Ok this is my first post in this forum, I have just made a dancer, a male dancer as I am a guy. I dont see to many other guy dancers. I guess thats cause nobody likes to see em dance,and ive discovered that well ive gotten no tips ,very little healing except from people who know who i am. Not complainin just sayin Hi.

A friend (and now guildmate) of mine has realized that he receives more tips when wearing the purple hawtpants and t-shirt from Deila's Correspondent Fireside Chat Tour than the total of the tips he's received in the rest of his dancing career (wearing his signature pink shorts and white chef's hat.)
Do you people NOW see what hawtpants can do for you?

I just have to say one thing: I get very tired of this attitude I come across of "people who get involved in relationships stemming from a game are losers." How dare you think you have the right to judge anyone on that. I met my boyfriend playing The Sims Online. I'm happier with him than I've ever been. We've been living together for two years - almost three - and are planning to get married. So don't point fingers. It isn't your business. It's one thing if that's simply not for you, but I'll tell you, sometimes it just happens. I had sworn I would never ever hook up with anyone I met online... and look what happened.

Happily,I can't really regret either experience. 
Neither worked out in the end, but I tremendously enjoyed much of the time spent with these women.

you're right, things like that "just happen". I didn't (and still don't) believe in strictly online romances, but we knew each other so well by the time we met that we became a couple. we've been dating for the past 4 years, and now here we are

I've met Pappi and Nos's men irl, they both rock! 
n'Jessi brought it up the other day in corr/glowie chat, like half the Corrs/Glowies met their SO online. I think it's sweet.

with the advent of the internet, no one says your soulmate has to live next door anymore. I've met a wonderful man online through this game and am planning on meeting him this year. Who knows what will happen from there.

Brian left everything he'd ever known to come and be with me. Moved from California, where he'd lived in a huge city all his life, to Podunk, Ohio. If that isn't love, I don't really know what is.

Last night in-game this dork tried to flirt with me. Fortunately, one of my guildmates warned me about him beforehand so I simply didn't respond to him when he started dancing right in front of me and /flirting and /smiling. About 20 seconds later he /tells me "why don't you flirt back?" I didn't answer him.
I was already in the process of practicing mixing/matching my dances (in particular doing lyrical flourishes and then swapping back to the popular2 base dance when the flourish ended, to avoid the "drunken slide" but still get the xp of the lyrical) so I decided to practice my "traveling." Now I don't know the flourishes by memory so I'd just do one and hope that sometime during the spinning, it went pretty far away from him. As soon as the flourish was a good distance in the direction I wanted to travel, I flipped back to popular2 and re-anchored my dance. (I've always liked this technique, but this is the first time I've practiced in earnest to get good at it.) A few flourishes later, I was quite far from him without stopping dancing.
He asked in group chat why I was so far away, and I said "nature of the dance." He asked if it was because he smelled bad, or was a bad dancer, at which point I decided to end this right now and replied "no, I just don't like men." He said "I figured, because you didn't flirt back."
Just hold the phone there! I must not be interested in the entire gender if I fail to respond positively to this particular specimen? Geesh!
Well, meanwhile, another male dancer in the group was getting a bit fed up wtih this loser, and sent me a tell asking me if I wanted him to mess with smacktard. I said sure. So my knight in shining hawtpants started flirting with smacktard, which smacktard pointedly ignored. In guildchat, I enlisted another male member of the entertainer group to do the same, which smacktard also ignored. Meanwhile, smacktard had moved on to trying to molest a female patron in full composite armor who was probably afk.
Good technique to get rid of smacktards:
Smacktard gives you a delicate rose.
/emote sneezes
/emote eats the rose
/emote burps out a petal
