I can confirm that. I was told they were pulled.
Not true, at least as of yesterday. I got told to do fomal for the audition.

Wait... audition and not performance? It could be that he missed that part and it might pull from a different part of code. I'll ask either way though. I think this was unintended.

5th failure, audience spawned with no likes or dislikes at ALL. i had a friend checking npcs as well.
I'm canceling my account till this BS quest is fixed.

Same thing with me, I'm stuck on the first audience. clicky
I tried the first few times in Mos Eisley and the last time in Theed. My friend went through the entire quest in Eisly and finally got through it all with only a couple of fails. I didn't know about formal and lyrical being pulled, I'll keep them out of my routine next time.

I have failed the third performance twice for no apparent reason. I managed to get all the audience to reply (although most of their comments areabsolute nonsense - there seems to be a problem with speeder bikes breaking down lately

) and did exactly as I was instructed both times, but still failed. The thing I find just as exasperating is that we don't seem to have a 24 hour timer, but a 25 hour one. I did try 24 hours after my first failure on performance three and the manager told me to come back. That puts the quest back an additional hour - if this keeps up I'll be performing at 3am soon!
Or not - I'm not going to keep trying over and over again to win a broken dance.

Don't know if it will help kirah but i did pretty much every dance i have, doing random flourishes, maybe variety is key? I'm unsure but could be something to look out for, because i noticed when i stayed in one dance too long my rating started to drop but as i changed it went up again. So i switched to dances i didn't use yet for that show and it seemed to help alot.
Could try doing some they want, then another dance with different flourishes (avoiding disliked) not repeating the previous dance other then the liked dance and go back to the good dance/flourish(s) and repeat.

You are more of an Entertainer than I, sis.
With what I have been reading in this thread, what it takes to get a broken dance is ludicrious. I applaud the determination and fortitude all you dancers for trying the quest. I don't think I will even try try the quest for now. If I want to roll dice I will go to Vegas. If the dance was "free" after the audition I could see some of the randomness and waits, but to go through all the aggravation, waiting , THEN pay the XP for a "broken" dance, , , ,well "not I" said the little Zabrak.

I did the quest in TC, so yes, I doknow about doing a "show". I switch between different dances anddifferent levels of dances andhit the flo(s) theyrequest and avoid what they don't like. Still failed both times. . . .
Is it just me or does it seem that the musicians have an easier time of it completing the quest?

I don't know if it's any easier or not for the musician one. I did the musician one and I am now on the getting 30 people to watch part for the dance one.
/shrug....guess I've gotten lucky....haven't failed a performance yet. I did fail the audition for musician but none since then.
If they give me a dance I just typically stay on thatone dance and vary the flos alot.....worked so far.
On a side note when you need people to watch you it doesn't matter if they watch or listen to you.
I am at the 30 people watch stage for the dance as I mentioned before and was playing my Mando last night and got credit towards the dance one for people watched.

I also got a request to do one of the travelling dances (lyrical) at the audition.
Panthu, I hate the timers. They make me a sad panda. They're so damn unfair. If we have to wait 24 hours, why isn't there a timer for ALL quests? If I fail a mission at Jabba's, I can just go back and retake it. I wanna be able to do that with this.

I don't think it's just you, at least in terms of observation. With my Johnny5 hat on, all the input I've received on the forums and in game makes it seem the dancers have been failing more than the musicians. BUT, this could also just be a reflection of a smaller musician sample size, given that there are a lot more dancers (and lot more dancers active on the forums) than musicians.
The theories I've been pondering in my head still don't have any real support though, so I can't offer any ideas as to why it may be so (other than of course, the fact that we musicians are way cooler, and thus more likely to impress an audience.. maybe you should bring someone along to play music on the stage with you next time
).Oh, and Kirah, as to the 25 hours vs 24 hours.. the timer only counts while the server is up, so the downtime each morning stops the counter for a brief period, and pushes the time when you can do it again back a bit.

Finally passed it, got 3 that didnt want flo 5, so i just randomly hit 5 flos per exp tick, after removing my flo 5 hotkey and changed dances. Now onto the second performance.
