**faints**

I have not seen a fledgling entertainer for almost a year. I wish them the best, and hope they enjoy the profession as we do. But those cute little red shoes... it always baffles people when they see them on display and then ask my why there is no crafter listed as having made them...

ROFL

That about sums it up.

Of course, I can't help but be cynical about this 'announcement'. I'm living in fear that they're going to say "Guess what! We're getting rid of skill point requirements for dancers!" Or "Guess what! We're getting rid of all buffing/healing abilities!"

I will go on a shooting spree if something like this happens.

I'll start ripping arms out of their sockets, and not thinking twice about it.

In SWG, use the rule of 3.

If they say a server will be down an hour, bet on 3. If they said, "We'll respond on this tomorrow", get ready to wait 3 days. If they say, "We'll have an announcement for entertainers next week", you should expect to wait how many weeks?

Yes, 3. And that means this announcement will come out next week.

Let's hope they don't say something like, "And all of these changes will be coming out in the next year!" as part of that announcement...

Nah, instead if I run into a newbie, I think I'll just burst their bubble and say, "the Devs don't give a hoot, the players don't either, just work for a Jedi

You know, six months ago when I was starting out, someone actually did say as much to me. She did her level best for half an hour to discourage me. She was pretty active on this forum at the time too; I'm sure a lot people would recognize the name if I said it. Given the amount of bitterness she displayed, I'm not surprised she's not still around.

So Warryyr, please go do something to relax and recharge, because I'd hate to see you go the same way.

I didn't mean it that way. I suggested he take a rest, not stop worrying about it entirely. Battle fatigue is not just a game mechanic. In the original draft of that post, I suggested seeing a concert, but I thought that might be too facetious.

And whether or not you're guessing right, you are right that she was a "a good and valuable player" who got burned out.

Oh, I didn't take it that way. That was in no way directed at you. It's just that this would be the obviousadvice whenever someone says that the mood on the forum depresses him (I might use it too probably...). And it's only sensible too, just asyour comments. However, I can't stay away for some reason. Must be a sick fascination with bad news...

And I was thinking of a certain dancer who used to have a cantina on Dantooine...
