Option 1, hands down.

I have always felt this should be the way it worked. Scout/ranger camps have a healing mod on them anyway, why not let the camp mod affect the entertainer class mod to BF healing.

I still remember seeing my first Master Ranger camp and thinking that it was nicer than some cantinas. heh

Option 1 says you don't need an Ent for BF Healing in the camp. It would do it over time even if we weren't there. You got that part, right?

Option 1 means a Scout/Ranger could heal BF with out an Ent. Just want to make sure that's clear.

Also, yes, both options areScout to Ranger. Not just Ranger or Master Ranger only. Option 2 could be made to be Ranger or Master Ranger only, but Option 1 counts on the fact that most people have Novice Scout and could benefit from this BF HoT Campeven alone and with out Novice Ent.

Option 2. I don't like the idea of them giving our abilities to other professions.

I like option 2, and think it should be ranger only, perhaps master ranger only. Rangers need help too, and this would be a boon to them. As you said, you can't swing a dead cat in this game without hitting a scout.

All camps currently allow buffs and wound healing as I understand it. For ranger camps (or master ranger camps), add battle fatigue. Real simple.

In all reality, more players visit an entertainer to have their Battle Fatigue healed than for buffs. With that in mind, I would hate to see our biggest draw given to another profession in an effort to appease the combat community. I support option 2 (scout camps included).

I think giving either option to Ranger camps only would be better than Scout and Ranger camps.

On my bot I carry a small generic house so I can heal BF in most locations. It is always a little humorous when I yank that puppy out and plop it down, which I don't mind..but I'd love to just make a camp when needed. (it sure beats when I used to have to make a camp so I could take out the droid so I could find the house and heal BF!)

I vote OPTION 2!

Option 2 andmaybe give the highest level Ranger camp Option 1. Option 2 just makes sense. We can already heal their wounds and buff them in camps. We ought to be able to heal their BF in them too. But, rangers need help badly too. This afk fix is going to do something for us, and we have a new dance coming too. But, Rangers still have nothing coming their way nor anything scheduled in the near future. They can just use the excuse that the minor bf heal their highest level camp gets comes from them playing holochess on the table that is in thecamp

But, most definitely, option 2 for all camps with the possible exception of the top ranger camp.

Speaking as a retired Ranger, I think Option 2 is the most viable solution all around. However, I also think that it should be limited to Ranger-level camps only. As is pointed out, nearly everyone has Scout, but Ranger is a dying breed. It was with a lot of reluctance that I gave it up, but camps were nerfed once you could pull your bike or pet without one. This would give more people an incentive to continue from Scout to Ranger, and it would also give entertainers an additional source of income. I'm sure that many hunting parties would retain an entertainer for the group, and pay to have someone handy to heal the BF inside a camp.

If I understand the question correctly...and really who knows, I had to read it 5 times, lol. I would pick option #2. I've always been a huge advocate of allowing us to heal BF in camps. In promotes interdependency among various professions, and encourages people to ask entertainers to tag along on hunts, something I wish people had done and realized was useful from the very beginning. I think this will allow people to more appreciate our usefulness, and notice...hey, they can buff us here too? and heal BF and mind wounds? Yay! Let's make friends with them.

I am, however, extremely sympathetic to the plight of the Rangers, and option #2 doesn't really give them anymore than a novicescout gets. Perhaps having a higher Ranger skill would give an added bonus to the BF healing rate?

Option 1

Scout/Ranger camps healing BF over time.

Scout is the 2nd most popular profession, so the odds are you'll always be able to find a scout if you can't find an entertainer.

Set it so that it heals at the same rate as wounds - namely, based on the size of the camp, and never let it heal faster than what you would get from a novice musician/dancer (but higher than a novice entertainer, based on level), and you've solved the problem. If the camp has an entertainer, it works the same as a cantina.

In addition to the gameplay bonuses this change adds, it also makes sense in RP terms. Camps are relaxing. There's a nice fire to look at.

or

Option 2

Scout/Ranger camps work like a Cantina for us.

Period. Just like they do now, but also with BF Healing and any future additions/mods to NPC Cantina Structures.

You would still need an Ent as much as you do in a Cantina no matter what.

Given only these two options, which would you pick?

ok i'm going to get another 1 star

option 3

entertainer healing

even a novice entertainer can heal BF and wounds, entertainers tend to estabilish communities in various cantinas, the combatant that after hours of hunting i repeat hours of hunting need to heal his bf have just to know what cantinas are populated (2 names... corella and theed), maybe he can also add to his friend list the name of his fav entertainers to ask them where they are performing.

option 4

remove entertainers

Social play is obsolete for this game with most player that just want to kill the most uber critters to get the most uber loot as fast as possible, entertainers are a problem! They have to travel on most remote cantinas or try to find these hidden behing (they are more rare than jedi!) and this is a severe downtime, also they have to pay them! for buffs and maybe for healing, not to say that the entartainer can speak to him or hail him when he enter in the cantina! so here the solution, remove all entertainers, put buffing and healing npcs in all cantinas and why not make camps heal bf and mind wounds faster than an actual master entertainer

now about the first two option

option1

for can be ok to have empty cantinas regenerate wounds a bit faster than normal but under novice entertainer, is not ok to have camps regenerate faster than a master entertainer... entertainers wil become pointless.

option 2

BF can be healed at cantina for prcise reason... it was developed this way to make hunters return to town and socialize a bit with the 'social part' of the community... "entertainers" (ok is not that only entertainers are social, but their 'work' make them generally a bit more social than hunters.

ok you need an entertainer but in my opinion is better for them to stay in cantinas and form groups and socialize.

this way you will have the guy that need bf healed, doesn't want to return home and log his entertainer to go to the camp end get bf healed or the guy that ask to entertainers to come to his camp to heal him (again with entertainers leaving the cantina)

as said in the other 1 star post is not that in 5 min you get 1000 bf, you need hours of combat to build that up, you can spend 5/10 min before logging to go in a cantina and get it healed, maybe you will also enjoy it...

aaaa i chose option3 even if even 4 is tempting

Option 2, it should work just like a cantina, heals, BF, buffs, everything. Take the show on the road.

Given how difficult it can be for up and coming entertainers to earn healing experience as is, I can't see 1 as viable. 2 seems reasonable, but given to rangers only, they need some lovin.

Option #1

The ability to field heal BF is nice, but it silly if entertainers arent involved in the process.
