Well, I do have a horned rasp for a pet... it was really cool when I first got it because it really was at head-height. but as it grew it kept 'growing' up and up and up.
Still, it's a great pet, and he likes to taunt the ladies with their cats. I just wish he had animations for his tricks and he screeched once in a while like he did in the wild.
One other thing I've seen is a Master CH with three large birds (I forget which kind) and one of their tricks really does look like they are dancing. One of these days I'd really like to incorporate an animal act into my band/dance troupe's shows...

I love the snake idea. Very exotic. Also big cats. Add a waterfall and some trees and the cantina would have the jungle feel. Woud be nice if there were leopard style clothes too to go with the theme too. I can just picture it now.Wearing a leopard leotardsurround by a couple of big cats....

Well... Id like to have a Rasp that actually has animation for its tricks...
Maybe a Snake over the shoulder for Exotic...
In the other direction, pets like the Faction soldiers as Background Musicians or Dancers,
instead of a Stomtrooper, id like to have a Background-Dancer, or one that either does flourishes
alone, or copies my florishes. This might have been trained into the "Pet", like with the
playback-droids.

I just had to say that's a clever use of the patrol command. I've been CH for over a year, and I've never found any use for that command

Another nice use of the patrol command is to have three of the low level Skreechers patrol aroundmy Large Naboo house when the MCH is in. lol The house sits on top of a mountain and looks good for Haloween. lol

How about cute pets? I mean all the CH pets generally have some nastyness to them... Have you taken a close look at all the bunny creatures? They either look demonic, or have no eyes (which is kinda demonic...) the "butterflies" are more like "satan's butterflies". Even the flity birds look kinda nasty
Well, do remember until they were trained these animls were taking bites out of adventurers.
More cute pets would definitely be nice. The nunas, jax's, and flits are pretty much the limit of what I would call "Cute" pets. We could use more "domesticated" pet animals, rather than more trained "wild" animals. Where's the Star Wars 'house pets'? (and I don't want no Vornskyrr's either!)
On the pet size, I'd like to see the option of getting a "runt" pet. If you want your animal to stay small, then you can get a CH or BE to get a "runt" pet that will stay small. The stats should stay small, like a baby. The art is even already done.None of us are using our performing animals for combat anyway (or we shouldn't be). That's how I see it working.
Animals should be taught "Entertainer Trick1" as well as "Trick1". The Entertainer Trick1 is the same as a normal Trick1 except that it costs no mind from the user and doesn't heal anything on the pet. It just triggers the animation. This was a good idea.
Being able to train very small pets in "clothing" mode would be nice. Just train a flit to sit on your shoulder when you say "perch". In game mechanics has it attach to the right-bracer armor position, with no idle animation. It sits there. Very good idea. Props to whoever suggested it earlier in this thread to use the armor positions for attachment, should make the coding easier.
(you can keep your snakes though...)

Hey folks
Im a Master CH been one since first month of release last year.
I grinded dancer and musician, yea i got the disease lol anyways I have something of an understanding of your profession. I always liked this idea of pet enhancing commands for the ch profession enabling a benifit to all professions in some form.
I posted this reply to the ch forum some of it just pertains to the ch class however I am interested to know your thoughts on what bonuses/enhancements you as entertainers would desire?
please feel free to visit the Ch forum and answer this for me.
below is my reply on the ch thread
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
any level pet should be able to be taught dance's either -dance1 -dance2
truth is I would have liked this structured so it takes the ch a period of time to train them as I sad in past threads. with this and other enhancing commands. teach pet dance1 3 times a day for lets say 10-20 days (times may be adjusted) and each time the pet is tought the commant by a ch the dance last longer. when finished (danjce capped out) the pet will now dance do a 3 minute dance.
anyone could have the pet dance however if you are an entertainer you would recieve a bonus to your profession while the pet is dancing. any entertainer musician/dancer could benifit.
the bonuses could be in healling, or xp, buffing, it might be nice for an entertainer to give imput to what bonus is most needed. bonuses could be spread out along skill tree nov entertainer +5 bonus, master entertainer +10, novice mus/danc +15, master mus/danc +25 (might be nice for masters to have a buff bonus here)
as far as what skill tree and box to allow ch to teach these commands is up for debate if done the way I would like, wich is really teaching the pet over a period of time. its a little more real lifish lol and will ad substance to commands and training.

Personally, I don't want other people to be able to do the same pet tricks or "dances" we can get these pets to do. I want them to be CH/Ent certed only.
If we could do other services, like buff Tailors to be able to use more color options for three hours or IDs to be able to unlock new styles for 3 hours, then the bonus giving pets would make sense. In our current state though, I can't really think that any Ent Healing or Buffing bonus would be that great.
I mostly want them to look cute and dance with me.
A guard dog type of cert that would allow us to have a little more protection than a typical non-CH pet would offermight be cool, but it's mostly just the cute and flashy I'm wanting myself.

I understand where you are comming from Panthu, the only reason i even said that was I figured it was less work for the devs lol
to break pets/ch commandsapart might be a little difficult
hmm maybe if trained in dance the command would be voided (greyed out or just plain wont work)for non dancers/musicians not sure if its possible but worth a shot lol

My woolmander sways to match my exotic 3. Of course, woolmanders are an aggressive skin and so not usable by Non-CH.
A CH could get you a flewert or butterfly or other CL1-10 flyer. BEs are unable to make flyers or snakes.
It's a nice pipe dream to think about a pet that would only do certain tricks if the master was a CH or ent. Almost as good as master musicians/dancers self-buffing.
