Are correspondents supposed to gather info from the communities? If so, why is it so much to ask for a little feedback?

I see that you are very passionate about sending hate my way, but that does not change my interest and many others I have spoken with through PM and in the game in having a simple "this is what I said to the devs" post from our correspondents.

It is not obvious what is being said by our correspondents to the devs or I wouldn't be asking for more information.

um, I don't think anyone's directing anything at you, but rather at your reactions towards what they've said.

yes, correspondents are suppose to gather info, and present them to the devs, then take what the devs allow us to say and present it back to you guys. as I tell my folks: I can either spend the time re-presenting what you guys tell me, or I can spend it to get more of our issues to the devs. most people choose the latter.

I think we need some tea around here... anyone have spare cookies?

You are confused. I am not asking about getting feedback from SoE staff reguarding what they have said, nor am I asking for you guys to tell us things you have been forbidden to say (such as details about exploits or NDA covered fixes). What I am asking for is just a simple post letting us know that our issues were forwarded (basically just a heads up on which issues were passed along so we can move on to other topics.)

Is that really too hard for you?

Many issues remain issues week, after week, after week. Deila already stated it, but allow me to restate it.

A weekly, 'This is What I Told The Devs' post would look like this:

"I told them about our issues. Again. Still Nothing"

If it's such a priority for you, you can just write that last line onto a sticky note, put it on your monitor, and refer to each it week

You know, I was just thinking...

I trust that you folks are doing what you can and thats fine. I just wish (like everyone) that our big issues would get addressed soon. I guess I'm just getting tired of waiting for fixes to AFK and lack of content stuff. That is why a weekly update from the Corrs would be welcome...if there was something to say. Otherwise it would be a bit more of a downer over the long haul. "Our issues remain, we're still waiting...that is all" would get old, quickly. It will certainly be a jubilant day when the afk play situation (as an example) is addressed. The big thing we may have that day is the legions of pro-bot folk that will come and lay their flames in on us for having supposedly caused it. A small bit of that backlash has been seen already in the recusive macros thread.

I'd like to see at least one of our big issues addressed before the summer of 2005.

The point is, we don't know what issues have already been passed along. ALl of you blue names get to read the correspondent forums. The rest of us don't.

And this is why even NJ doesn't post weekly updates (as upbeat and possitive a person as he is). There's nothing like reading through a thread where someone is asking for the latest news on an old concern and having the corr leave a frowning smiley as their reply . . . (okay, I doubt that any of them have actually done that, but you get the point )
