Nice shot, Javy!
Er, Roho darling, I'm just appreciating the artist value and asthetics of the photo . . .

Scip, I forgot to give you your speeder. I knew there was 5 items when you traded to me, but I only had four of yours in my inventory... I forgot to check the datapad. Anyways drop me a line, next time your on Bria. I got a speeder with your name on it.

Just an idea...
Maybe when the Crawl is announced and emails sent out simply specify..
Okay, THIS week the costumes are ..xxxxxxx
Or alternately, THIS week the Color scheme is...xxxxx
Or THIS week, wear what you got....

I do that, Euclase. But I'm not sure that's what you're talking about.

I created a Novice Entertainer on Bria in order to see a crawl sometime. Tattoine was at that time of night a wasteland so I rushed to Theed. Ran into a very nice Master Dancer Bella' who offered me a set of clothes.
I will definitely be one of the non-talented newbs with no money and no ability to get their own clothes or color schemes next crawl having no spare time to put into it. If I can't grind to Master afer a year and 2 months on Kett I certainly can't do it on another server as much as I'd like to. If I didn't lose all money and possessions I'd pay the 30.00x2 for the character transfer there and back.
However now Im not sure if its not a bad idea to join in. If its too big, too confusing and organizing it is lessening the fun for everyone and the intimacy then I can understand that and I'd hate to be a burden. Perhaps cross server visitors shouldn't be encouraged any more?I could beone of the crowd cheering and clapping.

I'll refrain from making a sarcastic comment here.
But, yeah, just log on, join the /ent chat, and on your way to the place we're gathering, listen to what Javier and the group leaders are saying and usually you'll know what to do by the time you get there.
Although, just FYI, I'm a Bothan on Bria, and Eedae thinks Twi's are weird and disgustingly devoid of hair. Drygo, of course, would disagree.

HECK NO! Come dance with us! What minor issues we may have, are just that, minor! The vast majority out there havelots of fun. It's a great way to meet people, chat, and just have a good time. Cross server visitors, Bria visitors, alien visitors...everyone is welcome! Our ultimate goal is to crash the server some day with the amount of entertainers in one area!

Hehe...I don't meant to uh...criticize or anything. But, I'm not sure why it's so confusing for people. Usually when I go, I will get there and ask a couple of preliminary questions. If I don't get a response I usually just wait until people say what I'm supposed to do in Ent chat and then I act accordingly. I think most of the "confusion" stems from people not paying attention to the appropriate chat channel and being unable to follow quite simple instructions.
Of course, people running the show probably have a difficult time...the ones that are actually doing the organizing. But, I think if we all just paid a little better attention, arrived on time, maybe 15 minutes early, listened to instructions and acted accordingly, this really *could* be done very smoothly. It's just the human quotient that makes things difficult.
It reminds me of why I sometimes detest doing large scale PvP raids. Once we're actually raiding, I might have 30 minutes to an hour of fun. But, then I have to factor in the hours where I'm just waiting around before the raid being annoyed because people just don't pay attention and can't get organized. There are obvious "leaders" in any group effort, and all one needs to do is defer to that leadership. Javier, and the choreographers, and the musician leader are those leaders. And, that doesn't mean that they're running anything close to a militaristic campaign. But, in order to get to the fun, it's really a simple concept to just read your /ent chat and follow the instructions so we can all get to the fun part.
I will, say, however, that the entertainer groups I've been in have been far more organized and attentive than the PvP raids I've been in. They could learn something from us, I think.
I pretty much get there, figure out what group I'm supposed to be in, change my clothes, and voila...all in the course of 5 minutes and I'm ready to go.

Maybe THIS is where the confusiton lies for me and others.
Is a Cantina Crawl a SHOW being RUN by someone?
Or is it a party/get-together for Entertainers?
Obviously I think of it as the latter. Draygo apparentlythinks of itas the former.. I've never been to a party or social events wherepeople were expected to.... in Draygo's words...'follow quite simple instructions.'
Maybe someone like Javier needs to expond on that a little so there is a common understanding of just what the Catina Crawls ARE becasue we are clearly using different definitions.
