Thread: New Inspirations on TC!

, but this 10% thing is just not right.
Esh said it would probably be lowered.
You are making arguments against this now that have nothing to do with this one area of these buffs. You and others are now talking us out of buffing crafters. Period.
I think that sucks.

Entertainers are not alchemists, we should not be able to effect the stats on a resource, it just doesn't make sense! (Its also very un-starwarsy).
That will be too late. If the effect is too great everyone will make stacks of pre-prepared schematics for all their products and components. We'll be back to the old favourite scenario of 'pre-nerf' equipment that will be available for a long long time.

Dancers will not be providing buffs for weaponsmiths. Why are you bringing your arguements here?

I was following on from discussions that have been going on here - and I was simply making observations not argueing.
And whatever changes they make (if they do) will most likely effect you guys and well as the Musicians so its probably in your interests to be up to date with where different crafting proffessions are coming from.

Eh, not so much. This really only has to do with 2 out of our 6 as Dancers. For Musicians, it's five out of their 6. I think that's a pretty severe difference, don't you?
Also, it's not so much the BEs and Chefs freaking out. It's mostly WSs and ASs which have nothing to do with Dancers at all. *shrug*

This is the first good argument against implementing this in it's current form i have seen. However if i let little things like physics get in the way of my fun, i'd really be upset. Considering 1) When you disable a ship in space it stops and doesn't even follow newton's second law of physics. 2) Ships catch on fire in space, which is impossible cause there's no oxygen (or any other gas) in space 3) Massive amounts of resources have fundemental changes in their quality just because a week or so has passed, including the evolution of all species being so quick as to fundementally altering their hide, bone, and meat characteristics every week. 4) the fact i can put an entire crafting station in my backpack, and still have room for 49 more crafting stations, AND carry 80 more cratfing stations on my body, when they are approximately double the size of me. 5)The fact that a medium house can only hold 70 more crafting stations. 6) When you store your clone data, then eat food, then die. You are cloned with a full stomach...
I could keep going but the point is that I have already thrown physics out the window in order to enjoy this game. The way i would RP it is that the inspiration buff inspires me to get the most out of my resources.

Hey Dej.
Nalargons..you really have to wonder..how did I ever stuff that thing in my pack. Not to mention the yacht in my bank vault.

I just think its unlikely they will alter the % increase or remove it for one profession and not another - hence if the WS and AS are listened to it will more than likely effect your buffs also.
Only trying to get you guys to understand where we are coming from over the whole concept of "Resource Quality" buffs. Since there have been some pretty negative comments made on this postregarding us raising our concerns.

ill just say this is an absolutely horrible idea, completely counterproductive to everything you are advocating, and let you try and figure out why since youre the correspondent with all the answers.
btw id lock the thread down too if i couldnt speak to all the legitimate issues being presented and just accuse people of trying to take advantage of their positions.
