Option #1
The ability to field heal BF is nice, but it silly if entertainers arent involved in the process.
Option #2 is the option that involves Entertainers. Option #1 does not require an entertainer to be present

A different approach that involves DE's:
Let a dancer record/Sell a Holodisc - Record your dance. (Musician records music)
Plug it in a droid (In a Camp..and i vote the camp works like a Cantina) and a person watching the disc heals BF. The disc have X uses before it's worthless.
DE's should make moneymaking a (Playback module or whatever it can be named) and dancers can make a buck selling discs.
People will still visit cantinas for Mind wound healing/Mind buffs.
Sorry..maybe not the correct place for a different suggestion =)

2, except really you should have to be at least a novice dancer to heal bf or mind wounds since they're dancer/musician skills and anyone can pick up novice entertainer making it a pretty useless skill. Even though it's been that was since the beginning so it really doesn't matter much either way.

Option 2. Rangers Only.
Cantinas are already supposed to heal BF and you can find those all over. I would be all for an INCREASE in BF and wound healing in any cantina that doesn't have a registered entertainer in it. This of course would require them to FIX registration. And the healing level should not go above the healing speed of a novice Musician or dancer.(also letting us register in those little crappy outpost taverns or hotels or what ever would be really nice.)

I'm voting for option #2, but it should be limited to Ranger camps only, as Rangers need some utility and love too

I'll take whats behind option 2 please, and I must concur with my peers and ask for it to be Ranger only.

Option 1
Scout/Ranger camps healing BF over time.
Scout is the 2nd most popular profession, so the odds are you'll always be able to find a scout if you can't find an entertainer.
Set it so that it heals at the same rate as wounds - namely, based on the size of the camp, and never let it heal faster than what you would get from a novice musician/dancer (but higher than a novice entertainer, based on level), and you've solved the problem. If the camp has an entertainer, it works the same as a cantina.
In addition to the gameplay bonuses this change adds, it also makes sense in RP terms. Camps are relaxing. There's a nice fire to look at.![]()

Option 2
Scout/Ranger camps work like a Cantina for us.
Period. Just like they do now, but also with BF Healing and any future additions/mods to NPC Cantina Structures.
You would still need an Ent as much as you do in a Cantina no matter what.
Given only these two options, which would you pick?

Let me just go ahead and say that I know that part doesn't make sense... as we only get BF Mods past Novice Dancer, but, push through to the higher meaning. ![]()

Okay, if I understand the differences between the two options (and that's a big if as I am practically falling asleep here), I would choose to have the ranger/scout camps function in the same manner as cantinas. You would heal/gain XP at the same rate you would if you were dancing in a cantina. This would be my preference simply because I assume it would be easier to code.

#2 actually; I was thinking #1; but for camps to be 'relaxing' and 'entertaining' effectively what is there usually? Songs, stories, etc. So, SOMEONE in the group should have some kind of ent skill.. however, i think the flip side is true as well, solo'ers with novice ent skill should be able to heal their own bf faster by entertaining themselves then then would just sitting there..
If we went #1, it would further lead to the thought of ent as unnessary profs.
I think however even with an entertainer in a camp it should still be less effective than same entertainer in a cantina. (no lights, no sound system, no bar, etc.. lol) By doing this you would still give an enticement to visit cantinas.

Option 1, hands down.
I have always felt this should be the way it worked. Scout/ranger camps have a healing mod on them anyway, why not let the camp mod affect the entertainer class mod to BF healing.
I still remember seeing my first Master Ranger camp and thinking that it was nicer than some cantinas. heh

Given only those two choices #2,
However, given the chance to alter one slightly I would say Ranger Only camps act as cantinas. Im sure the ranger proff could use the extra perk, and since some of there higher lvl camps even contain crafting stations etc I see no reason BF couldnt be healed there.

Esharra, you are brilliant ^^
I'm also gonna buy me a small house to lug along, hehe..
I support option 2, I was actually miffed that this wasn't an option yet.
should be limited to ranger camps imho, like ents possible to heal BF in ranger camp 1-2, and possible to buff in ranger camps 3-4
