Thread: Our Dancer Issues for the Devs
I have to agree with Sultrina nearly across the board. I would actually take it one step further and say that Entertainers/Musicians shouldn't be able to craft anything as well. There are an awful lot of great guitar/piano/whatever players out there that couldn't make their instrument to save their soul. On the other hand, I think there should be a branch in Artisan for entertainment items. If an Entertainer of any sort wants to craft their own stuff, they can learn the appropriate Artisan skills.
I'm not sure I like the idea of the Holo recordings. It just seems like another opportunity for an exploit that takes away from a live performer's customers. I spend a lot of time with hunting parties on Dathomir. I don't have any combat skills to speak of, but I survive ok. And I perform a useful service for them by dancing in camps while we are out in the bush to heal mind wounds and buff, and then being available to heal BF when the group heads back to the outpost for more missions. I'd hate to be replaced in that situation by a simple Hologram.

I like the list of concerns, well done. Hee's another thought about buffing.
How about a buff system revamp so that there is a short-duration, legal, planned, artistically considered buff method? Like a one minute buildup to a 30-second mesmerizing spin (dance) or 30-second horn flourish (music) so that our customers get a buff convenient enough to be a good food alternative, and we get to actually perform in an appealing way to apply it quickly?
And it would be really great if there were no /slash command for it so you had to be atk to do it.
I have been a Master Dancer/TKM since the game opened and now I have finally had enough. Dancers can no longer heal their own battle fatigue. A stealth nerf on Dancers? I had to stop dancing and listen/watch someone else to heal my battle fatigue. That's thelast straw. My friends told me to drop dancera long time ago, and now I'm finally convinced.

No, this is a flakey bug. I'm having a hard time recreating it. Sometimes I have to start/stop a few times to kick it in. Silly who is in combat more than I am has a really hard time with it getting hung. It's just a bug, not a stealth nerf. Also not new... I do agree it's annoying.
Try leaving your group and start/stopping if it happens again. I'll post a new thread about it in the Correspondent forum too, the 15 sec delay after a stop now might be compounding this more.
Panthu,
Is there a known issue with /bandflo? I found that I had turned it off at some time in the past. After turning it on I was able to successfully /bandflo once. Since that time, I've tried toggling it several times and not been able to /bandflo. Regardless of whether I call the /bandflo or another group member does, my character does not flourish. Others in the group flourish, even when I call it. I left a post regarding this and received a reply that /bandflo has been having problems for a while. I've not found any reference to this elsewhere (although I've not had the time to go far back in thread history).Has this been reported to the devs?If so, have theyresponded to notification of it?
I had one buff fail yesterday. The first time I tried to buff a friend after the patch, the first buff didn't take. The second time..everything done the same as the first..he was buffed fullyfor 2 hours. At the time, he and I were the only ones in the cantina so I know he wasn't watching a musician. It was an active buff. He mentioned that entertainers in his PA were telling him on TS that they were having problems too. I didn't ask for details. Later in the day I successful buffed my hunting party in camp, passive buff. Is something broken here?
Thanks for your feedback,

Thank you for that. Hmm. Pondering. How about some decent dancer missions from the entertainer terminal? A masterTKA can make 20k in 15 minutes destroying two Fambaa lairs on Naboo. The risk is minimal. I know because I am a TKM/Master Dancer. How about they give dancers a few 10k missions? Take a flight to Kaadara, perform for a party for 15 minutes, and collect 10k? The master TKA collects meat, bone, hide and also gets well paid. Why must we be poor? Well, enough of that. As a TKM I can collect all the money that I need doing combat jobs. I was just after a little change.

"Denial of service enchantments: The only change I support here is removing the command from the game entirely."
If that's your opinion, then you are obviously missing the entire point of this game and it's place in the SW timeline. Involved yourself in the GCW and then decide whether or not the /denyservice command needs improvements. The fact that I have to individually type in the name of each member of the opposing faction that I happen to fight against, or see people in my group fighting against , is extremely annoying. After a round of PvP when the group heads to the Cantina to heal up I spend more time adding /denyservice names than I do getting coordinated with my group for the next round of combat.
