Thread: I'm so unspeakably frustrated. Beyond all comprehension.

And I guess if you have no combat skills, the moral of the story is to just get sexually harassed and hope a CSR comes by eventually? If you can't defend yourself, you're left to get deathblowed yourself and harassed more, with the benefit of being humiliated as well.
I think the moral of the story is, no player should ever feel that a dancer has "a place" and they need to "learn it" since they're a "whore." That attitude shouldn't be in this game in the first place. We are worth nothing to some folks, and they don't care about telling us so. If we don't have combat skills, I guess we just stand there and take it.
Fusch..is he still playing, Sabrick?? Looks like that was sometime ago, because I have seen Buttercup, or Lotheran around for a bit.

First: I love you guys for the support. Thank you.
Second: Do not turn my thread into a flame war on our correspondent. I have been acquainted with Deila for a long time, she is solidly anti-AFK, and anyone who does not believe that doesn't remember what her posts were like pre-correspondent. Keep in mind guys, she's much more limited now on what she can say. Whether it's accurate or not, people are going to view her as a voice of SOE, and take everything she says absolutely literally, so she has to be much more careful about her posts. But if any of you think she's not doing her job, you are flat-out wrong. And if you must voice that opinion, don't do it in this thread. It's the wrong place, the wrong time, andI find it totally inappropriate. You know who you are, and I ask that you stop.
Third: I <3 Virrago. He is awesome.
Fourth: I have no immediate plans to leave the game, although I have been playing Worlds of Warcraft some lately. This game has been my 'home' for the last year and a half, and I have a very hard time breaking ties and pulling up roots that deep. I am considering dropping dancer... it would allow me to juggle my skill points a little more effectively and I might actually be able to have an entirely combat character. I'm still thinking about it.
Fifth: There was a post earlier in this thread that said something about "wait until you get confronted by someone who thinks you shouldn't be trying to earn a living as a dancer." To you, I say: here... and here. I've posted these before, but as you can see, I have been confronted by a player who told me pretty much the exact same thing. He actually accused ME of infringing on buffbots' income. To all of you who believe THAT... I have only one thing to say:
Boo. Frigging. Hoo.

No hon, the moral of the story was if somone harasses you, friggin report the jerk for harassment.
NO ONE deserves to be treated like that. PERIOD.
Go into your holocron with ctrl H and click 'report a harassment'. Once you do that, the chat log is saved up to 10 minuites past and it's sent to the CSR office. You don't HAVE to wait for a CSR, it get's put into a queue of open issues and they deal with it in the order it was recieved.
good question quite honestly me and another entertainer who recently cancelled because of all the bull have lost complete faith in the correspondentss at this pint i only have swg to spend time with friends who still play and as soon as i can kidnap them all to wow ill be hitting the cancell button

I may be wrong about this Va-Mei, but I think Fuschia is more concerned about the way all entertainers are being treated by the people coming into the cantina wanting buffs.
I know that when I played as Sal'tee or one of my other entertainer characters I just automatically did my best to take care of the combat types as they came through the door. When they threw out an invite or asked if they could join the group I just did that for them no questions asked. Other players though, like Fuschia, take it personally when they are treated like an it instead of another player.
Whether or not you can let it go or work around it, it's a major problem. This is happening on every server with more and more regularity. New players are basically being taught to see the role of entertainer as NPC. Vet players are numbing to live entertainers and choosing to use bots for entertainment as they can avoid all player to player interaction.
What I would like to know is, where are our correspondents? What is happening between them and the developers... What issues are being discussed and considered?

I couldn't wear my master smuggler tag in any major city, or on the planet of Dantooine without getting /tells demanding slices. I recently dropped the slicing tree for the same reason. The abuse (while not as bad as this, this is sinful) was just too much to take. It's shameful that these people don't grasp the concept that this is a game of community, not Doom3.
