Thread: I'm so unspeakably frustrated. Beyond all comprehension.

LOL, even if that isthe case (which I highly doubt, sincethe health of our profession isone of her primary concerns as well), is there anything more that can be said? It's all been spelled out a thousand times over, often quite eloquently. The developers have heard our concerns. They've commented on them and have even now told us what to expect (or not expect, rather).
Yep, that's what I said. I said that I was considering unstickying the buffbot thread, as I haven't seen or heard any real new contributions to the discussion in a very long time. I have begun to wonder if it's in any of our best interests to dwell on it... has everything about buffbots, one way or another, not been said ad infinitum?
And consider it I have. You'll notice that the thread is still stickied, as in the end I decided that having it up there to steer any new bot-battlingvisitors to our forum would be preferable to starting it all over anew. Though I do admit, it pains me that our forum, where I wish we could try to focus not only on what is good about the dancer profession, but what we could evolve into, is instead headed up by a 25 page back and forthrant back about one of the nastiest things to hit our profession. Yep, I considered the notion of trying to clean up our image here a bit. Unfortunately, I think that for the time being still, that thread needs to be there. And I'm liking the tea and cookie parties that have been going on... casually directingwandering trolls and wannabe buffbotsto that thread. It's working out just fine as is.
Though I look forward to the day when I can pull that thread out of there, no longer needed or wanted, like some kind of prolonged nightmare that one day we can all wake up from.
And Fuschia's right... I remember writing many posts discussing my feelings about AFK in general, not just with entertainers. Sometimes I was more judicious, other times not. I'm a player, and have my personal feelings about every part of this game just the same as the rest of you. Difference is, I volunteered and was selected to take an intermediary role between the community here and the devs, and as the result the benefit is often that I get to take a lot of heat. Well, so be it... it's all part of it. ![]()
