GIVE THEM THEIR SONG!!!
I don't want a broken dance, not now, not ever. I don't believe the DEVs will ever fix the dance, I quite frankly think it's beyond their abilities. They have done nothing to instill any confidence in their abilities or intentions.

#2 .... give the musicians their song!!!
The fact that we are discussing this problem really shows the unity and interdependence between the entertainment communities. We stand together, always.
Musicians should not be punished because the developers are 'dance challenged' (check the flourishes on most of the dances)
Thats my vote!

I would tend to think as well that if the quests went to live servers as-is that no further work would be done to fix the dance. Assuming first that this is the reason for the delay. I just don't know.
If they go the #2 route so the musicians can get the song, I must insist that my dance reward be a system message proclaiming that "Yuo are a winnar!"

I think the least they could do would be to give it to us as a badge.

Okay, there is a discussion going on over in the Musician Forum regarding whether or not the musicians should get their song even if our dance is broken. This is of course dependant on whether the two halves of the quest can be separated or not and if the devs are willing to do this.
Given that they could be split and the song quest could go live on its own, do you, as a dancer, think that the musicians should be able to persue the quest and get their song even if dancers have to wait for a fixed dance? You can elaborate at will.
1 - No!
2 - Yes!
3 - Don't know/care
Okay, me first. I choose number 2. I think that the musicians should get their song. I appreciate the solidarty they are showing over in the thread where this is being discussed, but I don't want them to have to wait just because the dance is broken. Of course, it might have something to do with the fact that I don't care for the dance anyway! LOL! Anyway - its a great song and I'd love to hear it on live!
Anyway, we should let them know where we stand on this issue.
As a Master Musician/Entertainer I have to go with # 1 on this one. I don't want the song until the dance is also fixed and released. If they do release the song first, I refuse to do the quest and won't learn or play the song until the dance is ready.

Release the song. My personal opinion is that the dance will never be fixed anyway, so why punish the musicians? They've suffered enough, give them their song (and 10 more while you are at it.)

If you don't mind, I would like to throw my two creds in here.
I feel that Dancers and Musicians are just two different branches of the same tree. We come from the same entertainer pot and are more related, IMHO, than any of the other classes when compared to each other. ( Yes even more so than Scout /Ranger )
Having said this, and I am sure that most musicians would agree...
I vote #1
If you have to wait, we can wait. I do not feel it would be fair for the musicians to have their song when you can not get the fixed dance. We are all so used to not getting anything anyhow...whats a week, month, or even a ye...er never mind that one.

Ooooooo.......singled outwith a one star. How does what I said in any way qualify for a one star? Isn't being anon about the voting system great? You don't even have to speak your mind, you can just be a lurker who stars posts. I should be so brave myself
