Don't even bother... they'll get healed anyway. Just put them on ignore and they can't do much to mess with you.

Never had reason to use it. Mayby they should do healing like the buff command and have it as target command. It would solve the AFK problem everyone complains about.

I've used /deny 3 times. The first was for a trouble maker aimed at one of my regular customers. To be fair, his troublemaking was totally in character and very well done. And so was my choice to /deny him the pleasure of my dance.

The second was for a customer that got a bit fresh. Never met him before and he kissed me on the lips. I slapped him and /denied him. He asked me why and I told him. He's behaved much better since.

The third was for a trash talker. I was using my new mind buff on a regular customer and the idiot practically stood on top of me. My customer very politely asked him to move. He did not, and started talking the trash. Very immature trash, I might add. Things got ugly and there was a fight. The good doctor (who is also a master TK), soundly thrashed the idiot. Too bad she didn't DB him too. He got up and started right back in on her. I noticed his 'watching' pose, his mind pool starting to go up pretty quickly. Since I was the only master in the room at the time, I knew he was watching me. I slapped the /deny on him. He called me a (deleted string of expletives) whore and a (big deleted string of expetives) dancer and hoped I'd die of AIDS. There was some talk of my mother hopefully dying of that dreaded disease as well. This individual made my friends list so that I can deny him every time I see him log on.

I have used it a few times. All of them being on imps that have tried to watch me after poisoning the tavern in AH, if I remember correctly. Is there anyway to see who is on your /deny list?

I like the idea of /provide service. That would cut down on most of the afk. Heck, I would buy them a house to dance in for there dancing points, if they wouldquit littering the dancefloor.

I had Whiteybear in the cantina on Corellia, having a good funky time when this chump tips Whitey 1 Cred. if you must know Whitey don't take chump change. So I layed 1000 creds on this fool and told him to buy something pretty, maybe frilly. So this cat starts tipping me back. One cred at a time. Needless you say i wanted to take out my afro comb and stab him. But Whiteybear too the high path friends and denied him the peasure of "The Nabbo Shuffle"(tm)

He got pretty upset but i laced him with abit of spice and it was all good.

As an imperial Master Dancer, I normally dance in the Bestine cantina on Radiant.

Now Bestine seems to get raided by Rebel's fairly regularly and thanks to my less than stellar combat skills, I was always a bit frustrated that I could do nothing to help my faction. Until /denyservice came along.

Normally I heal anyone who comes into the cantina, regardless of faction, overt or covert. However during a raid I make it a policy to only heal people of my own faction. I think that this does work, in that imperials are healed quicker (and buffed now) so that they can get back to the battle whilst the raiders either dont get mind healed (depends on other entertainers) or get healed slower.

One night's raid was a good example, everyone in our group was imperial and agreed to /deny non-imperials during the raid. The only AFK'ers were a Novice Entertainer and Musician doing the XP grind. At the height of the raid it was really amusing to see the imperial combatants run in, get healed by our group and then run out again in 2-3 minutes, whilst raiders were all sat around the AFK's for 5-10 minutes. You can bet that there were there some nasty comments coming from that side of the room!

Once the raid was over, we removed everyone from the /deny list and healed everyone as normal.

So faction dancers, you can make a difference - that raid certainly seemed tobe overrather quickly :-)

I've used it twice, once on someone that parked his humongous pet in the middle of the dance floor and the second time on a rude/obnoxious tard. /denyservice (idiot) /addignore (idiot) /report (idiot)

"So my question to you: How often do you use this command?"

I never used it. I gave up dancing because no '/denyservice' command can ever get customers to treat dancers with respect.

I used it once on my rl hubby cause I was mad at him. Had to turn it off when threatened with tickling. :/

Oh, and I think I used it once on a potty-talking rebel on Endor that I'd been battling. That's about it. I wasn't a supporter of the command, but now that I think about it, a /denyenemyservice wouldn't be so bad. But no big.

No really, I'm curisoy as to why you come to the dance boards when you've given it up. It just perplexs me, since you no longer have a first hand veiw of life as a dancer. What draws you back here?
