does the dancer benefit from the mind buff as well? or must she/he watch another dancer? i known they can heal their on BF, but what about buffing mind?
Chefs can buff each and every stat. Hopefully those buffs will be given some attention and made stronger and longer. They stack with entertainer buffs and doctor buffs. In no way do our professions compete. Believe me, we want chefs to get an upgrade too, but trolling on the dancer boards and trying to get our latest enhancement revoked isn't going to earn you any affection here, and certainly isn't going to magically fix your profession. You are very short sighted, sir.

Oh wow, I'll be able to show off my chest even more now...
Hoorah!
Wow!
A buff that's comparable to the Doctor buffs and it's Targetted!
In one patch seems the Devs have made Entertainers increasing more useful to other players AND made active Entertainers (not those awful LAMErs) something other players will seek out!
Well done!

Does the mind buff work in camps too? May have already been addressed , sorry if it has, only on my first cup of coffee lol.
Yes, the mind buff works in camp. We can also heal mind wounds in camp, just not BF.
One of my closest friends is a new chef. Chefs are the most underappreciated class in SWG, and i do think it's time they got some major loving -- if nothing else, just to draw attention to what they can do. I never go to a gig or a hunt without my chef foods and Tatooine Sunburns
If dancers and musicians can't be on the battlefield, chef food fits in your pocket. And it stacks with our buffs. Win/win!
"I can't see how anyone would take the buff and run, just make sure you get the credits you want be fore you target them."
I'm not going to demand payment for a buff. That's just not how I operate. If the profession is to work on tips, there should be game mechanics in place that encourage people to tip. This change doesn't include any suchencouragements andis, in my view, doomed to be abused. I fear it will all end in manyentertainers refusing to give buffs (unless they know the recipient), and even more animosity between entertainers and the combat classes.
In this case, I would let each entertainer decide how they wish to operate should it come to pass. While I would be judgemental on people who use /denyservice to get tips, entertainers who want money to offer a valuable mind buff are not being unreasonable in my book.
Personally, I don't think I'd charge up front, but I won't blame those who do.

If the patron offers to pay for it, and offers a price, I'll take it, but if someone comes in and asks for a mind buff without offering to pay, I'm not gonna turn around and say "okay, that'll be 100 credits". The customers are just gonna think "well it doesn't cost her anything to give it, so why should I pay?". This is the current attitude of the combat classes towards entertainers - why should yet another service we give that costs us nothing in terms of $$ be any differently regarded?
In my opinionthis feature isjust anotherinvitation for players to be even moreresentful towards entertainers. Our customers simply don't count time spent learning our craft to be valuable. Until their attitude changes, or until we have ongoing outlays for replacing worn-out clothes, or some other monetary expense, the attitude of the combat classes towards us will not change, andour professionwill be resented.
Will this make us even more despised? I hope not. From my point of view, I have a hard time imagining things getting worse than they already are.
A question does arise in my mind, however. If the buff is changed to only apply to our target, and we can only target one person, and it takes a bit of time to apply the buff...might we not see people bidding for an entertainer's attention to get that buff? It might not cost us resources, but it costs us our time, and if we can only buff one person at a time, our time is very valuable.
