'd pathetically say, "err, um, I can heal your mind wounds if you take me along." lol Who cares was the unspoken response.

So, what can we do that others can't? We can heal battle fatigue and we can do a mind buff. That's it. Both are Cantina based, which is fine. But, I really wish we could do these things in camp. And, as far as the mind buffing goes, there are people looking for them. But, because of the time constraints many people choose to eat food or even use spices. So, we really don't have the corner marketed on the mind buff thing either. That leaves battle fatigue I guess. A necessary thing that involves 3 minutes in the Cantina without a word or a tip because those of us who are Masters are so good at it.

Some may argue...well, if you want to be more useful and more helpful then take up another profession. I suppose that is true. But, I thought the object was to make all professions useful, needed, and wanted. We are seriously lacking. I love dancing, and I'm a very social player. But, I still want to feel needed. Don't we all?

So, I think that dancers only stuff should involve more than just clothing. It should involve something key that we provide that makes us in demand. Something that only we can do, that won't be taken away by another profession such as medics and chefs. And, when I say that, I'm not knocking medics and chefs. They're great and deserve the same considerations. But, I kind of wish that what they provided was different than what we provided. Otherwise, what's the point of us? Yes, I'm a social player, but I also like to be involved in what's going on in regards to the grand scale and theme of the game. We sorely need a purpose, a reason to be in demand. Dancing in a Cantina for 3 minutes worth of Battle Fatigue healing is not enough, in my opinion, with the exception of those who are strictly social only players.

Of course not! The DEVs don't care about us and are not going to do anything to fix our profession. It's about time we all faced facts and decided if we're happy with the way things are or is Dancer too broken to continue with because nothing is going to be done for us.

With everyone cloning because of death decay, holodancers to deal with what BF and mind wounds do occur and chef foods for mind buffs were not needed or even really wanted anymore. Thunderheart is just going to string us along untill we finally all get fed up and leave the profession or game and stop bothering him.
