Thread: New Inspirations on TC!
most of the more logical explanative posts have been very enthusiastic about allthe buffing aside from this one resource change buff. this resource buff could come from a ranger and we would be explaining our side to them as well with the same arguments. its irrelevent where its coming from, its just more difficult because of your trampled history and i recognize that.

You and others are now talking us out of buffing crafters. Period.
I think that sucks.
Edit: Oops, lost an "E"... I do think this sucks though, I want to work with Crafters and I'm very excited about this with or with out the resource component. I think it stinks to try to dampen the enthusiasm for this new unity before it even has begun.

And whatever changes they make (if they do) will most likely effect you guys and well as the Musicians so its probably in your interests to be up to date with where different crafting proffessions are coming from.
Eh, not so much. This really only has to do with 2 out of our 6 as Dancers. For Musicians, it's five out of their 6. I think that's a pretty severe difference, don't you?
Also, it's not so much the BEs and Chefs freaking out. It's mostly WSs and ASs which have nothing to do with Dancers at all. *shrug*
I just think its unlikely they will alter the % increase or remove it for one profession and not another - hence if the WS and AS are listened to it will more than likely effect your buffs also.
Only trying to get you guys to understand where we are coming from over the whole concept of "Resource Quality" buffs. Since there have been some pretty negative comments made on this postregarding us raising our concerns.
No, I'm sorry but it is you whodoes not understand here. ![]()
Get the resource buffs all nerfed or taken out completely and it still won't affect Dancers hardly at all. The Musicians will be losing a good chunk of their new buffs, but we Dancers will not.
This is why I stopped arguing about that point, it just doesn't really have anything to do with my buffs' overall worth as a Dancer. Now, I do greatly take issue with the bot threats and the impression that that Dancers "aren't getting" the whole alt factor.
Our corr has asked that thoselittle scare tactics not be used in here and also to take your Musician Buff complaints to the Musician forum. I think that should be respected. Oki?

"Little Scare Tactics?" Maybe you would like to point me in the direction of any "scare tactic" I have posted. I have simply stated the concerns of a lot of crafters in General.
And since my characters have skills that will be affected by both Musician and Dancer buffs I will continue to post in both forums.
And I think you should really consider that people professions are as important to them as your's is to you before you decide to trivialise peoples concerns as "Little scare tactics" - I am sure you would expect to be treated with more respect if you posted your feelings on another forum.

Excuse me. As a crafter I supported entertainers being an essential part of the game, even though a mind buff did me no good whatsoever as a crafter. I, personally, don't have to be recieving a benefit from a profession in order to support thier concerns. I did NOT look at dancing issues and say "who cares, they don't impact me", but this is how you are coming off to me.
This change will affect all crafting, server economies, pride in profession, etc. We post our concerns here, to the Dancer community, in hopes that this poorly implemented idea does not go through.
Why not a buff to Repair Success? A "luck" buff that increases credit loots? Im sure there are many more needed, useful buffs that would not wreck the economy and professions nearly as much as the proposed resource buffing will.
As to the poster that said "SOE would never allow another crafting day", let me remind you, these are the same people that allowed and encouraged buffbots, created ADKs, allowed Pre CU components to convert better than anything made, gave people over a month of respec and cant get a grip on the experience gain system. They are also the same people who refuse, in any manner, to provide tangible non-combat content into the game. I find your faith in them, "Disturbing".

I am considering that, that's why I think we need a thread just for Chefs, BEs, Merchants, Tailors, IDs, and Musicians in here. *shrug*
Threatening with bots is a scare tactic. I didn't say you did it, I said it was being done in here and I take issue with it.

I'm just having a really hard time giving two credits about the arguments against the resource buff. Didn't see too many of these names offering up the rallying cry while we watched our professions get systematically destroyed. Didn't even see many of these names offering up a rallying cry when a novice entertainer could do exactly what a master dancer or master musician did as far as inspiration buffs were concerned. Not one crafter came to me and said.. "wow, sorry you spent all those credits trying to get a percentage increase to your mind buff only to have it removed from the game."
Are you kidding? I've had this account banned a few times in the AFK vs. ATK fight that's taken place over the years. Not for flaming, just for not accepting that AFK is an acceptable playstyle.
My objections to the crafting nerf and everyone else's has nothing to do with the source. I WISH entertainers were given great content.
Sadly this content is at the expense of a once great crafting system.
