Well yes this is my beef exactly. I have a level 27 swordswoman, EVERYONE I know is much higher level than that. I can hunt solo and get that amount XP easily. But I can only hunt solo or with some stranger I might find who is also my level. What I can't do is hunt with my friends and guildies and expect to get XP. I have to make a choice basically to hunt solo and get my levels or go on hunts and be useful as a harvester of resources (which is fine I enjoy doing that :smileyvery-happy but not gain but 1 XP per kill and /or die frequently. I also switched to try to get medic XP when I saw what was happening. I got 1 medic XP per kill (sometimes) as it is apparently based on the damage I do to the critters, which was 1 XP.I am not a grinder also and like to enjoy each battle, which was nearly impossible to do in this system what with watching my toolbar, watchingEllwyn's health, watching the critter's health, etc. It was not enjoyable and I actually missed all the battles. Also did anyone notice that in the combat log, the wording is masculine and I am a "he" now, hmmmm. So in 2007 when I finally level my character and have maintained my friends in the process, maybe i will be satisfied.

Nah.....just gonna cancel the combat alt and entertain until all my friends leave the game. Shouldn't take too long....

The upside is Bloodfin is going to get 4x XP... I would dearly love though if Ents are going to get to respec or not... as if not then I'm going to grind out doc again during the 4x XP

This week is suppose to be Double XP week. So if you are still playing the game after the combat downgrade please play on your server that you have you main toon on. From what I understand only 1 of your toons can get the double XP. But if your main char is on TC-Prime (which is the only server I play) then forget it cuase your server is not loaded up at all.

This combat downgrade and no server my be the starw that brakes the camels back. I am big on group playing. Many of you who play on TC-Prime who know my toon know that. I have a solo playing style and I am what is refered to as a casual player.

I do play on other online games so I dont get completly burnt on a single game. But never have I ever been BURNT by a game. Well I quess there is a first time for everything. Its too bad I was planing on sticking it out in hopes they will reverse there combat downgrade and make it into a starwars game again. Now it is more like a EQ2 in space with the feel of My Little Ponies.

From my understanding most of the people who signed the petion to get the combat upgrade will be (if not already have) cancel there accounts. The last time I looked at the petion it had over 12k people on it, not toon names real names. I am also on that petion.

SOE made a big mistake by forceing the EQ gaming style on SWG. They are going to lose alot of accounts over it. I am afriad to say I see a end to SWG. It most likly will not survive this complete rebuild of the game unless they go back to the old interface. Granted some of the stuff they did change should change. But they went way way to far. The game does not have the same feel. Even if they go back it may still not survive. They did alot of damage by insulting and not listening to the CUSTOMER.(i.e. the players)

If I still had a reciect I would return this product and not stay to see if they wise up and return the system back to the way it was(with the need combat improvements). I am not using any smily cause I am saving them for my good bye post if it comes to that.

Ok guys and gals we had almost our week of double xp... and to say the least IT SUCKS!!!! not to mention when its through we will be getting half of what I think SUCKSSSS!!!! Group and get hunted by 3-5 bh's do it alone and takes you forever to get 100k cant wait till this is over I will see more people just giving up there jedis ... Which in turns makes me laugh at all the BH's trying to kill what few jedis will get vis out there..

why does a bunch of people talk about double xp even though it is far from over??? i even see some put some NEW tuttorials on how to get fast xp and they start out saying well when it was double xp week....... Is there more than 1 double xp week or something? is it on certain day(s) u get double xp? just why is evry1 talking about double xp!?!

"Double XP" week started the week after CU went live and lasted for 7 days. The last week all galaxies were down for one day so the Developers granted everyone with double xp for all of last weekend and it ended on Tuesday. That's the only time double xp was granted and should be the only time it will be offered. Though they may do it again some day to cover their tracks if galaxies go down again.

People just like to brag about how much xp they gained in a single all-nighter. Or how they've figured out how to go from a fresh install to padawan in a day and a half. And of course that's when double-xp is on. It's just exageration while overlooking the truth. Makes me kinda feel sorry for new players visiting this forum for the first time. They think getting jedi is just a walk in the park when the fact is it's the most difficult and time consuming thing in the game (except for the time and effort it takes to become a great jedi, of course

). This forum is full of some of the best and most dedicated players in all the galaxies. Lots of us are rightfully prowd of our accomplishments and understanding of the game. But lately it's just been getting ridiculous. That and the fact that every other post is exactly the same question answered a hundred times over.

swg is turning 2 years old and how do we get thanked double xp ? I'm not doin fs im not grinding jedi so this helps me how? now that ive master pistoleer without it in 2 days now they annouce it . so the jedi get yet another bone thrown to them. also i heard of a macro that you make to duel people and bh'ers cant attack until they accept , so if you spam the new macro they cant attack the jedi. another weak jedi exploit??
