Regardless of where we each stand on the great afk debate:

These boards exist, in part, as a place for us to voice our opinions. This includes pointing out -- to the devs and to each other -- anything we believe to be wrong. Without feedback from us, how can we expect the devs to know what needs improving? And how can we benefit from other people's experiences and understand other dancer's points of view unless we bring things up here?

Some may decide to view this as 'crying' or 'whining', but the fact remains...if you don't point problems out, they aren't going to go away. People who post here are, by and large, people who care about the state of the profession. They 'cry' (as you put it) in the hope of getting things put right.

The people who don't care that the profession is falling into disrepute and have no interesting in its restoration probably will surrender their skills eventually.

Those that do care, will stay here and make their voices heard.

We are all different ages, come from different backgrounds and have different agendas in RL and in the game. It's no wonder that we don't all agree all the time. [Although most of the posts here are articulate and mature compared to many of the other profession boards!]. A certain amount of arguing (especially between people with artistic natures ) is inevitable, and shouldn't be seen as a bad sign.

Perhaps you should explain the parts about the way you attempt to use sexual inuendos and manipulation to keep your 'control' over the little gang of your groupies. Or the fact that the innuendos tend to attract people that 'bother' you.

Maybe explaining why you have these people that follow you around and bother you.

How about telling people about all the times YOU have been seen whining and snivelling about being killed while AFK dancing in the Cantina while you are Overt.

How DARE you list yourself as First Master of Flurry. Shouldn't it read First Macroed Master Dancer of Flurry? Trust me there IS a difference and I am offended that you would slef title yourself like this.

I have seen you in action and I think if people would be truthful with you, the people not in your little minipulation cliche mostly don't like you, your tactics, or your hypocritical posts.

I haven't played on Flurry for a while, but to be honest I figured you would be gone by now. I assume you are still whining non-stop to your little group of Imperial boy toys. I also assume you still get killed a few times a day by Rebels. How dare people kill YOU when you are Overt. It's just plain wrong.

If there is one thing that turns my stomach, that is a crybaby telling other crybabies to be quiet. Then again, that is you in a nutshell. Trust me when I say the worlds of Star Wars do not revolve, ESPECIALLY not around you.

Its good to get further perspective and information from other entertainers or players on the same servers. Realistically I'm a loud dancer here but I really dont have much say or influence server wide. I don't even have much influence here *chuckles*

Knowing how immersed and supportive of the entertainment community others are is very helpful.

E'ro thinks she is Queen of the Imperials. Her little group of 5-10 groupies help her to live in the imaginary world she is trying to create. Travel to Bestine on Flurry some day. Watch when she walks in the door. You tell me if she doesn't act like everyone should bow down before her.

I think you will get to witness her try to control the cantina and their actions. Telling people to do this and that. She has even said publically that it was HER cantina. Then she just HOPES someone will say something out of line so she can attack them then have her groupies jump in to defend her. It's just part of the little world she is trying to make around her.

It's pretty easy to watch her and be able to see she was a macroer. A true master dancer knows the timings a lot better then her. She dances to get the job done, not to entertain. Oh, unless she takes you in the back for a private lapdance (while her lapdog boyfriend waits in the main area). Her lapdances then generate the type of person that later ends up calling her a ho'.

Are we beginning to understand now?

Oh and E'ro, please respond to this. I eagerly await the chance to exchange a few posts with the likes of you. You know what else? You wouldn't even have gotten these replies out of me except you had the GALL to accuse others of being whiners.

Everyone knows there are 2 sides to every story. Don't take me at my word. Stop in and see her someday. Then go over to the Flurry message board and do a search for her. I think you will find all the backing my story needs.

Insulting, hypocritical, condescending, filthy, worse grammar than an elementary school student (e.g. "your" and "you're"), and just plain rude. All put together,the original poster does notcome across as someone I would respect. There is a word for such people: Troll. (Does anyone smell morehypocrisy in the air?)

Whether or not I agree with his/her claims, I think it's in all of our best interests to starve the troll rather than feed it.

Best way I've found to deal with harassing players it RP it! Everytime I've been insulted/slapped/punched etc... I've not had to /denyservice. One of the other patrons have come to my defense and dealt with the abusive person - either shouting him down for his behaviour or duelling him (they invariably win, in my experince people who get a kick out of teasing the entertainers are usually weak and think we're an easy target). Play the defeseless lady, let the more chivalrous players defend your honour!

PS Only once have I used /denyservice with vehemence, but that fiasco is a totally different story.

At any rate, it's a shame that E'ro turned out this way, I remember back in the beginning she was a really nice person, seems she has changed quite a bit since I last saw her.

Have to say reading this did give me a giggle. Erotica was out for attention and she got it lol. Sad puppy I say. Go diss another profession as you lost any respect you may have had by admitting being afk/macro lamer. Sounds to me lady is trying to remove her possible competition lmbo. Ignore her and if you are unfortunate to play on her server...find out where she performs just so you can go and have a laugh but then again she probably be afk so would be lost on her.

Regardless of what this (troll) has to say or others like her..I am having fun where I am at so wont work on me. Dont care one sec what you think. Dont care for the "I'm better than you are" attitude ingame or rl. Just makes me go the other way. I am willing to bet Erotica was also a lap dancer when she was at keyboard hehe. Zerene, you brought up something that really is neat to watch with a good Master Musician/Entertainer. There's this Master Musician Grud who practically lives in the Cantina in Coronet City. Every time I stop by, he's there. He's hilarious and so are the other regulars. The type of people that make cantinas a lively place to stay.

Sure I think a few of them macro a bit, but well... *shrugs*It never seems excessive and it's probably as a result of the 'grind' in game issue. But a troll was attacking him and /hitting him and the like. He kept saying, "Darn these flies. I thought someone did something with the pest problem in here." And so the troll got worse, actually getting up beside him and brandishing his weapon at him.

"I'll put my pistol against your tempol."

"I'd be worried, if I knew where my tempol was."

The banter made it wonderful and in the end, the Troll left with a pout and a, "I don't care if nobody says goodbye to me. Meeeyah." But obviously he did care and it had bothered him that nobody rose to his bait.

Maybe we shouldn't rise to the Troll's bait. Even if it is chum and there's not alot of vegetation.

I just noticed that sig, and uh.... actually Michelle was the first Master Dancer on Flurry. I know because I saw her reach it like 2 weeks before you.
