I am Master E / M / D
I just did the 2nd leg of the Entertainer Quest.
I got 12 people to listen to me.
I got system messages for 9 of those people... the last system message I got was that I need 1 more person to listen to me.
I got the people that weren't listed in the system messages to /stopl and then /listen again, but I never got a system message for those 3 people listening to me.
I stopped playing and talked to the TM... she said "Excellent Work. .... speak with me when you want to begin."
I was never informed of having reached popularity level 1 as others have claimed to have been told.
Now when I dialogue with the TM and tell her "Yes, I'm ready. Let's get this show on the road.", I get the same exact four dialogue options off of her... I keep choosing "yes, I'm read..." but it keeps showing me the same dialogue choices. I also tried all sorts of variations of combinations of the four dialogue choices as well as disconnecting, but I can not get her past the option above.

I think right now it's giving the 10th person the message that you've completed it, instead of you, correct? I need 2 more (0/0/3/3 NE) for the 10 so I'm going by what I was told by someone else who finished instead of what I've done myself. I'll ask when I do (should be tonight or tomorrow, if I get a chance to log over to TC. Who knows, might be fixed by then, even.).

I just succeeded at Mission Three! 
An NPC audience spawned. I got system messages saying 180 seconds... 120 seconds... etc.
The NPC audience give you hints as to what to do!
I did not start playing until the system message told me to and I still succeeded...
You can use /conv on the NPCs to talk to them from the stage 
I got 1k reward.....
going to try Mission IV

I just finished Mission IV (Advertise to 20 people).
I got system message for each person but the very last person.
It seems the system message for having entertained the 20th person is still going to that person instead of oneself.
I still completed it though and am about to try number V for the first time. o.O

I just succeeded at Mission FIVE!
An NPC audience spawned (larger than the one that spawns for mission III).
I got system messages saying 120 seconds... 60 seconds... etc. (this one only gives you 120 seconds to speak with the audience)
The NPC audience give you hints as to what to do! I am doing the music version and some of them request dances.... /bugged
I did not start playing until the system message told me to and I still succeeded... I got over 250 rating...
You can use /conv on the NPCs to talk to them from the stage
I got 1500 reward.....
going to try Mission SIX!!

I fell asleep while running a macro last night in Theed asking for 30 people to listen to me. 
..... 
..... Success!! (for Mission SIX)
I even got the system message for the 30th person who listened to me, and I got the system message saying that I had achieved Pop Rank 3
Note: When the TM first gave me this mission, she mentioned that after this there would not be anymore 'advertising' missions...
phew
going to try Mission SEVEN now... the TM says this will be my last performance............. ?

I failed mission SIX SEVEN...
The NPC audience will tell you which flourish they want to see and which song/dance they want to hear/see, but it appears to be a bit bugged because I am doing the music version and some of the NPCs are requesting dances.... none of them are requesting songs.... plus some of them don't spawn until after the timer to start is up....
p.s. I did not start playing music until the 60 second timer was up... (only 60 seconds this time)....... I achieved Audience Satisfaction of 396.

Theater Manager Quest - Mission SEVEN - FAILURE
I am doing music version.
Some of the NPC audience still request dances eventhough I am doing the music version... they should request songs.
Something big was changed since 24 hours ago... I tried this and got Audience Satisfaction of 396 , but this time (doing the same thing as last time) I got Audience Satisfaction of -95! (negative 95)
I'm thinking it has something to do with the audience wanting to see a dance when they should be wanting to hear a song.

Succeeded Mission Seven with a audience ranking of 512 on Music on TC1.
Had no problems with audience asking for dances. Most were junk though (very funny comments about tipping doctors and afk dancers but no help!). Got told three songs only. Swapped between the three and did non-stop flourishes (had a small buff to help).
Now for the bad news. The rewards haven't been coded in yet. This is the final message as of tonight: "[TESTING] A winnar is yuo!" "Reward test and items to be implemented soon."
So we still don't know what we are going to get.

Theater Manager Quest - Mission SEVEN - SUCCESS! - TC2
I am doing the music version.
I achieved an audience satisfaction rating of 398+.
I did not loose any rating during my performance this time.
Some of the NPC audience still request dances when I talk to them... they should request songs instead, since I am doing the music version and not the dance version.
Reward text and items have not been implemented yet.

FYI - The Theater Manager was not pushed live. I guess it will officially be patched in 9.X
