Dancer Archive

Just wondering if there are any Imperial Entertainers that have been to Talus? The two cities are pretty much full of Rebels, and the Outpost has a small bar that most people don't even know is there, and is never populated by an entertainer except when they are healing themselves. That is one of the only times I could condone the afk macroing.

My guild has a PA hall near there and to save them all the trouble of having to wait an hour to go covert (or commit suicide) I generally go afk there so they have somewhere to go and heal without having to waste a ton of time. That mean that I'm a lamer too because I'm one of only 2 or 3 people in the area that can heal mind wounds and BF and choose to go macro when I'm sleeping so they have a place to go? I can understand people hating the afk-macroers in the bigger cantinas, since that is just an attempt to gain extra exp by groupping before they leave and not even trying to raise it by themselves. When I am on I go to the more active cantinas and actually dance there and interact, but if I'm not on how is it hurting anyone by making it so local faction members don't have to travel all the way to Theed, going through massively hostile territory (Just about all of Corellia is rebel territory on Flurry I've noticed) when there isn't a single entertainer on the entire planet 99% of the time?

Sienna, I have other dancer friends who do this for their PAs. There's a big difference in the situation you describe and a busy cantina like Mos Eisley, Bestine, Coronet or Theed where traffic (and exposure) is high, and one's reputation can be spread so easily -- as well as the reputation of our profession.

I think if I were to do something like you describe, I'd change my AFK message to explain that I had left my toon running to heal my PA members. But I don't think you're causing any damage - and if you're a Master you're certainly not doing it for the XP

I trained Michelle try again I hit master weeks before anyone else did. Michelle is a wonderfull wonderfull girl and its my honor and priveledge to know her.

<sigh> They really need to add an edit button...

E'ro, I'm not trying to be mean, so don't take it the wrong way, but I know for a fact that Michelle paid for her Dancer lv 3+ skills.

All that aside, I don't know what has made you so bitter since I last saw you, you used to be a very nice and cheerful person, but I think what you might want to do is take a few deep breaths, calm down, and realize this is just a game. Then go take some time away from the game and do something totally unrelated, andcome back and talk with a level head instead of starting conversations with insults just because you don't agree with a viewpoint, or responding to people's responses with more rude behavior.

I'm not going to argue with you about her anymore either, but you missed the main point. I USED to know you, and you used to be a nice person, but from how you are acting on these boards now you have obviously changed a great deal.

I just made a post about all the ignorant things I see ppl crying about instead of focusing on issues that really need to be addressed.

Cmon afk dancers?

Id much rather see fighting as hard for healing BF in camp than expending so much energy on something this dumb.

You took my post as a direct insult along with several other ppl you hopped the band wagon and started insulting me.

Anyone who knows me in game knows the kind of person I am I could care less what any board troll here thinks.

Ppl get off the pulpet its fine to want changes but dang man ask for something HELPFULL to our profession and leave the afk dancers where they are....AFK

By my side, my first answer to your thread was nice and gentle and you dear came with bad word and rude attitude.

You assumed that "my skill to socialize must suck". Why couldn't you ask me that another way..the proper way.. without stand as someone arrogant and looking high at others ?

I'm sorry that english isn't my birth tongue to be subtle but at least I try to say courteous.

and I know for a fact I trained her and bowed to her and welcomed her to master status right outside Aicyrs shop.

Talk to Michelle you seem to know her so well.

And as for your comment on not trying to be mean? I would suggest you get to know the real me in game before you make more assumptions on me.

God I hate to argue over Michelle shes too good a person to have her name tossed around like this.

Ero was master before Michelle was. I know because Michelle made master just a couple days before me. Michelle even trained me to Master. I spent a LOT of time with Michelle. From what I see Michelle didn't macro or if she did, it was not to excess.

Michelle is a nice person and not agressive to others in her profession. Obviously none of that wore off onto our board troll friend Ero though. It's to bad.

First time I ever saw Ero, I thought I wanna be like her (She was Master). After about 5 mins, I changed my mind. I wanted to be a Master, but I never wanted to be like she was.

I am getting bored with my current character, maybe I will go to Bestine and dance in 'her' cantina located in the middle of town. It might be fun.

Sorry, but I am gonna dispute that. I know you in game and you seem the smae here as you do there. If people are not on YOUR side on an issue, you treat them as if they are stupid or somehow lesser then you.

I too notice that you seem a LOT worse then you were a month or so ago. I assume some of your boytoy imperials got tired of your drama queen antics? Did Lan decide to get a woman that didn't give lapdances to other men every night? Oh, but it didn't bother him right? *laughs* Wrong! I guarantee it did.

Honestly, who cares who made master first? If person X made master before person Y, the only thing it proves is they spent more time on the profession earlier. It certainly doesn't speak at all to character, skill, personality, or the ability to entertain.
