I saw her too, Honeewoo. Needless to say my ignore list (on a brand spanking new toon) grew several sizes in the 10 minutes I -had- to spend in Eisley...

Honestly it's just utterly rediculous that there is so much spam from unattended avatars that it lags people like me to 2 - 3 fps even after they've been ignored.

If that isn't a game design flaw I don't know what is. One of the biggest reasons why SWG will never be more than mediocre in the MMO world.

I really wish the ignore list was stored server-side instead of client-side, so they can periodically clean out the invalid names and not send any text from ignored people (thus reducing work for the client)

Official answer:

As expected, I didn't see anything in the tutorial about spamming for tips (for cute outfits or otherwise). I suggest kicking that girl's feet out from under her next time you run past.

I wanted to do some quick delivery missions, but all the terminal offered me was in-town deliveries for like 50-90 credits or so, and even then one at a time. I ended up going over to the Entertainer mission terminals to get some decent 1k payouts for a mission.

Have you tried Expolerer missions? Those might have you running all over the planet scoping out possibly dangerous situations or just run to point A and get paid. However these missions do pay 1k to 3k from what I remember. Also these missions give Scout exp.

From what I understand, you only start with 75k if you have an older character on another server. When I started my alt (Ini'dyl) right after the CU, she started with a piddly 1k. But when I started another character on Bloodfin about a month ago (same account, just a different server), she had 75k. /shrug

The 75k comes if you have JTL and have not had another character on that server on the same account.

Recursive macro begging gets you an /addignore from me.

I can not count the number of patrons who have told me they stay out of cantinas due to spam of this nature. It doesn't make the cantina alive and no it doesn't fool anyone into thinking you are ATK. It insults the intelligence of people to think that they would be daft enough to buy it. I see absolutely nothing positive about it.

To add to this most recursive macro spammers|beggers seem to have no idea what a proper /pause is.

I encourage people to macro some emotes and sayings that are trademark to your character. Make use of them very rarely and not in a recursive fashion.
